I'm sorry I'm confused. The post above mine is a link to a 1.8 jar and doesn't really say much of anything. I'm using 1.7.10 and it worked in single player, but doesn't seem to when using server (I don't use connect via LAN as that has some issues so I run a server instance).
if its local (only for people in your house) then get players to connect to you through lan k
Is this replying to my question?
If so, is it possible without that? We run a server so others can connect remotely (not often) as we mostly play here but I have had problems with LAN mode so we stopped using it. (It's slower, doesn't support skins, and a few other issues I can't remember off hand).

On that server you can find versions of world edit that will run on a forge server:
try using schematica mod then move the schematic file into world edits folder after saving it but im not sure if it works and you might have to change the file type (like .zip to .rar or .jar stuff like that changing the filetype to the one worldedit uses k)

Everyone has O.C.D. and A.D.H.D. and Autism and so on its just a matter of how much that makes people say you have it...
I have all 3 where people will say i have them... people hate on me for it...
Heres more accurate explanations of each:
O.C.D. makes you hate not symmetrical things if you have alot and youll tend to repeat things in a specific pattern and hate slight change...
A.D.H.D. makes you be extremely into one specific thing while also connecting things like a cat to radiation...
Autism is literally a label that people use as insults to people who are really good at math and science related things and love those things...

I too am having crashes when I try to open a world, including new worlds created from the liteloader profile. Here's a log.
EDIT: I figured out the problem. I've already ran the client in 1.8.6 and had the render distance set to 32 chunks, which apparently wasn't supported by 1.7.10. Putting it down to 10 chunks has fixed the problem. Give this a try if any of you have this same issue.

Quote from J087 jump
I just spend 15 minutes "researching" this thread. Yet not a single word was said towards the existence of the supposed "Beta 1.8.0" version. Everything that refers to 1.8 is either liteloader or macro keybinding. If you are eager to get rid of the bugs in 1.8, and are eager to release a stable non-beta version, you should share it with more people.
1.8 and 1.8.0 are different sides of the same coin! Some Modders add the 0, some do not! MC itself ignores the 0.
If you actually read you'll find a link to 1.8 (or 1.8.0) does exist. Mr Mumfrey; thinks if you aren't capable of finding the link you also won't be willing to ignore that it is a beta, and will hound him with meaningless error reports.

How do I change the .zip file to a .litemod file?
Rename it
To .litemod
Like them? Post on them! Say your opinion, or suggest more features!
I think you just change the .zip to .litemod
If you downloaded a .zip though, it's probably <filename>.litemod.zip. If its not, something's wrong. Maybe you downloaded the forge one?

What is the difference between World Edit and World Edit Wrapper?
WorldEditWrapper is a LiteLoader mod by Mumfrey that allows WorldEdit to be used in singleplayer. It includes WorldEdit.
WorldEdit is a multi-platform mod, which has been available for servers for some time, and recently also for Forge.
