§PhaserRave Take away two zeros from the capacitor/cell you want, and that is how much durability is needed on your tool. {info from here}
Thanks.
Would be nice to get a config option for this. Also, I think it should be balanced differently. Perhaps it could be applied to any tool, but less durability means more energy usage.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
The above post was written in front of a live studio audience.
that ,,issue'' was always there since chest support was added for crafting stations
Really? Then why does it work in Direwolf20's 1.7.10 pack? Drop down a crafting station, next to a chest, and you get access to the chest as well as NEI in the crafting station.
I admit that I haven't started checking other 1.7.10 modpacks, but assumed it was something in a configuration file on my end. But it does work in at least 1 pack, and I was wondering why I can't get it to work in mine.
If anyone could shed some light no this I sure would appreciate it.
hey i have a question about a certain aspect of tinkers construct im trying to find. (example) In regular tinkers construct a simple flint pickaxe can break a wide variety of blocks but in modpacks like blood and bones the material a tool can break is severely limited. I want to know how change/find this version of tinkers construct so I can put it in the place of the original tinkers construct to make a mod pack a little more hardcore

It's not a version of Tinker's. It's called Iguana's Tinker Tweaks. It is another mod that Boni is maintaining. You should definitely check it out.
That would fix tools gained from chests, but unfortunately not zombies. Will be giving this mod a good look, regardless, as it may help smooth out some of the general rough edges in our little pack. Thank you!
We just decided to go without. More of a challenge? Something like that.
i am playing tinkers in 1.7.10 and the seared bricks are invisable when i place them it is the same with the glass pains. what do i do to fix that. i have reinstalled both tinkers and mantle please help me.
Suggestion: allow chiseled seared bricks (the square within a square design) to be chiseled back into seared stone. That is currently where the chisel crafting chain ends, it only makes sense to loop it back so you're not stuck with that design.
Better suggestion: implement shaped crafting recipe with chisel to allow players to "go back one" in the chain.
Best suggestion: GUI and left-click interaction similar to Chisel mod.
Use Forge 1232 instead of (what I'm assuming you have installed) 1236. Everything after 1232 is wonktastic with OptiFine. Both HD A4 Standard and Ultra work just fine with latest released versions of TiC, ExtraTiC annd Iguana TiC Tweaks.
So, the arrow duping problem was fixed. And while I'm sad to see it go, it really did need fixed. Unfortunately, now you don't get arrows back at all when you kill mobs, only when you miss
Excuse me for my impatience, but is everething going oK, with implementing crossbow, longbow, etc? i mean, it is a fun to watch how Dire bolting Soaryn with crossbow, but hey, we all ready to use this wondrous gear as well... )
If you would look at the recent pages, and see one of my previous posts, you would know those are available for public consumption. Yes, you have to want it enough to get it, but it's there for those who know how.
EDIT: I've been asked for a direct download from other people, but (a) I doubt the Great and Magnificent §boni would like that and (b) I encourage learning to do things yourself instead of waiting for a hand-out.

could you at least give us a hint as to how you got the new stuff? i don't think the github source has it..
Mine has more, and I tested it with a full one. I'm going to test it with no additional mods tomorrow. Maybe something is conflicting.
Placing a Tinkers tool station by itself, I can see NEI when accessing the station.
But if I place a chest next to the tool station, NEI no longer appears.
Has anybody seen this issue? Is there a fix? I am using the latest Mantle, Tinkers, and NEI.
Thanks.

If I'm rude to you, just tell me. Don't take it too personally. Well, unless you were being stupid. If you were, DO take it personally.

http://minetweaker3.powerofbytes.com/wiki/Planned_Versions so somewhere with 3.1 version there should come support for mob drops.
also do try this mod my the current author of tinkers construct: http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding/minecraft-mods/2176855-iguanas-tinker-tweaks-2-0-6 for even more challenge :-)
Or ( if you have it) the 3dblocks mod as it has caused me issues with TC and MrCrayfish's Furniture mod before.
why not just add full chisel mod intergration?

There were armor casts before 1.7. They were useless
When you post a mod: "No pics no clicks" and "MCreator = bad ~99% of the time"
Don't forget to read the crashlog before reporting the crash. It might tell you why it's crashing.
