I'm so terribly sorry but does anyone know if A. the ability field amplifier does anything, or B. the ability Illusion of Zorua and Zoroark does anything? Also, I cannot seem to find any up to date documentation of the mod in general anywhere...

I hope someday there's more magic in Minecraft, though I know it's not likely to happen. In the meantime, I play modded a lot. I enjoy a lot of other games too, so don't expect me to be on the forums all the time.

I apologize about the lack of documentation, I am not very good at writing good documentation.
A. Ability field amplifier will broadcast the ability of the pokemob inside out a specified radius from it. you can set this radius with the buttons on the right. An example of use: Stick a pokemob with "damp" in it, and no explosions can occur within the radius.
B. Illusion currently does nothing, the abilities are all listed as in as placeholders for when they actually get implemented.

Thanks for the explanation. Now, could I ask what Snagcubes and the Thieving option in the config do? I've played XD:Gale of Darkness and the predecessor whose name I cannot spell right now, so I've got a hunch they're related...

snag cubes only work on shadow pokemobs, which currently don't spawn anywhere (no shadow pokemobs are added atm either)
The thieving option lets you trade someone else's pokemob for a stack of emeralds to make it yours (assuming you manage to get your hands on one of their pokecubes somehow), I haven't checked if that still works though, it might have broken in the latest changes.

Thanks again! Now it's off to try to find a good server to play this mod on! Wish me luck, because if my past experiences with trying to find servers are any clue, I'm going to need it...

I have a question, why do you offer a version for 1.8.9 if there's only two versions on the curse page for the main part of the mod, "Pokecube revival"? They're both also really out of date compared to later versions, tagging at 2.2.17 and 2,4,2, compared to the 1.9 and 1.10 versions which are, at their most recent, 3.4.11 for 1.9.4 and 4.1.11 for 1.10.2. Pokecube Core has a similar problem on it's curse page with only three 1.8.9 instances and the rest being 1.9 or 1.10
All I really wanted was to use Thaumcraft and Ruins in conjunction with this mod, and I'm just concerned that with 1.8.9 versions of Pokecube Revival and Pokecube Core, being severely out of date compared to what currently exists, that I might miss stuff that's in current versions of the aforementioned parts of this mod.
I'm still going to get all the required components to do what I want to do, but if I'm missing some things with this mod that I would have liked to see because two major components are out of date, I'm going to be really disappointed.
Other than that, this mod looks great, and I really hope it stands up well against Pixelmon when that mod gets updated. Good luck.
ANOTHER PROBLEM, when I tried to start up minecraft with everything in there, I got an error on the screen telling me that I needed Thutcore 2.5.0, a version number that you do not have on your curse page ,
I literally cannot play the mod because the 1.8.9 version of thutcore on your curse page is 2.4.6 and not 2.5.0

I apologize about thutcore-2.5.1 being missing, seems it got hidden when I was cleaning up a bunch of old versions, it is back on now.
The vast majority of the changes in the 1.9.4/1.10 version over the last month or so have been bug fixes specific to the 1.9 update, the only "new" things that have not been also done for the 1.8.9 version are some changes to trainer rendering, and a change to the pokedex, and a few other minor things requested by people for 1.10.2, I have not had any issues reported for the 1.8.9 version, and the bug fixes for 1.9/1.10 don't usually also apply to 1.8.9, so they haven't been backported due to being more likely to cause issues, and due to mostly not being the same bug in 1.8.9.
The reason for so many bug fixes, is that pokecube for 1.9.4/1.10 had not been tested until recently, so there were quite a few bugs, if you look at my "contributions" here, you can see I did a similar pass of bug fixing for 1.8.9 in february, but no such thing for 1.9, as it was not stable yet. https://github.com/Thutmose

Previously, pokémobs would stand next to you when they were attacking, which made it easier to hit and kill them. Now they walk into your player model, which is sort of strange and makes them very difficult to hit, especially the tiny ones. This also happens when two melee/close range pokémobs fight, which is a sight for sore eyes. Is it possible for you to revert this?
This is more notable with beldum
Also i made the cooltrainer skin
Hey, just a quick question, but is there a limit to the amount of pokemon you can spawn using the /pokemake command? I was able to spawn about 5 but now it keeps giving me an error saying the the name is missing, "missing mob name or number" on top of that I've been using pokemon that I've been able to spawn successfully before. So I don't really know what's going on here, if there's a limit to how many or if it's just bugged.

That might be difficult to change with the way it does the combat code now, as it actually detects if the pokemob physically hits you, rather than just magically applying damage at a distance for physical attacks, also, it seems rather realistic to me that it is hard to hit tiny pokemobs, have you ever tried hitting an angry small animal? I can see about a way to change it, It would probably require quite a bit of rebalancing of the entire combat system however.

Hmm, are you sure the command is still in the command block correctly? it shouldn't matter how many are around, I saw 1000 rattata spawned in one spot to test it.

Did you want a male version too ?
It should be, unless something has changed with BoP since the compability was added for it a couple years ago (via forge biome types).
Ya, both versions would be nice, I will hopefully have trainer spawning code re-done for tomorrow, to fix the ones in water.
