I direct you to:
"(i recall it working for vanillia model but not any other)"
I meant as it working on this mod's models. and it is supposed to be more of a development feature, so that other people can create and share models. possibly an add-on.
besides, that only lets you edit the blocks. I was talking about being able to make them more like a model with animations, rotated boxes, etc., such as what techne does but for the in-game player model.

WearMC then
if you can make it then you could do anything
I found where the mod stores the colors, but I don't see where the tail type is stored. I saved 2 skins with different tails, and none of the pixels appear different. If it's supposed to be the 2 pixels left of the colors, doesn't appear to work properly. Still need to actually check the export function with my friend when I get home.
If someone could just upload a simple skin key for this mod in the form of a png, I would greatly appreciate it, and I think this guy would, too.

Do you need a professional resource pack? Do you need it right now?
I wonder if you plan to add items for those of us with machine/robot based personas, like power cords, antennas, power pack, etc.
(That is an image of me and my alternate with the same avatar in a virtual world, as you can see I have a headset, antenna, drone launcher, and power cord)
(Sorry for the large image, its an old one I had and is hard to resize while maintaining detail)

Not everyone has access to 3D editing software, or knows how to use it. Most of those programs are too expensive, too complicated, or both.
The parts I touched on shouldn't be that hard to make (most of them not requiring animations) and power cords could be made by modding existing parts.
Those with machine/robot based personas should not be left out, we are part of the same communities as everyone else!!
Actually there are a few 3D editing programs out there specifically made for minecraft models. Check out the Tools section in the forums, they're hard to miss and far easier to use/simple than paid ones. Techne seems to be the go-to as of late.
Seems what's far more complicated is actually importing and animating those models, which thankfully here the author offers to do (eventually) as long as the model is provided (done properly, incluing a texture map and without z-fighting or unreasonable amounts of faces)
Give it a try, it's actually not that hard as far as making and texturing a model goes!
It doesn't show up in-game. I do have Forge, am using 1.7.10, and the mods are in the created folder called 'mods' in .minecraft. Am I doing something wrong?
Kihira, glad to see you got the library updated mod is still amazing. Just asking this out of curiosity, by no means am I asking to rush or anything, is there an eta on the 1.8 yet? if not cool, looking forward to it though
Pay no attention to sawtooth44, they like to shoot down ideas, I got the exact same response from them when I suggested parts for machine/robot based personas a while back.
Sharkgrin actually was helpful with a place to look to find or make parts, after my retaliation to the "copy/paster", just look a few posts back.
I'm not sure if there is a feature like this in the mod yet, but horns and antennas (of any type) may need their own attachment point separate from the ear slot, that way you can use different ones together.
I already sent two dragon wing textures that could be used. I didn't make anything related to dragon horns though; I already have a good substitute by putting the horns on the hat layer and enabling 3D hair with More Player Models. It works decently well. The actual thing would always be better than a work-around though.

That's a bit unfair, sawtooth just told you what you can do for your idea to be added faster, in case you don't get it: If someone makes a model (on techne or similar) for any parts that you or someone want added, then kihira will probably add it
There, something to think about, and if you can't model, then either ask someone else if they can do it, or wait for kihira to answer you. Thanks for reading
EDIT: Techne is free, and so is a mod to make models while inside minecraft, so money isn't an excuse
I didn't know that information on my original post on this thread, but a responce better than one line of text would have been more helpful, and doing a copy/paste on another person is just plain rude.
Like I said before Sharkgrin actually pointed me in the right direction and I'm looking into Techne, it just took some digging to find it.
In case anyone else is having trouble finding it, here is a link to the Techne web site: http://techne.zeux.me/
