Late reply( busy being sick ), ill probably work on trying to make textures for the other balls later when I get the chance.
Noticed it was mentioned already but with further testing ive noticed a couple things about the current pokeplayer bugs, maybe they can help you track down the issue when you got spare time:
Its not just moves that don't seem to hit anything when a player uses them, but apparently using moves can start causing AI lag for all mobs( even vanilla ) making in even less likely to hit since mobs not there anymore when you fire it off. Not even skeletons can hit you and even if you move they will keep firing on the spot you were at.. sometimes even making a literal sea of arrows in that spot if you don't hit them( even more lag ) and even then they just go back to shooting empty air. Im assuming based off another issue that everything is linked by a common player/pokeplayer desync issue since if a player turns into a flying or floating pokemon and then turns back they can still fly but take fall damage when landing. Haven't got around to testing if other passive attributes like water breathing or fire immunity do it as well but I wouldn't doubt it.
Oh, I also figured a work around for other mods config files after some log reading and testing for other players who want to do so for other mobs:
I can call specific mobs from pokecube( Except alternate forms, they seem to always count as the main pokemon. Ill need to test if configs can use spaces later to call specific forms instead ) for other mods by adding "pokecube_ml.<insert pokemon name here>" into said mods config files. Downside is I legit had to manually add every pokemon into the list by going through and thinking with each one "Logically speaking will this suffocate?" for AR alone for like 6 hours. Thats not even factoring in the MC3 configuration time. Even if someone wanted no pokemon to be effected by other mods features theres no blanket option to select all at once so need to manually go through and add every pokemon to the configs manually. So far ive made and tested a list of all pokemon that should be able to survive without air and also made a list for each MC3 attributes such as fire types don't die from nether damage and dark types can survive on dark aether. Since pokecube doesn't NPE when pointing at a unimplemented mob I was able to work off that to add everything to the lists so it will be in effect after they do get added. Im guessing the lack of NPE is due to the mod technically adding the non-functional pokemon( They're in the database after all ) so thankfully theres no crash when I point at the mobs that don't exist yet. New one on me. I do need to figure out how I can control spawns for other mods biomes, do I just list the name in the spawns.xml or can I just block all pokemon spawning in a dimension/biome in general because having pokemon spawn on dark aether that aren't dark types.. yeah. Its a parade of death so bad I have 3 bag pages fully of berries now
Last but not least I finally did it, I added a new pokemon with a resource pack. Sure its only a alternate form of raichu I was using to test with but its ingame, got a custom moveset, base stats, and I even edited the raichu textures for it.
I was planning to make resource packs for certain mods that add pokemon for compatibility like AR and MC3 and this raichu is basically what I was planning to make pikachu evolve into if a thunderstones used on it in MC3s dark aethers biomes.. problem is I can't figure out how to edit evolution location for other mods biomes so using a dusk stone on pikachu will evolve it as a placeholder. Also having issues with getting the lang file to display its name instead of the base name. That and raichus always evolve into alolan form for me even when outside of a beach biome ignoring location so thats a problem too. Im not complaining since I can never find a beach and alolan raichus awesome, but it does seem like a bug.
Then theres the texture needing to be in the pokecube mobs gen_1 folder instead of the resource pack, im guessing its because its a new raichu form so games looking for a raichu texture where the normal texture is. The pikachu evolution method needs to be in the main mods database too unless I missed how to add that to the resource pack instead. It learns dark pulse as its main move like alolan raichu has psychic and I edited raichu/alolan raichus misc moves for it so it learns more dark moves in exchange for not learning certain moves the other raichus learn.
Anyways, have some screenshots of the raichu so far:
The mob itself
Its even got a shiny form so far
Considering it took MONTHS for me to figure out exactly what to do, ill take it as a victory despite it not being much at the moment. Pretty promising for the future though.. I am gonna have so much fun going wild with eevee and some location based evolutions. End evolution into a ghost type sounds promising after all

So I was messing around with pokeplayer to try and see what was going wrong...
First of all pro tip for all the people saying they can't figure out how to use it, you have to hold LALT and then left click to use a move
Anyway, I was able to use the move, as in in the text box it said I used it, but nothing seemed to happen. Tried a variety of moves, no luck. I then had an idea, so I turned damage blocks on, checked with a normal pokemob to make sure it worked, then tried using a block damaging move. Again, it said I used the move, but nothing happened. Tried it with a pokemob, it worked.
I'm pretty sure that the problem is that while the move is getting executed on the client, its not running on the server when used by a pokeplayer. Maybe the packet handlers got messed up during an update? Regardless, Thutmose, I know you don't like maintaining pokeplayer, but would you mind checking it out? It's probably a simple fix and pokeplayer is one of the things I really enjoy about this mod.
it should work to put "pkmn.Dark Raichu.name=Dark Raichu" as a line in the lang file?
I put exactly that in the lang file but it never works for some reason. Theres also the evolution method, anyway I can make a pokemon evolve in a different mods biomes similar to other location based ones?
I've been playing this mod for a few days now and love it.
I have a few questions:
1. What are pokeseals?
2. Does the table in the pokemon centers do anything? The wooden table in the corner that emits light, is difficult to break, and can not be crafted according to JEI, not the healing or trading table.
3. Does having pokemon equipped with iron tools or feathers do anything?
4. How do I get milk? I'll want a healing table at my base when I get high enough level to move out, but don't want to break the ones already in the world since I like the idea of every village having a healing spot. I'll also want to make cake someday.

1. you can craft effects on them by crafting them with things like dyes, water buckets, leaves, and then you can apply them to your pokecube by trading them with it. This results in some fancy effects when you send out your pokemob.
2. that table can be right clicked to trigger the choose first gui if you had disabled it via config. It was added to pokecube for use on servers where you want to have the player choose the pokemob sometime after the start, and was added to the pokecenter when there was a major bug in 1.8 or 1.9 that prevented the choose first gui from working.
3. If you look in JEI, some of them might require iron tools as an evolution item, some other items are still on the held list for legacy reasons, they used to have some purpose, before the pokemon related items were properly added, or they were accidentally added to the list.
4. Get a miltank, it can be found in plains in the day time, you can then milk it, you need to own the miltank to milk it.

Not on the Curse Twitch Launcher...
And since almost every mod downloads as a simple mod jar, inconsistencies like this only tend to confuse people. I often forget to extract zip files myself when updating modpacks, meaning that the mods won't even get loaded.
I technically can for the pokecube mods, as I can put them all in the same source folder when they are compiled.
However, the reason why I do not, is so that I can upload fixes for the various parts separately. My upload rate is very unstable, and it is difficult for me to upload large (>5-10MB) files, they have a high failure/corruption rate when uploading. This means I usually need to upload pokecube mobs several times before it properly uploads.
Pokecube Mobs only changes when either something needs fixing with a texture/model/sound, or when new mobs are added, it doesn't usually need bug fixes, and it is most of the size of the mod. Having it seperate makes it much easier for me to upload.
ThutCore has a bunch of my rendering/maths/terrian/etc libraries, which I also use for my other mods (bling and my elevators mod), so it is kept seperate so I can just manage that codebase once, rather than having to also deal with a port inside pokecube itself.
Pokecube Revival contains the mod compatiblity features, as well as several blocks that affect mod compatiblity (ie the cloning/energy stuff). It is seperate to allow it to be updated accordingly as the mods it affects update, but generally doesn't change otherwise, and is 1MB of generally static stuff for me to not have to upload again.
Pokecube Core contains the primary code required for pokecube to work, and is where most of the bug fixes are done, so it updates more regularly, it is already 3.2MB, so I don't really want to merge in the other 1MB from revival and make it give issues when I upload
Edit: Oh, you mean all of the jars zipped in one archive? ya, that will cause more confusion than it is worth, as people will forget to unzip it, and cannot distribute easily

Hey, quick questions, first, what are the differences between the 1.10 and 1.11 versions of the mod, and where can I read the changelogs, since I've been away from this mod quite some time, and I would love to know if there are new features.
EDIT: I know that this is not the right place to post this, but I really don't know what is causing this crash, can you guys lend me a hand?

your crash report seems to be a version missmatch with some mod? check your forge versions, or one of the core mods is messing something up.
the 1.11.2 and 1.10.2 versions of pokecube are identical, barring whatever minor internal changes were needed for working with their versions of minecraft. You can find the changelog for each version on their curseforge download, here is an example: https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/pokecube-core/files/2413646 if it says "synced changes from X version", then check the release for the other minecraft version at that time for changelog.

Thank you for this awesome mod ! It works perfectly with the modpack Beyond.
I have a question : How the exp. share works ?
I give it to my pokémon, with a right click on the pokémon with the exp. share on my hand. But when I fight with an other pokémon, the pokémon with the exp. share doesn't win exp.

the pokemob holding exp share has to be out of the cube, within 16 blocks of the battle. This is done to balance the training a bit, as otherwise you could have a full inventory of cubes of mobs holding it.

Considering it took MONTHS for me to figure out exactly what to do, ill take it as a victory despite it not being much at the moment. Pretty promising for the future though.. I am gonna have so much fun going wild with eevee and some location based evolutions. End evolution into a ghost type sounds promising after all
it should work to put "pkmn.Dark Raichu.name=Dark Raichu" as a line in the lang file?
I will look into the issue with pikachu, I wonder if I have his evolution rules backwards (which might result in him always evolving alola)

My modpack, ParasCraft: An Exploration-based Pokecube Modpack https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/parascube
1. you can craft effects on them by crafting them with things like dyes, water buckets, leaves, and then you can apply them to your pokecube by trading them with it.

Could you make the download as one zip file, that has all the mods? that would make installation a whole lot easier!

Someone may have already asked but, is there a way to set a certain mob to spawn at a specific biome?(in case, a biome from another mod)
It might work to put the biome name in the types section of an entry in spawns.xml, I will try to confirm that this evening.
the pokemob holding exp share has to be out of the cube, within 16 blocks of the battle. This is done to balance the training a bit, as otherwise you could have a full inventory of cubes of mobs holding it.

Looks like a really cool mod! Unfortunately my 1.10.2 server crashes when I try to run it.

I think your perfect spawn mod is messing something up with its core mod, I also noticed your version of pokecube mobs is a few versions behind, though all that does is reduce the number of pokemobs you have available.
