it doesn't say -78, it says -78.520. As you can see, Voxelmap displays integers, so some rounding is going to happen. -78.520 is closer to -79 than to -78. Which is why Voxelmap (and Minecraft itself next to Block) show -79
What about this, then? Shouldn't the 114 round up to 115? Shouldn't the minimap show -78 because my coordinate is -78.044?

I am really dumb. 1.4.4 coming within the hour. Missed the other spot that function is used, will make sure there are no more
Don't recall all of what I had to do to get Java 8 running on OSX. It involved uninstalling java 6 though.
Do not start MC by double click on the MC icon. Instead, go App->Minecraft->right click->Show Package Contents->Contents->Resources->Java->right click on Bootstrap.jar and select Make Alias. Drag the alias onto the desktop. Start MC by double clicking the alias.
the latest version will always be available at the link posted in the first post. But I'll make a note that it is out in this thread
It's good that you post in this thread when you update, because it's nice to know the changelog from version to version. I don't think there's a changelog on curse?
The "Linux/Other" .jar file is just a pure Java app, works everywhere. The Windows .exe and Mac OSX .app are the exact same file but with some OS specific wrappers added on top.
Except for the newest Windows client, that one's a bit more involved.
I did. He says, "inside you will find another jar file called ShadersModCore-X.X.XXmcX.XX.jar".
You are seeing this message because an event callback was injected by the Event

If you are the mod author then in order to fix the error you must provide an
implementation for the specified class, or check that the class name and package
are correct.
This is an unrecoverable error, please report it to the mod author and remove

I recommend you add the world map feature to the 1.7.10 version. Just look at the number of 1.7.10 downloads to 1.8 downloads on the curse page. It would make the mod even more popular then it is. (Just a recommendation)

you realize that's the number of download since I updated the 1.8 version (one day ago) compared to the number of downloads since I updated the 1.7.10 version (almost three months ago) right? 1.8 version has been downloaded more often than the 1.7 version (though sure, some of those were probably repeats since there have been multiple updates)
I'd be pretty excited for a 1.7.10 backport too, if you ever felt inclined. I switched to VoxelMap from JourneyMap recently and though I find I can easily live without all the bells and whistles (and performance lag) and actually prefer a simpler more focused minimap, that 1.8 fullscreen map you implemented made me realize that was my favorite part of JM. If you never backport, at least I know I don't have to fret over which map I'm using. Nice work on this!
Seconding the backport as well, since at least at the moment it looks like 1.7.10 is going to continue being the most popular version for modded MC.
To add a bit of selfishness to that note, this world map is the main reason why I want to try VoxelMap again. I had no idea you added that, and not having a bigger map was pretty much my main reason for abandoning this mod in the past.
Please! Please add world map functionality to 1.7.10! I play with the TerraFirmaCraft mod which the developers cannot port to 1.8, so we're stuck with 1.7.10. JourneyMap and MapWriter both lag out and are unusable by me and many others. I like VoxelMap the best, but haven't used it for lack of the persistent map.
Where exactly Voxel in SP saves cache files to generate the world map?
it doesn't. It just reads the world save. Which is why it's slower than in MP, the stuff I cache is a lot faster to process. So I've been considering doing it for SP too

Oh that is right, totally forgot about that, oops. Great mod though!
All I am seeing is "Toggle Fullscreen Map" which just blows up the minimap to a much larger version. No scrolling on it, no nice interface like the screenshot shows, nothing that actually looks to be a world map. Seems very misleading for this mod to claim to have a world map option as well as a screenshot showing one, only for the mod to not actually have anything of the sort.
If I am missing something I would be more than happy to be corrected, but as it stands this seems like false advertisement of the mod's features on the main post.
What about this, then? Shouldn't the 114 round up to 115? Shouldn't the minimap show -78 because my coordinate is -78.044?

heh well no snarky reasoning then. Just doing whatever Minecraft is doing to get the numbers next to Block

Okay, if it's intended that's that. Just wanted to make sure it's not a bug or anything.
Oh...did not know that worked for mac too.
I did. He says, "inside you will find another jar file called ShadersModCore-X.X.XXmcX.XX.jar".
No, there isn't.
http://puu.sh/eRYUd.png
I also checked in EVERY folder in the .zip & there isn't a "ShadersModCore" named .jar.
Yep that worked thank you. I've got LiteLoader, OptiFine, & Shaders working perfectly. Loads up & playable.
Dropped the voxelMap.litemod into the .minecraft/mods folder. Now stuck on Reloading Resources.
Did OP means drop the mod into .minecraft/mods/1.8?
