BTW, on your front page you recommend using a chest as a buffer when auto-sorting into a barrel array, using two routers, one to pull from the chest and eject into the second router, the second router sorting into the barrels. This can also be done with only one router, if you use Chickenbones' Translocators to pull from the chest and feed the router. This method is also blazingly fast, especially since the translocators can be configured to select full stacks first for preferential transfer, which greatly increases overall throughput.
The translocators can ALSO be set to filter up to nine different items and divert them elsewhere, instead of sending them through the router, enabling you to filter out items that should not be auto-sorted into your storage system. For instance, if you're using, say, flints as placeholders to "lock out" reserved-unused barrels or hidden connector barrels, you can set the translocators to filter out flints and divert them to a separate barrel to keep them from getting spread across your locked-out barrels or gradually accumulating in your connector barrels.
On my 1.6.4 server, my incoming storage front-end was an Ender Storage ender-chest feeding three separate routers via a total of four translocators (one outputting from the enderchest, one inputting into each router, all in the same block). I never found any way to dump resources into the front-end fast enough to overwhelm the routers, as long as there were open barrels for them to feed.
Tom, I think I may have discovered one missing feature from the router. In order for extract mode to work properly in barrel networks, I think you need a config option to set which face of a barrel to fake extracting from, since the default behavior of all the barrels I'm familiar with is to allow mechanical extraction only from the bottom.

You select witch side the extraction is done on, at the main tab, that is what the sides are for.
If you select bottom there it will use the bottom side on all machines or barrels that is connected.

Aaaah! The sides interface is for which face of the STORAGE the router inserts into or extracts from, not which face of the ROUTER. My error. Never mind. Carry on!
Just wanted to ask does this have a 'fixed' version of the thoroughness upgrade? So it actually fills all items into the first barrel for example and not put 1 piece in every available one? If yes - that would most definitely be a useful mod !
Somewhere back in the thread, I believe Tom explained why this can be a bad idea. Mainly for furnaces and stuff where you want it to round-robin over all available inventories. Though it seems to me that in that case, you'd simply not use the thoroughness upgrade.
I think actually if I were implementing this myself, I'd probably handle this case differently: I'd make "fill first matching inventory found, then move on" the default behavior, and make round-robin distribution an upgrade. (Where "matching" is defined as "empty or already partially filled with the same item, and not locked out", with partially-full preferred.) But then, my primary use case is storage management, which makes "fill first, then move on" the preferred default behavior.

Im working on a massive cleanup, as this was my first mod i didnt know everything before i started and cause of that the layout of the code is not like i want it to be, plan is to correct this and by doing that i will have a much better overview of what is doing what, easier debug, and adding new features will be a lot easier, if Thorough is not filling the first inventory first before moving on, that is a bug, i will add it to my list and i will make sure it all works when i do the cleanup, It will take some time, but my goal has always been to have a bug free mod.
So i promise you will get a fixed version soon
After the cleanup i will run it as a beta 2.0.x until i feel all problems is solved and it all works as expected.
In your pictures there is a machine filter tab, but I don't see one. (v 1.1.6) Also, you don't have anything listed in the Changelog for versions 1.1.5 and 1.1.6 so I can't even tell if you removed it or not.

The machine filter tab does not appear until and unless you install a machine filter upgrade.

1.1.5
Fixed issues with locked JABBA barrels causing duplication of items.
Gui will remember last selected tab.
Work on both 1.7.2 and 1.7.10
1.1.6
No change was just re uploaded as 1.1.6 cause curse had issues listing it as 1.7.10
Machine filter is not removed, you need to install the upgrade for it to work
I have a server running at tomsmc.playat.ch its running FTB Infinity 1.4.1 with Router Reborn added.
It's free to play on, no grief or stealing will be tolerated, survival mode (easy), Send me a private message on here with your in game name and i will whitelist you.
Server started a day ago so everyone will be at the same level more or less.
* Fixed problems with inventory stacklimit not being respected in some cases like the AE2 inscriber, causing it to insert to many items.
* Fixed stacklimit when using the bandwidth upgrade.
* Fix: Slot mode not working when set to output
* Fix: Inserting frames to Apiary (Forestry slot 9, 10, 11) is now working again.
Ejecting and outputting to buildcraft pipes added, keep in mind this can still contain some bugs, if you find any please report them on https://bitbucket.org/zyberwax/main/issues?status=new&status=open

I just finished doing Unity texture pack support for your mod.
Hope you like it!

I forgot to mention, you have permission to use these textures if you want, you can do whatever you want with them.
