Possibly building on this... does the miner dig up existing cobblestone (using fuel and wear on tools), to replace it with cobblestone, or is it intelligent enough to recognize its preferred "filler" and simply move on? And if it isn't that smart, I would like to put in a feature request to make it so.
Its not that intelligent I think. When I use it my output chest fills up with cobble that I have to feed back into it. And it also mines all the useless new type of stone that are part of 1.8.
I was trying to build a mob farm and it seems that the PA Killer is not doing the correct damage of the sword. It seems like its hitting without the sword (with hand). Also it doesnt pick up all the drops.....
Same issue for me. I was in creative testing swords, trying to figure out why I was only doing punches, with push. As I watched it kill the mob, no matter what level killer, or what type of sword, it always does a punch to the head on the mob.
Can we please get an upgrade that increases built in inventory space? Trying to have several different seeds causes overflow and makes me sad.
When you say "several different seeds" do you mean your placing more than one type of seed in the Planter? This option is not supported. I already asked about that.

There is current bug with version: 1.6.22. It crashes when I am trying to start a server with it installed while version: 1.6.21 works fine. Has something to do with net/minecraft/client/entity/EntityClientPlayerMP, I do not have the full crash log anymore. Should be able to easily reproduce the crash.

How does one input axes into a chopper without it going into the output side?
I've always used a hopper pointed to the side of the Chopper, and it has worked just fine for me. This is with Minecraft 1.8 though, and in 1.7.10 things might be different.

Love this mod, Simple and seems to be well balanced with the need to use upgrades and tiered machines. Just maybe one request? Add the ability maybe to add sheers to the chopper to collect leaves. Or maybe a upgrade will do this and I have not used it yet? Any thoughts?

I also would like to have an optional slot in the Chopper for shears, maybe at the iron tier and higher.
An upgrade that changed the "filler block" (which is cobblestone by default) in the Miner would also be awesome. A different upgrade per block (maybe a standard crafting recipe with the center spot reserved for the new filler block) maybe?
Another (expensive) upgrade for the Miner that removes the filler block completely (replace with air blocks)?
while on the subject of machine inventories, would it be too much to ask for slots to reject (impossible to shift click into) invalid items, shovel in pickaxe only spot, etc etc?

Awesome. If your really rich in ur world, you can lay back, while da machines do it for you!
true, but honestly at that point these machines get too expensive to continue using/upgrading compared to other mods solutions.

I have a quick question/suggestion. I am really, really enjoying this mod. I'm playing FtB Horizons: Daybreaker (1.7.10). Attached are pictures of the overground and underground of my fully automated and self-contained tree farm.
With my tree farm fully automated, I started on my cow farm. I crafted a pair of Killers and two pairs of those complementary upgrades (Animal and Adult). I added one of each of the upgrades to one of my Killers when I was suddenly set upon by a horde of angry mobs. Then I noticed some endermen in the distance so I went after them because I need pearls. Fully distracted, I went back to my cow farm. I completely forgot which of the Killers I had added the upgrades to. I broke the Killers to retrieve the upgrades. So my question is this: Is there a way to know, via some GUI perhaps, which upgrades or how many upgrades are in a Progressive Automation machine without breaking the machine? If not, I suggest it. Thank you for coding this very fun mod!

Now the whole world stands on the brink, staring down into bloody hell. All those liberals and intellectuals and smooth talkers - and all of a sudden, nobody can think of anything to say.
I am playing FtB Horizons: Daybreaker v1.02 which by default uses ProgressiveAutomation-1.7.10-1.6.16. That is the version of Progressive Automation I was using until just a moment ago when I tried to input wheat to an Animal Breeder and realized that nothing (not a vanilla hopper attached to any side of the Breeder, not an Extra Utilities transfer pipe, not a Mekanism's advanced logistical transporter pipe) would insert the wheat into the Breeder. Up until now, I had already built a fully self-contained Progressive Automation tree farm and wheat farm. What I mean is, and this is the point of this post, that I was using Mekanism's logistical transport pipes attached to the bottom of Progressive Automation's Crafter because that seemed to be the only way to ensure that only the crafted item would be pulled out and not either the fuel or crafting ingredients. Also, I had used both Mekanism's logistical transport pipes attached to the sides of Crafters to pump recipe items in, and I had used Extra Utilities transfer pipes attached to the sides of Breeders to pump tools in. Until now, everything pumped into Progressive Automation machines seemed to know where it was meant to go.
Then I got to the point in the build where I was going to pump wheat into the Breeders (to close the circle on the fully self-contained animal breeding farm). Nothing I tried was successful in pumping items into the Breeder. I looked to the Github to see if there was an update for Progressive Automation. I saw ProgressiveAutomation-1.7.10-1.6.24 was recently released so I downloaded it and installed it. Now, my Progressive Automation machines are not filling up as before. The machines no longer seem to know where items are supposed to go. When I pump a hoe into a Planter, the first hoe goes into the tool slot, but now the pipes no longer think the machine is full, so more hoes are pumped in and fill the Planter's inventory slots. The same thing happened to the Chopper. Prior to updating, I had an Extra Utilities transfer pipe pumping axes into the side of the Chopper. The transfer pipe would stop pumping the moment there was an axe in the Chopper's tool slot. Now after updating, the Chopper's tool slot fills with one axe but then continues to fill its inventory slots with axes. Also, I still do not see a way to get wheat to pump into the "tool" slot of the Breeder. Wheat pumped into the Breeder seems to only go into the inventory slot.
Perhaps there is a simple fix: Add another setting to the wrench. The wrench already has a setting for "Fuel Input" and "Input". Maybe adding a setting "Tool Input" would solve these problems.

VERY low power if you spend all those diamonds...

1.7 - Miner & Chopper - using hoppers to add tools = not working?
1.8 - Miner & Chopper - using hoppers to add tools = working
And I correct?
Adding Cobbelstone works in both 1.7 and 1.8

Another (expensive) upgrade for the Miner that removes the filler block completely (replace with air blocks)?
while on the subject of machine inventories, would it be too much to ask for slots to reject (impossible to shift click into) invalid items, shovel in pickaxe only spot, etc etc?

Perhaps there is a simple fix: Add another setting to the wrench. The wrench already has a setting for "Fuel Input" and "Input". Maybe adding a setting "Tool Input" would solve these problems.
