Easter egg, I suppose. Though if there were a balanced, obtainable one, that'd be kinda neat. It'd be possible to make em out of tempered glass (tempered glass is heated specifically for higher durability and shatter resistance).

I just took the Minecraft Noob test! Check out what I scored. Think you can beat me?!
Does anyone know, is there a way to increase the attack speed on Swords, Cleavers and Axes, something like adding a material as a modifier to make it lightweight or something like along those lines. Is this a thing???
Not sure if it matters which version, but just in case: v2.2.2 for 1.9.

I don't think so, think there should be.

I was able to in the last version for 1.7.10. Did it change for 1.8.9 and 1.9?
Yeah as already said above, unfortunately you can't use the pattern chest for the gold/clay casts, at least in 1.9 TiC v2.2.2 you can't. Whether it's a bug or a removed feature I don't know, but it would really be good to have that back or a new cast for them.
Sorry how do you mean exactly??? I tried taking the pickaxe head, axe head and both tool rod patterns out of the stencil chest, then tried to added the gold equivalents, but they would go in.
Are you saying it can only take 1 material, so to put gold patterns in, all wooden ones need to be removed or vice versa???
Yes, that is what Boni meant.
1 chest for patterns
1 chest for gold casts
possibly 1 chest for clay casts
Yep, you are absolutely correct, I just emptied the chest completely of any wooden patterns, and now the chest will accept Gold casts Can't believe I didn't think of trying that before.
If I may, I do have another question regarding v2.2.2 for 1.9. I understand it's a Beta, but I'm interested to know if this is a bug, issue that needs to be balanced in future updates, or if this is a normal thing with all versions.
Q: Swords and Cleavers seem to be quite well balanced in terms of attack speed and damage. But, wood axes (hatchets) seem to be quite weak in their attacking stats, unlike the Vanilla axes in 1.9 which are slower, but deal a lot more damage than swords, so they are now a pretty damn good weapon.
Also, Pickaxes and Mattocks seem to be 'Very' overpowered. [Example]: I've been using a Steel cleaver with a few modifiers on it for a while, it's very high damage but has an very slow attack speed to balance it, whereas my Steel Mattock with no modifiers used deals almost the exact same amount of damage as the cleaver, and a lot more than a Diamond Sword, but has a 471% faster attack speed! Meaning it has almost no cool down and can be spammed when attacking just like you could in pre 1.9 versions.
boni, is this the way it's always been and intended, or just an issue that needs to be rebalanced in future non-beta updates???
Where can I find an updated guide for TC 2? There have been a lot of changes from the previous versions and these changes don't seem to be shown anywhere. I have not found an updated Wiki or Youtube video at all. Does one exist?

Yep. Gotcha covered. Look back on page 206. I put a video up that should clue you in. Also, just did another for weapon combos too! For ease I have put the links below... Thanks for the "spoiler" tag help Kye_Duo.

Well, i have tested all the weapons, and sent boni, in the thing for reports this, and well, cleaver is not balanced, and longsword barely usable, the best "weapon" is the broadsword.
But i use a shovel a la shovelknight as a weapon XD
Fair enough.

Is there a version of Mantle for 1.8.0? I can't run Forge 1.8.9 because it crashes a lot, but Mantle 1.8.9 doesn't work for Forge 1.8.0.
What is the maximum height at the foundry?
Quick question: Is there a chest for casts (gold and clay), like there is for stencils, or do you just have to use a normal vanilla chest???
Unfortunately, no :c

You can, just not both.

That really stinks. It worked for me in 1.7.10. Why'd it have to change?
