Known Issues:
1. The Chat windows is partially obscured by the HUD overlay. (Looking into ways to fix this. May have to move the chat windows)

Even through i never played Halo, this is amazing. Just asking, but this radar on the bottom left is functional ?
Oops forgot to add the Planned features section to my post. The radar does not currently work but it should in the next version. (The radar and a headlamp + "night vision".)
New version dropping tomorrow!
Now includes Motion tracker functionality and a new and improved HUD overlay!
Also the various displays, hunger, breath, and armor, have been tweaked!

Decided to look through your mods zip file and noticed alot of unused textures, then I realised where from. You built this mod off of the http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1986392-162-minecraft-combat-evolved-a-new-halo-mod/ mod if I am not mistaken. Not that theres anything wrong with that but could you please cleanup the file? I feel as if your mod is taking more strain on my poor computer cause of it
Edit: Nvm it just makes it feel cluttered, you can easily delete the files without it affecting the mod. Still weird framerate drop when using though. Maybe old code still in use or radar problem?
Edit X2: Ok so if left in zip creates a weird mouse lag, to fix just make it a jar for anyone feeling the problem like I did

I took a look through my zip folder and I feel like a complete derp now... My mod wasn't built off of the Minecraft: Combat Evolved Mod. (I did take a look at the source code to learn some stuff about the radar)
Anyways as a side project I was trying to update Combat evolved mod to 1.7.2. (For personal use, redistributing is a **** move) Anyways I was using the same eclipse workspace and when I went and compiled my mod for distribution I forgot to remove the textures from the file.

Also the next version will also have a jar distribution method if you prefer.
Perhaps instead of just having the HUD overlay, you should make spartan helmet (and maybe full body armor) that only when you put on the helmet you see the HUD
Im actually working on a full blown halo mod, with guns, armors, custom player models (Spartans and elites), xbox controller support, the whole nine yards...

Oh that sounds awesome!
Is there already a forum up for it?

Are you going to post a link here?
I don't have a forum post yet or any screenshots. It's not too far in development yet. I've only got the HUD (obviously) and the Xbox controller working. I should have the guns working soon.

HUM!!! doesn't work for me but I have forge but it says FML has found a non-mod file haloHUD v1.3.0.jar in your mods directory. It will now be injected into your classpath. This could severe stability issues, it should be removed if possible.

Awesome mod man! I really like how we can use either build of the mod as some like the percentage and others like the bar.
Thanks for the awesome video! I put it in my post at the top.
I removed the version 1.0 download links but i'll re-add them in a spoiler section if anyone wants to use them.
In the next version I may include a way to switch between percentage and bar views for the breath, hunger and air.
