Yea well the problem is i just dont get a crashlog output.. I tried so many times. The only thing it states before crashing is "Tried to cancel a non cancelable event". As far as i know, betweenlands has its own ambience music and the ambience mod tries to play its own ambience in the betweenlands. I figured, there is no way for the guys here to fix this so i just uninstalled ambience.

Good call, you're probably right.

This has got to be one of the most imersive mods I've ever played. Seriously, this is great.
My only complaint is that it can be exceptionally hard to find the dark druids to begin with, especially when used in conjunction with Biomes 'o' Plenty or other mods that add extra biomes, because they seem to only spawn in vanilla swamps, which are all but nonexistent when BOP is activated. Perhaps adding a config option where you can add additional biome types they spawn in would make it a lot easier. I spent about 6 (real time) days looking around in a BOP world and couldn't find any druids anywhere, so after covering about a 15,000 x 15,000 diameter area with no luck, had to hack in a swamp talisman to get started. Have not found any real issues other than that, dimension is excellent, seems to be pretty much lag free, and the ecosystem there is well balanced. I might suggest applying some sort of rot to vanilla blocks brought in from the overworld after placement if they do not have a native crafting recipe/equivalent to further reinforce using the mod specific content. It would be pretty neat/relative to see oakwood planks, glass, bricks, dirt, stone, etc start to decay over time when placed in the betweenlands, and it would be in keeping with this mod if you were to build a vanilla block based house and watch it start to decay over a few days until it is basically a pile of rubble and rotten wood. Vanilla boats should also degrade quickly in the betweenlands water if placed. I pulled one in from the transmutation table in Project E and was able to sail around the whole dimension without issue, despite that boats in the betweenlands have some setup required to craft, and allowing this seems to break the intended progression a bit. If that becomes a thing, it should probably ignore other mod content or have a blacklist/whitelist to handle it, as there are a lot of other mod items/blocks this may not necessarily apply to that have no equivalent alternative. Might also be nice to see some predatory plants, like a giant venus flytrap, or cave roots that try to snare you and drag you up into the ceiling and suffocate you, or an underwater equivalent that tries to drown you, or perhaps some kind of pollen that is extremely toxic and gets secreted by certain plants, and drifts around like particle entities and causes some kind of status effect if you breathe it, though I don't imagine that last one would be super easy to code. These are just suggestions, the only one that I feel should definitely be addressed is the druid issue. This is a great mod and it would be a shame not to experience it because it's impossible to find the swamp talisman in some circumstances. Perhaps an alternative would be making it also optionally rare dungeon loot, or have a very small chance of finding a portal tree already existing. The other suggestions might add additional depth to this already great mod, but I do not consider them to be bugs.
Haven't checked this forum page in a while, but everything seems to be going good! I think this might actually be getting more activity then the Discord channel!
Does 2.0.4 fix the "feet leeches" bug? It's extremely annoying to have a leech latch onto your feet and stay there for a while, because the actual leech, after it has had its fill, it turns invisible and impossible to hit to the player whom the leech latched onto. As you can imagine, this is a very troublesome bug, as you have invisible leeches and no way of knowing where they are!
Compiles, loads (into the betweenlands too). Has some issue: runaway worldgen (not my fault I think), some missingno on horizontal logs (fixed), I probably broke something with inventory, ie that's where I'd scrutinize heavily. But maybe you can use it as a base to get an official 1.11.2 out, for those of us who miss having a bunch of dimension mods on the same MC version
Fantastic mod so far, I've been enjoying myself though I am pretty early on in the progression.
My only complaint is that your Decay can deplete while completely idle. I understand the concept is that the air is rotting you from the inside out, but that same fantasy can be achieved by aggressive tuning on decaying while actually performing actions. Rather than add to the survival experience, it compels me to stay focused on the game even during quieter periods when I would otherwise be responding to messages or such on my other screen. So, instead, I just find myself frequently logging out for those short few minutes, over and over again. I even did that just to respond to this post.
A mechanic that can be circumvented by regularly logging out whenever my attention is briefly brought elsewhere is neither fun nor engaging, and does nothing more than interrupt the immersive experience. Gameplay should trump story, especially when speaking of a mechanic that is crippling for people who like to mix the creative building experience with the survival elements; I feel much less inclined to build anything noteworthy here than I originally did, because just sitting in my house will drain my decay. Instead I plan to just take it all back to the overworld despite vastly preferring the atmosphere and aesthetic of the dimension.
Even just a config option would be great, if you don't want to make it the default.
The latest one. It never lagged in 1.7.10.
The sadness that occures when this mod crashes and you never get to experience that of which is the between lands

Your right. He does need a crash report. Just agreeing with you.
also, does he have any mods WITH the betweenlands. That's a start.
Using the betweenlands and the ambience mod crashes the game..
Give us a crash log. We might be able to help.

Will this mod ever be updated to 1.11 or 1.12? Or, if it takes a while to update, perhaps even 1.13 or 1.14?
Hopefully I'll have some time soon after my exams are over. We'll probably skip 1.11 and go straight to 1.12.
Also, version 2.0.4 is now available! It doesn't change much, but it fixes the green flame paricles and some other problems
I do bugfixes too. Heh. Skip 1.11 is a tough choice.
Then I don't know then. Sorry

1.7.10 version have troubles with OptiFine 1.7.10 HD U D8
Yep I think they said something about incompatibility with Optifine and The BetweenLands.
D6 verison has no problems with this mod. But since D7 version optifine developers added support for shaders from 1.8.8 HD U F2

would love 1.11.2, as that is the MC version that has current Aether and Twilight Forest dev ongoing.
To put my money where my mouth is, I cloned your repo and updated it to 1.11.2. It's here: https://github.com/MamiyaOtaru/The-Betweenlands/tree/1.11.2
