Hi, I love the work you're doing with this mod; it looks like it has a lot of potential!
Unfortunately we found an issue with using shader packs. None of them work properly while running this mod.
Depending on the shader pack we see issues like water having no texture (just a solid light blue), the bottom half of the screen being completely grayed out, and no shadows.
Here are the versions of applicable mods we're using (so you can reproduce what we're seeing)

Do the configs have to be set server side or can they be modified client side?
It depends on what you're changing. The settings from the "general" and "rendering" categories only affect the client. The settings in "world and dimension" affect both the client and the server so it's best if the client and sever have the same settings there.

Hey, I'm here with another question, do you plan on adding a Progression System kinda like the Twilight Forest's? Because if so, that would be pretty splendid.
I continuously see crash reports and bug reports... but how can there be crash and bug reports when there isn't a version out yet? If there is one out.. I can't seem to find the link.. PLZ HELP THIS LOOKS SOOOO PROMISING

Seems to be correct. I'll look into it when I have time.
Thanks for looking into it
I also just discovered another bug:
I'm unable to mine any blocks while completely submerged in water, in the overworld. All tools have no effect (even the Betweenlands tools). Again, removing this mod fixes the issue.

That's already fixed. The last dev build was quite a while ago.
How exactly did you guys get coders?
I am looking for a coder to help me create a mod!

Shaderpacks that i've tried, with issues
Without this mod installed, all shader packs work without any issues
Disable shaders in the betweenlands config. That should fix it, but you won't be able to see some of the special effects of the mod.
Hey guys how do i download this mod? I cant find the link anywhere.
Thanks for the quick response, but unfortunately, that didn't do anything.
Hmm that has worked for other players though, could you upload your betweenlands config so I can have a look?
Do the configs have to be set server side or can they be modified client side?

Check out my WIP map project:
http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding/maps/wip-maps/2464020-vanilla-stranded-one-man-one-ship-a-star-ship
Please put crash logs into a spoiler.
This seems to be a vanilla (or forge) bug. Apparently it's also happening without the BL mod installed. Lowering the view distance usually fixes this.
Thanks for looking into it
I also just discovered another bug:

Hmm... i installed optifine and it worked
That's probably because Optifine fixes a bunch of bugs/problems that vanilla has.
