I wonder when Oli will be back on. He hasn't been on twitter at all and hasn't been on since the 12th. Probably just some irl stuff that's bothering him
Indeed, I'm starting to get worried for him as well
Looks like a very interesting mod. Did you base the concept off something, or was it made out of pure creativity? Regardless, it looks like quite a bit of work was put into it. Nice job, and keep up the good work!
It's sad that the old version never was finished and released, the only thing that prevented us from releasing a first non dev version was the huge amount of bugs and the lack of features for survival (even though it already had a lot of content). And afaik it's there's nothing going on with the reboot either. Haven't seen Oli in skype for a long time (probably over a month) and the AP chat on skype is pretty much dead, at least I can't see anything about the Betweenlands. Oh well, I still hope that the new team continues working on the mod again and can release it at some point.
Also, the old source is still somewhere around on dropbox, maybe one day someone can fix all those old bugs and the lack of features for survival and release it as I honestly don't think this mod, especially the reebot, will be continued (even though I totally hope it should be continued).

Yeah, it's sad and was unexpected. I think the few of us that snagged a dev copy early on are going to be the only ones who have experienced a functional(mostly) Prime Wight boss fight, and the other wonders that were currently in the mod.

Sad indeed, it seemed as if MrCompost had suddenly just given up on it, never looking back.
Pretty much the mean reason imo was that the project turned out too big. At the beginning it all worked out fine and it was fun to work on the project, but once the mod was already pretty big developement went down. I don't want to talk bad about AP, because I blame myself too for not showing up enough, but there was almost no developement going on for a pretty long time before the reboot. For a short time there was some developement again with those awesome stalactites and stalagmites and better caves. And even though more and more really good modders joined the group we made a little bit progress and then it went down again. I enjoyed working with the AP team, it was a lot of fun and hopefully the chat will live again when Oli is back, but at the moment the team seems to be dead unfortunately.
It's just that MrCompost seems to have disappeared. When he reappears, the only thing that could mean that this has stopped would be him saying that he wants it stopped, which I'm sure won't happen.
While I hope that he'll come back and continue, I have my doubts. He himself has admitted that he doesn't like modding anymore and he once even said he'd hate it, which makes me think that making a reboot is totally silly. If he really doesn't like modding anymore, he shouldn't do it anymore or take a break of it, continuing will just make it even worse. Not sure if those words can be take serious or if he just said that because he was stressed or something else, I can't judge that. That all may sound rude, but it's pretty much the truth and it would be best if Oli would clear this up instead of just dissapearing (which he obviously didn't really do because he was last active on here today, but on skype I didn't see him for at least two months or at least posting something on here). I still hope that he'll come back and continue this project if he still likes doing so and if not at least clear this up.
Well, he does generally seem cheerful on the chat when he's on, and when there's progress on the mod he seems to be happy about that, so fingers crossed!
That's true, but to me it just looks like he's trying to avoid the mod because he was online today but didn't post here anything or wasn't online on skype for a long time. Of course he doesn't have to post every time he is online, but at least once a month would be helpful and some instructions over skype to his team too
indeed !
3 great mods !
you forgot some mods that pretty much edit mob behaviour, such as animals trying ti=o jump over fences, or glitches...etc
MC 3.0 : 20 years in the future !?
Yes...because saying 'Release it' magically makes it done, right? It's still not in a functional state.
Patience is a virtue.

True I suppose, but he hasn't posted or done anything else
Not to mention it's still 6 days in the past.
I think he's grown tired of the fact that this has all grown into more work than it should have been. It's not easy to make a team actually function.
That's a possibility. He could've just quit due to the amount of work and stress it takes. I thought the team was finally moving and working however?
Nothing has been done towards the mod in almost a month and a half.
Really? Huh, guess it was because I was surprised that the team was finally working faster, with the Druid Circles and stuff.
