In that scenario I'm not sure how appropriate SD is on its own. By that point you would be trying to integrate it against another inventory system like AE2 or EIO or RFTools to give you some centralized management over items. Although you can pull up the GUI of individual blocks, WAILA is the main way to get item names at a glance. I suppose WAWLA may get support in 1.10+ based on how it's evolving its own identity.
I asked Nuchaz about it before the stockroom catalog came out. He suggested it would be supported, but I have no idea. If the support's not there, I don't think there's anything I can do to help that.

Shame. It'd be nice to have Stockroom Catalog support for drawers.

Oh crap, I forgot I needed to release a Chameleon update for that. Should be up on Curse shortly.
yeah i thought that was the case where you forgot because i can tell that Chameleon haven't updated regarding the Storage Drawer.. so gladly to have reminded you of the mod that need the update.
Yeah i know some items are recognizable but having like 50 different ores from mods, is really hard to see which one is the one im looking for, and i use wawla sadly, i guess ill have to change to waila
You can also use framed drawers to categorize things by mods or otherwise.

I did some CraftTweaker scripts for Mystical Agriculture. They fill in a couple of small gaps in MA, and also let you make or duplicate not only vanilla plants, but the blocks, plants and wood from Quark and Biomes O'Plenty. Also spawn eggs for most vanilla mobs! The scripts are here on Github.
I'm currently putting together a 1.11 port. As you might imagine, there's a lot of damage due to the ItemStack changes. Hoping this will only take a couple days though.
Once the 1.11 port is out, I will continue to primarily focus on the 1.10 branch. And my other neglected mods (*cough*gardenstuff*cough*).
Speaking of changes, the next time the middle version number jumps for 1.10, all IInventory support is gone. It's old and legacy and I gutted it out in preparation for 1.11. There may still be some 1.10 mods that don't support the new Forge IItemHandler and only work with IInventory-based inventories. Those mods will stop working with SD. Sorry. Petition their authors if you encounter them.
Alright, 1.11 version is out. We're obviously too early into 1.11 for this to be really useful, but it could use some love. There's almost certainly lingering issues.
Getting around to an old and common feature request. Will come as a new upgrade (more to discourage the FPS hit unless you really want it. Or ... would people prefer this as a new key?).
The above item count display feature is now available in 3.5.0.
I was torn over whether to do this as another tier of the indicator upgrade, or as a vastly more accessible key. I opted for the key, which you can find in-game as the 'Quantify Key'. As with all other keys, it's actionable on controllers, so you can toggle the blocks in bulk. The labels will also fade out past 10 blocks, so you don't see ugly unreadable text, and don't pay FPS to render them. Apart from the compacting drawer, the numbers superimpose on top of the existing indicator upgrades nicely, so you could get both a fill bar and a readout.

ah thats good to know.. its always better to have a option where we can either enable or disable the features that has the storage drawer showing the amount of materials/ingredient. hmm I preferred that you make it limit to 5 blocks which shouldn't be any problem.
and also i noticed one more thing. i can't seem to get it. your title quoting:

Thank you! This will be very useful!

Are you holding a stick when you remove items? One mod, I forget which one, turns all wooden sticks into a tool for inspecting block IDs.

Hi.
Is the Stockroom Catalog, from Bibliocraft, compatible with Storage Drawers? I tried to use it, but I'm not aware if it's even compatible or not.
It'd be a good feature, though, to fully catalog what you have in those drawers, without actually seeing them.
PS.: This is one of my favorite mods. Keep up the good job,
I asked Nuchaz about it before the stockroom catalog came out. He suggested it would be supported, but I have no idea. If the support's not there, I don't think there's anything I can do to help that.

Shame. It'd be nice to have Stockroom Catalog support for drawers.
Hey guys,
So the only way to move drawers that are filled and will stay filled is by using JABBA right?

Oh crap, I forgot I needed to release a Chameleon update for that. Should be up on Curse shortly.
Mods I Develop: Garden Stuff -- Storage Drawers -- Hunger Strike

yeah i thought that was the case where you forgot because i can tell that Chameleon haven't updated regarding the Storage Drawer.. so gladly to have reminded you of the mod that need the update.
You can also use framed drawers to categorize things by mods or otherwise.
So 1.11 is out, and so is Forge support for it.

So much for the "couple days" part.
1.11 ended up being very damaging to this mod. Still working through the issues but I'm bound to overlook tons of them.

Storage Drawers - v1.10.7 / v3.5.0 / v4.0.0 - Updated Nov-23-16
by 1.10.7, are you referring it to minecraft version or are you referring it to version of your mod? its confusing...
It refers to the 1.7.10 branch of the mod. The version has been incrementing so long it eventually started matching Minecraft versions.
