Great new added commands for 2.0. The added arrow nuke command is very appreciated.
Few (actually, none that I know of) mods implemented this kind of maintenance outside of bukkit/feed the beast/etc servers, other than MCEdit and WorldEdit. And even then, those two map tools tend to nuke everything.
Im trying to make this tool to deal with real situations from experience. My experience and yours.
Your suggestion of removing arrows is good. After I released 2.0 i put this in my own server and found over 740 arrows in one place where it was laggy. Awesome! I nuked the arrows ofcourse. Thanks.

Curious to know what happens for 2.0.1! Also requesting support for 1.7.10 to continue, especially seeing as the majority of users haven't really upgraded to 1.8 yet.

Well, for 2.0.1 its the same as shown in post #20 with a few minor bugs cleaned up. The bugs do not affect functionality such as the report of how many animal types detected in range was off by 1 (oops). Also it refines the reporting of /listother and /listtiles showing better short names for the items being listed. Aparaently different mod authors have slightly different naming conventions. When I tested this in the Direwolf20 for Minecraft 1.7.10 mod pack, I discovered this and adaped the code to better parse the names. There were a number of minor code adjustments and small things like what part of the chat message to highlight etc. Misc stuff between version 2.0.0 and 2.0.1. Do see post #21 for the multiple new commands available in version 2.0.0. Also I have updated the commands list as displayed in blue in the first post on this thread.
As for continuing 1.7.10 support it is has been and will continue to be supported fully! I am fully with you on that one. Also note that the post above yours does show 1.7.10 in the list. No problem
As for 1.8, Yes I have this written for 1.8 as well for those who are getting into that. I dont know what commands are naturally available in 1.8 or even which game bugs have been fixed. But i figured it would be worth it to make this for that version as well for now.
At this moment I have all the code written and mostly tested for each version of minecraft on my list (1.6.4, 1.7.2, 1.7.10, and 1.8). My next steps are 1:derp check my code once. 2. recompile each version. 3. do a quick test of each version in both single and multiplayer. 4. release it to you and everyone here yea!
Well thats the plan.
"Plans rarely survive life." ... but its probable that this plan will work.
Thanks for your comments. I get so little feedback sometimes I wonder if this mod is really needed. lol. But I do look at the download count at least through adf.ly and it shows several a day. Feedback is good. thanks.
Mod Advice people told me that I'm allow to use any mods anywhere as long as I don't distribute, make money, etc you don't need permission. It can be used in the game series. That's what they told me
You could try uploading there if you're looking for more people to test out releases. It's usually the first place I go to. Navigating the forum threads is quite a feat compared to the streamlined modlist site.
i did a long time ago. But I forgot about the 1.8 list. It is on the 1.7.10 list. I will submit it to the 1.8 list soon. At the moment Im dedicating my uptime to fixing the bug and related things in SpawnCommands Teleport. Thank you. I appreciate your support.
Dude. this Mod Is Awesome. Theres A Bug With A Mod Called Advent Of Ascension Where A Certain Entity Spawns Infinity, No Spawn Requirements. But When I Found This Mod It Helped So Much With My Lag. Thanks
Awesome mod, very useful on my server! I do gave a request for this, would you be able to create a config for this mod where you can edit/set the values globally for all players or limit the max number of mobs or type of mobs in a defined radius? I was thinking something like:
_____________________________
# passive mob limits with radius of player
Player_radius:50
pig_limit:25
cow_limit:10
#Or
farmanimals_limit:100
_____________________________
and possibly something similar for aggressive mobs?
Let me know what you think
How would this change be used? example?
Would this be intended as a game cheat?
Would this event have to trigger every few seconds or what?
In the Macros / Keybinds Mod, I had bind a key to nuke all entities. Mwhahahah!

If I helped you in any way or agree in my ideas or posts, make sure you click that green arrow pointing up below my post or simply huggle me! I use 1.7.10 (Modded), so when I comment that I like a 1.8 mod, I will comment to downgrade to 1.7.10. I support no pics, no clicks. Suggestions that I think that are the best deserves a banner!
It is almost time to say goodbye to 1.7.10 because of the recent surge of big 1.9 mods.
Why MCreator sucks: jcm2606's file (doesn't open a new tab) He allows/welcomes anyone to link the file, so I put it here in my signature for people to know how MCreator functions. I thank jcm2606 (he's awesome) for creating the document/file and I'm just here to spread the word.

roflol. Cheater! lol. oh my. for the record Entity LagFix is meant to be a tool to help server operators. Along the way this has also been used to help the function of adventure maps.
I enjoy a good cheat game once in a while but It is not my intention to make this specifically support cheats. I have no problem if someone want to cheat as long as they are open about it. And im sure there are mods that are specifically for that. I don't even mind if you take the source code from this mod and create a whole new mod just for cheating. It's all about having fun. Right? Don't worry, be happy.
Small bug fix that won't affect most players. It was using player display name in one spot as opposed to player name.
The Entity LagFix for Minecraft 1.7.10 and 1.6.4 did not need this update.
Entity LagFix is a solution to a specific and common problem. Specifically this detects and removes excessive in-game entities such as thousands of dropped items in one place. And more... see the first post.
This mod is for Minecraft versions 1.8, 1.7.10, 1.7.2, and 1.6.4
Hi great mod but i was wondering is there any way to make the "/nukeitems" command run every 10 / 15 mins automatically with a warning message or something before it is run?
Ive been thinking about it. I am more thinking about the simplest best way to impliment this. I am not at all opposed to making this. It will likely be a very small but separate mod to do it on a timer. Im still figuring the details.
I will be releasing this for the other versions of Minecraft soon. (1.6.4 1.7.2 and 1.8)
New commands handle arrows, farm animals, and better displays of entity information.
See the post above this one and the first post in this thread for details.

I should have version 2.0.1 released for all these versions (1.8, 1.7.10, 1.7.2, & 1.6.4) of Minecraft in a few days.

May I have permission to use this mod?
Yes. Its free with credit where it is due.
Creative Commons Licenses are designed to help people get things free.
Not only is it free to use. You are free to distribute it. Modify it. And oddly even make money off it if you wish.
This even includes its open-source source code.
It can't get much more free.
The only requirement is to credit me where it is appropriate.
The first message in this thread says this and even has a link to the legal stuff.
Please do use it. I want people to benefit from it. But of course it is at your own risk.
So in short:
Yes.

I had forgotten about the Minecraft restrictions. That one does restrict selling it. Does anyone have a link to its license?
