Sorry, but that's the last time we're ever setting deadlines. They've just never worked out for us. If you want to check for progress, keep an eye on the Git repository. There you can see all the commits that we make as well as our rough to do list. As things get ticked off, you'll be able to tell how close it's getting.
I have a question, can you equip boat's with lanterns? And also, are there different types of fish for fishing? (This is becoming the most unique and awesome dimension mod, i have ever seen! )

Yes, we had the idea of putting lanterns on boats
Not sure if it will come with the first release though, we'll see. I'd love to do a lot more with boats eventually.
We have some more fish planned, although we never really looked into fishing. We might want to do that for a future update
Can someone release an official version? D: the other things should be added in a future updated release, but it'd nice to have a "first" release now

We just stopped the daily build to provide more new content at the first release

Also, I'm having a problem, devs. In this page on the wiki, it states on how to get the most current version via the complicated way, I'm having a problem on step 3, as It states,
"Type cd into the command prompt, press space, and then type after it the next file location to navigate to the folder that contains the gradlew.bat file."
Yeah, I don't really know what to type after "cd ", and I'm wondering if I can get help with that, or a video. It would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Ok so what's easier is this:
After unzipping the BL download, you get a folder named The-Betweenlands-master. Open it and shift right click on the folder (also named The-Betweenlands-master) inside. There should be an option to open command prompt there, just click on that and then you have your file location. Then type 'gradlew build' after the line in your command prompt, press enter, and done.
The universal .jar should end up in build>libs
To be honest, it will take a loooooooong time before this is finished. We plan to release soon, but there is a ton of planned content we havent added yet, so we will keep updating this first I guess.
We've actually discussed that a few times. If people actually want to give money to support us then that'd be awesome, but we'd have to figure out how to split it between us.
We figured donations go to the team, because people do that to support us for our work.
But we'd like to use profit gained through downloads (like curse forge) for charity. Set up some sort of monthly poll to choose different charities
This is seriously the best mod out there. Secrets or no secrets I cant wait for the official release!
