You don't 'really' need pictures for such a simple mod. It works, no viruses,
"Kinda useless" ON ITS OWN... Picture this. You're on hardcore. You have mo creatures... EvilCraft... Archimedes ship mod... and a few lesser mods. You don't care to park your rear in one place the entire time and want to make an airship - a BIG airship. You need a LOT of string for air balloons for that. Oh, and where the heck are all the spiders when you need them? Nowhere to be found. But you can get wool anytime with all these sheep you keep finding absolutely EVERYWHERE... Gosh, I really wish Minecraft would allow me to get string from wool, not just wool from string.
Does THAT situation make the wool-to-string thing seem useless?
Also, I know I'm years behind this conversation, but not everyone can afford the luxury of internet access whenever they feel like it.
does this work on realms? I'm playing on a friend's realm and it's vanilla survival. The only real thing I have that would make it modded is that I'm using optifine but that's about it. And if it is applicable for realms would my friend have to bring it in or I can just download it and use it as is?

Can you please provide instructions on how to DOWNLOAD and how to INSTALL this mod?
When I clicked on the link it just brought me to a page SHOWING what the contents of the zip file were, but with no option to download it. I had to do a bunch of trial & error, fiddling around with stuff to figure out that it seems to require using Google Drive, which I've never used before, and using that requires using Chrome along with a 3rd party addon to extract zip files, then I ended up selecting all the contents of the mod & downloading them into a zip with a randomly generated filename that I had to rename into "wool_to_string.zip".
I then placed wool_to_string.zip in my mods folder and launched the game, and the mod does not work. I tried placing a block of white wool in every space in my crafting window, both from my character inventory screen and in a crafting table, and was never able to make string.
Which things did I do wrong?
How was I supposed to download the file? Is Google Drive required in order to download the mod, or is there a way to download it without using Google Drive? And how was it supposed to look on my computer once downloaded? Was I supposed to just put the downloaded file into the mods folder, or was I supposed to extract it?
Crafting recept(shapeless):
----> 4 String

do you really need a screenshot ? it's pretty obvious put a wool in crafting table and it will give you 4 wool
you can do this by using Crafting Manager Mod easily
people wont use without pics . . u could of just uploaded a virus or spyware and called it a mod.
i see now , my fault
Basically, converts white wool into 4 string.
Doesn't work with color wool.
Kinda useless, but helpful at the same time.

It's in the rules. Screenshot or video IS A MUST. Proof that this is what the author says it is.

Can confirm that this is legit.
Just paste the .zip in your mods folder, works for me 1.7.10 Thank you very much!
