The Redstone Interface outputs a signal to a surrounding block but does not output directly from itself. Not sure how your set up is but here are some screenshots to help you out.
Awesome, that was exactly what I needed! Thank you so much, I'm getting a signal now!
Hello. I'm running this mod on a server, as part of Feed the Beast's Monster mod pack. I've noticed that the recipe for the Portal Frame involves using a machine frame instead of whatever its supposed to be on the wiki (could just be a different texture, I suppose). My issue is with the Redstone Interface.
I can't make it!
Nothing I try will work. The recipe simply doesn't produce anything, which is odd, as all the rest seem to work. Clicking on it in the NEI takes me to an odd screen related to the Fluid Transportation Module. This happens with the Network Interface as well, although in a slightly different color.
Can someone provide me with whatever the recipes are supposed to be for the Redstone and Network Interface blocks? Again, I'm running Feed The Beast Monster mod, Minecraft ver. 1.6.4.

Check the Config, if im not mistaken the 1.6.4 version has an option to enable alternate recipes for the parts. Make sure the server and the client are using the same config options
I have no way of knowing what the server is running. I don't think its been fiddled with at all, but the server admin was in a car accident and is indisposed for the time being.
Looking at the ThermalExpansion recipes that Alz commented out from 1.6.4, it looks like you crafted the Redstone interface block and filled it with destabilized redstone, and the network interface and DBS blocks you crafted and filled with liquid enderium. Unfortunately, the recipes, other than those registered for the TE machines, can't be found in the Github history of the EP files (at least the recipes that MIGHT be the 1.6.4 version look like the current ones
I've always enjoyed that added bit with TE, so I may re-enable them in future versions. I'm also looking at tweaking the power requirements and adding a GUI at the DBS so that you can monitor the portals attached to them.
Enhanced portals 3 packs part of old buildcraft API. Could we get a updated version with the newer setup? The issue came up when I was working on adding in galacticraft. The newer BC has the older API removed if you check the link below you can see the conversation below. I spoke further with the buildcraft dev in IRC and upon removing enchanced portals everythig else works flawlessly.

I'm having difficulties getting the portals working. I was following step by step along with a mod reviewer when I ran into a snag. I didn't have Thermal Expansion. I tried to add it and it crashed my test server. So I went into the Enhanced Portals config file and changed to false the setting for power requirements. I went back into the game but the portals claim they don't have enough power.
Anyone know how to fix this behavior?
Hi hraf, what is the version of forge & EP3 that you're running?
Something of an edge case, but it might effect other mods that move placed blocks around:
I'm playing Resonant Rise (the modpack) that optionally includes Archimedes Ships. Essentially it turns any structure you like into a boat or airship. There's a way to place the structure back into the world as something you can change and edit (and walk around on). When I build a portal into my ship and place it back into the world, it doesn't function (no surprise) but when I try to reinitialize it, it managed to keep the DBS link but seems to have lost its UID. If I try to use the same UID as when I first placed the portal, it says it's already taken and the Network interface loses its configuration as well. Essentially it keeps the "old" portal registered on the network. I can dial back and forth using Dialing Devices and new UIDs as a workaround but I've also observed the Dialing Device being brought back from ship to world as a network device, essentially making me burn through diamonds.
I suspect that other mods that would pick up and remove chunks of blocks like Applied Energistics would also cause these problems.
Thanks, someone's requested AE2 schematic support, but I'm having problems implementing it for multiblocks. Hopefully other mods either use the AE2 API for it or have their own.
Has anyone used a power source successfully from a mod other than Thermal Expansion? I know I can turn power requirements off. I tried to install TE but it causes the server to crash.
I'm happy to announce that Alz454, the original author of Enhanced Portals, has returned and can offer much more attention to this great mod than I could. Sorry to yo-yo you all, but please address anything related to EP to the old post here!

Just need the recipe... -sigh-

Where can I find these?

Hi, can you start off by telling me the version of minecraft, forge, and EP3?
Ah I'm so stupid, it's right there in the commented out area of the page I linked... so it looks like you craft the frames like this:
SQS
QMQ
SQS
S = Stone, Q = Nether Quartz, M = Machine Frame
Throw that in a fluid Transposer with some dest. redstone or liquid ender pearls.
_E_
EME
CCC
M = Machine Frame, C = Gold Coil, E = Electrum
Fluid transpose some liquid ender pearls on that and I think you get the DBS blocks.

This will be updated in 3.0.10
Nice mod!
