So a quick question: Normal vanilla biome layout is a craftable dimlet?
===
If I have ATG running in the overworld (as the worldtype), is there any way to generate an ATG-based dimension?
Hmm. If you just generate a normal world with normal biomes isn't that using ATG then?
Default biome controller dimlet is craftable.

I don't know; I'm trying to learn (including what to expect) before I start playing.
But if you are using normal vanilla stonemaps, you won't get an ATG world, even if you have ATG biomes.
Normal overworld generates biomes, and then makes a stonemap from the biome information plus noise functions. ATG first generates a rough stone-noise map, then determines biomes from that, then determines a more accurate stonemap from the rough map plus biomes. This allows it to accurately report the biome of an X/Z location, just like vanilla does, but that will be based on the ground height data, rather than randomly zoomed-in blobs.
Mystcraft cannot generate an ATG style world.
I was curious if RfTools can.
For all I know, there may be a bad assumption in ATG that it will only ever be used in one dimension in a given world (storing information about the world it is generating without tagging that data with the dimension being generated).
(In regard to a mod that gives realistic animal genetics):
Would you really rather have bees that make diamonds and oil with magical genetic blocks?
... did I really ask that?

I guess you would have to test this. I have no clue if it will work or not.

Would it be possible to make "Dialing Device" auto select first available Transmitter, or remember one that was last used?
There is bug in ComputerCraft methods for your Dialing Device. If you use getRecieverCount() you will recieve, lets say, 3. But if you use getReciever(3) you will get error. You made indexing from 0, but starting index for lua tables and similar things should be 1.
Well this is not a lua table you're indexing but an internal datastructure which is indexed starting with 0. I'm not going to change that as it will be confusing otherwise.
Auto selecting a transmitter might be possible yes.

So internally im using normal array. It might confuse people, so maybe rather than current 3 methods fuse them into getRecievers() that will return normal lua table?
BTW Im thinking about creating CC program for Dialing Device, but first ill have to code GUI api, because Bedrock theoretically is there, but almost no one knows how to use it, and others dont support scrollviews.
I'm not sure this can be done with the CC/LUA api? I know OC can do it but I didn't see anything on how to do that with CC.

I've got a stupid question.. is it possible to make a Feature Large Fluid Orb Dimlet in the dimlet workbench, if so how?
No feature dimlets cannot yet be made in the workbench. That's on my (huge) todo :-)

okay, thanks for your answer, McJty, your mod is awesome.. if a bit op
Is it? Did you try getting rid of Big Reactors and then trying RFTools again? Now which is the OP mod? :-)

Pffft. BigReactors nothing. After the last RF conversion rebalance in ReactorCraft ...
Ah? Didn't follow that. What happened there?

New beta release of RFTools (3.20beta1). The main thing in this release is testing out the new dependency (which will also be used by my future Deep Resonance mod).

Before people start crying OP do recall that even the simplest ReC reactor is late endgame stuff that requires untold heaps of resources, a full blown factory and about a week of dedicated playtime to assemble.
... and an entire dimension to throw away when the first one melts down and explodes on you :-)

In case you want some additional. challenge in an rftools dimension. Upcoming feature in 3.20:

Added the possibility to prevent dimlets from being returned as loot (dimlet houses, villager, researcher, scrambler, ...). You can configure this using 'noloot....'.
Added IMC support so that other mods can blacklist or reconfigure RFTools dimlets.
German translation was added by ReneMuetti.
MindlessRanger submitted tr_TR.lang.
New Rouven, FireBall, and Puppeteer dimlets.
Added another safety in the crafter to prevent crashes in case a recipe result is null.
It is now possible to use the dimension editor to 'clear' all effects and all mobs by adding the 'effect none' or 'mob default' dimlets.
Changed the Liquid Monitor so it uses a different front texture when off.
Implemented a new pyramids feature dimlet.
Added two new effect dimlets: strong mobs and brutal mobs. With brutal mobs all mobs are by default 5 times stronger. With strong mobs all mobs are by default 2 times stronger. These dimlets reduce power consumption slightly.
Fixed a tooltip for the 'Add' button in the shield projector GUI
The dialing device now more clearly shows the distinction between the receiver and the dimension name by adding a tooltip. In addition the dimension name will now always be the correct RFTools dimension name. Also moved the coordinate to the tooltip to make room for longer names.
Fixed the peaceful module for the environmental controller so that it doesn't accidently remove the spawning restrictions. It didn't always prevent mob spawning. Also made the peaceful module even more robust by double checking that the environmental controller really is no longer there and active.
Also the Patreon dimlets are coming along nicely. That's why I'd like to remind people that you can support me at https://www.patreon.com/McJty
It is the only way to get your own personalized dimlet in RFTools. Who wouldn't want that? :-)

Ohhh man.. does this stack with Thaumcraft Champion mobs and AtomicStryker's Infernal Mobs? That would be amazing. Cruel.. but mostly amazing.

Hey, Rftools on curse currently does not automatically download Mcjtylib, so it crashes the game if people try to download it and don't know about the new requirement

yeah, i've noticed that the hard way with quite a lot of mods, it's a shame no one has done anything about it, not really sure it can be fixed in the individual mod though.
