I know Forge is installed because I was using already before this. The profile I'm running has Forge on it but I've never seen any other option to go along with it. But just to make sure I'm doing this right, I've took this screenshot for you.

yes and no. jnbt AND the Wasteland mod are for 1.7.10, and don't work for 1.9.4. And before you ask to update it to 1.9.4, the current maintainer of the mod hasn't been active for a long time, and unless you can do it yourself, or if someone else wants to, it's not going to get updated any time soon, if at all

Is it possible to create a Wasteland dimension that is entirely separate from the Overworld? I'm using Biomes O' Plenty for my Overworld dimension but I would like a completely separate Wasteland dimension. I do not want Wasteland biomes generating in the Overworld, and vice versa.

First, the current Dev is MIA, so the mod is dead.
Second, the Wastelands is a worldgen type. so you don't need to worry. If your having wasteland biomes generating in the overworld, its a Biome ID conflict. you can change that in the config, it would be easier to change the wasteland mod ID's as there's only 4 or so.
I realize the current developer of the mod is inactive. My question was not directed specifically towards him; it was a question anyone could answer, which you did, so thank you.
You may be able to run Forge essentials client-side and use the multi world feature to treat the wasteland mod as its own dimension. I'd run the anti-ID conflict mod as well to make sure there are no biome ID conflicts.

I use Anti-ID conflict, and the only issues I've had is with BoP. It doesn't work with Wastelands, as it tries to make villages generate differently, and the Wasteland mod doesn't take kindly to being forced to do anything to different (hell... it would crash when I changed ITS config to prevent grass from spawning... but anyway) Biomes 'O Plenty uses a _lot_ of biome ID's...

I can't stop playing this mod there's is something that drives me to play more of this. I recently featured your mod on my latest video, here's a link if you'd like to see it.
what i really want to see in this mod is some abandoned military base, underground and above ground bunkers, huge underground base with living humans/villagers, and an underground base with zombies and more. anyways great mod, loved it!

Awesome! Tho I hate to inform you that development is dead until GiMoe comes back (he's been inactive since October last year), or someone else takes over. MrSpring was the previous dev, but he has stopped working on this mod (hence why Moe took over).
Hopefully your mod will bring attention to a developer so they will pick it up, but unfortunately, and by no fault of your own (and please, this isn't ment as angry towards you), there might possibly be more people coming with crash reports, requests, ideas, and other things for this thread, only to be put down because they either, 1: don't read comments past the first page, 2: ignore all comments and just reply, 3: read two or three pages in, or only the last page.

Make your own generation type (or the ONLY generation type) and just use the biomes available with this mod. If structures don't generate, then use Recurrent Complex to add your structures.

well thanks for sharing this information I guess tho i wasnt begging for the features as i did my way to go around it, it was more of a personal opinion. so yeah it wasnt necessary to come harsh indeed, unless sharing opinion's an insult.
