I'm playing with the mod in Agrarian Skies 2 and really like the concept
I have a few suggestions though:
Could you make the hitbox of the chest a little smaller (just like the vanilla chest), so that it doesn't take up the whole block
A way to change the color of the chests afterwards would be nice too
When building a chest or a backpack, it would be more convenient, if it would be placed in some sort of output slot instead of being tossed in the air (I've lost more than one chest to the void through that mechanic)
Otherwise really nice mod
1) yes, I thought they were like that so I will change that.
2) hmmm... this is a hard one, I like the way of keeping the color and the point is really once its done its done, but I might add it at some point.
3) I have had many people screaming at me for losing chests into the void on Ag Skies x) I will look into it, or maybe make it place it on top instead of firing like a missile, attacking the void!

3) What you could do is either place it directly into the players inventory, use a trajectory that is aiming at the player instead of randomly shooting or just spawn it in the middle of the player, without motion and a delayBeforeCanPickup of zero
Hey, I've been playing with this mod on AG2 for a while now, and I've noticed one bug (besides the massive FPS drop, which I see some others have mentioned, so I won't bug you about that again.). Whenever I pick up a Compact Chest with a Dolly from JABBA, while it's placed above any Duct from Thermal Dynamics, it picks up the chest, and retains its inventory, but it also drops another Compact Chest, colored black, with an inventory of 0 slots. Opening the newly created chest does not crash the game. You can also see it in Dire's video here (21 minute, 53 second mark. For some reason, when the below video starts, it starts at 12 minutes.)
Saw this mod being used in Hypno's AG2 vid an thought I'd give it a try, but um, the chests don't seem to play nicely with Optifine:
I disabled Optifine, and that fixed this texture issue, but I can't play this world without Optifine. I need my connected textures and FPS stabilizing. So I'll have to remove this mod. Pity, since it seems like a cool mod.

To be honest. Why do you need to remove the mod because the chests are translucent? You can still see and interact with them. That is functionality, not the rendered block in the world, but each to their own. This has been reported already but please. Report issues on the issue tracker if you want me to look in depth, include logs etc. https://github.com/tattyseal/IssueTracker/issues apart from that all I can say is, it will be fixed, but in 3.0. 2.0 in general is a mess and I see no point fixing stuff that is already fixed in the 3.0 branch (which is not stable) so at this point all I can say is, Optifine breaks it, but not to a point of un-usability.

I am having an issue with the mod, when I click on build backpack or chest button nothing happens. I have more then the required materials in the correct slots. I am using the latest hermitcraft modsauce 2 modpack with the at launcher. I am trying to make a 24 row by 12 column bag.

Well we used to be able to change the chests' colour using wrench/crescent hammer. But tatty removed that feature

What message exactly? If it is like :doubleChest and not compactChest then it is ok.
if you are on anything about 1.9 then just go those chests dont even exist anymore it was just for backwards compatability
