I love the Instant Structures Mod! Thank you for making it!
In the future, would you consider adding the following feature or a companion mod that worked with ISM to do the following?
Idea: From the main menu or a mod configuration menu, select categories of ISM buildings or individual buildings that will spawn in a new survival map as a new landscape is generated. It would also be nice to have the option to set a building spawn frequency or minimum and maximum range between ISM spawns.
I think it would be a lot of fun to have ISM medieval buildings spawn at random around a new world as you explore it!
If possible, it would also be nice to have ISM medieval buildings spawn in villager villages with existing villager buildings or whole villages made of ISM medieval buildings!
It would also be nice for any category of ISM building to be able to spawn depending on what kind of experience players wanted to have.
Whenever I go to download the mod my Internet provider blocks the link saying it's a dangerous link, is there a mirror or alternate download?
I sent you a private message.
This update adds the function to remove placed structures from your
world. For this ISM replaces the area of the placed structure with a
backup of this area. With this update ISM has all its key feature.
Additional changes:
new: mark the area of an updated structure when reposition a structure
overworked: instructions of the progress dialog
overworked: removes notes of placed structures when removing their world
fixed: German decimal mark instead of the English one
Playing 1.12.2 (using mod version ism-2.3.1) and trying to place structures causes the game to hang and eventually requires me to force-close -- additionally, trying to grab the .JAR gave me a virus warning. I adore this mod and I have for years, so I'd like a little help with this matter. Thanks, MaggiCraft.

Hello, I am MaggiCraft the developer of Instant Structures Mod (ISM) and a few more Minecraft projects.
When we have used this mod to create some of the bigger structures they catch fire and / or melt. Lots of the blocks are lava or ice. I thought maybe they were poorly designed but we have had lots do this now.
Sydney Opera House had loads of ice walls, so melted and flooded.
Highclere Castle was devastated by a terrible fire despite the best efforts of me and my 3 year old acting as fire wardens... he was pretty upset his castle burnt down! This seemed to be legitimate fires in fireplaces catching the whole house alight.
But we have tried a number of other big castles and they seem to have lava and ice in inappropriate places - lava in the gardens and ice in the stairways for example.
Is this just bad luck or is there something wrong with our set up?
I'd love to be able to use this mod to help with home education - looking a geographical / historical buildings but the kids get upset when they burn down.
Thanks
I've edited to show some images of what I mean. I didn't recreate Santa's Village as that was just too distressing to watch the little elf houses burn again!
Hello, I love the mod but there seems to be no structures to use. 1.12.2, I originally ran this mod a few years ago on 1.9 so went through and updated to 1.12.2. Went to the new interface to load a structure and the libraries are empty. 1 of 0 pages listed. I checked in the ism-2 folder and there are 2 folders there, both are empty. Have I done something wrong here?
This update brings exciting new features for placing and repositioning structures.
These include mirroring structures around all 3 axes. Furthermore, structures can now be rotated around 9 different points.
Most of the new and revised features are now being tested by UnitTests. This reduces the number of errors in ISM in the medium term. This step is necessary because 13 ISM variants for 13 Minecraft versions can not be tested manually.
-new: Placing a structure leads to saving the world. Now worlds are automatically recharged, drastically reducing the time.
-new: cancel scanning, placing, repostioning and removing structures will remove the bounding box
-new: a yellow button will indicate if a placed bounding box is out of date
-new: enable or disable the flatten area option when repositioning structures
-overworked: the way in which structures are rotated
-overworked: some adjustments to the GUI
-overworked: storing information about Minecraft blocks and metas needs less RAM
-fixed: wrong dimension of placed bounding boxes
-fixed: converting a .schematic file to a .str file converts unknown blocks incorrectly
-fixed: removing structures placed the old terrain in some conditions in the wrong direction
-fixed: can't set the z-offset of a structures while scanning
-fixed: can't set the offset of a structure while placing
-fixed: structures with dimension 0 can be placed
-fixed: errors with downgrading newer blocks to older Minecraft versions
-fixed: errors with rotating blocks correctly
-fixed: errors with missing combinations of metadata and blocks
-fixed: errors with combinations of metadata and blocks that doesn't exists
-fixed: errors with combinations of metadata and blocks that can't be used for scanning and converting structures

Hi, @MaggiCraft. I'm having a problem with ISM where once I click "Place Structure," a window with a progress bar shows up with an orange section moving from side to side forever. I've allocated about 12 gb (the maximum RAM on my computer) to the forge version of Minecraft, set the priority of the Java program to high, and waited almost two hours in one case. However, regardless of the amount of blocks on the structure, nothing happens at all. Have you got any solution for this?
EDIT: the .Jar file name is ism-2.4.5 MC-1.12.2.jar. Is that the correct one?

Hello, I am MaggiCraft the developer of Instant Structures Mod (ISM) and a few more Minecraft projects.
This release fixes a bunch of critical bugs and migrates the source code to Java 1.8. Thereby older versions like jre 1.6 or 1.7 are not supported anymore.
New: Some users have reported that they could not add structures to the library. This was most likely due to a flaw in Internet communications that ISM has little influence on. Users now see detailed reasons when a structure cannot be added to their library. A workaround for Windows users has been implemented for a certificate error.
Fix: Fixes a bug that has prevented the scanning of structures under certain circumstances. This meant that some scanned structures could not be placed. Furthermore, this error has prevented the removal and repositioning of structures.
Fix: Fixes a bug that has prevented users on macOS from placing structures.
Fix: Failed to place structures of a collection from the contex menu.
Fix: View of scanning structures couldn’t be opened after opening a combination of views in a specific order.
Fix: A bug that prevents users who life in the year 2078 to place structures.
Fix: Creating a bounding box with less than 18 blocks to scan a structures abborted the scanning process.
Overworked: Scanning large structures is now a bit faster.
Overworked: Migrate source code to Java 1.8.
Overworked: Migrate to JUnit 5
Overworked: Highlighted the title of structures in the minimal view.
Overworked: Updatemanager for ISM.
Overworked: Some details on the GUI.
