I need help! My Minecraft keeps crashing when I install chocapic's shaders even on the LOW version. Keeps on giving error on the amd driver. What can I do?
Possess idea if you are working on this shader, can you really add a feature in order that any time another player retains the flashlight this lights up the area close to that individual?
Hey! Awesome shaderpack man! Just one thing! Medium seems to run fine for me (since my laptop isnt the best) but when i put on Low (because i want more fps) I actually get like 0-3 fps Any help?
Is it with v4 or the v5 beta versions? I noticed this can happen depending on the gpu for v4 version.
please please PLEASE make the v5 higher packs available on mac and please do not bring back the flashing chunk glitch!!!
It can't run on macs because bloom code uses an extension not available on macs (it's available for windows drivers since over 10years). Without it it would run really slowly even on beefy gpus or bloom would look really grainy. You can still increase quality into shaders files.

What is precisely your gpu and which version of my shaders are you trying to use (v5 test or v4)?

CHOCAPIC take a look at when you hold a torch underwater in v5 it is so beutiful please somehow put this in the official version!!! maybe at night time or similiar...

i have 1 problem i have gone to the final.fsh file in textedit and activated DOF it works really well its just that my items aren't in the focus so they are faded (what I'm holding) is there a fix for this?

This is not a bug, it's a feature. And I don't think there's a way to turn that off.
thanks I've turned of DOF but activated distant blur to replace fog (as shaders does not have that) *back to bump mapping* so all i need to do is download a bump map texture pack? or is there something else i need?

Oh ok I have been testing v5 medium for a while now on my Mac it's really nice, few tips: holding a torch underwater gives of a really nice colour you might do something with that. Add depth of field as it is extremly realistic and not power intensive at all (maybe not use the current v5 dof as the items are out of focus) (*there blurry*) oh and add bump mapping compatability... All of these suggestions are NOT frame taking maybe 1 but thats not much. :).
Oh and at night strange things appear in the sky like floaring caves apart from that it's lovely please use these recommendations

I found a bug, Chocapic! I am on Mac, running OSX Yosemite, Minecraft 1.7.10 Forge with shaders, optifine, throwable bricks, flans mod, archimedes ships mod, and camera studio mod. Every time I use these in any dimension... this happens: I can't really get a screenshot of it, because it only happens for a brief split-second, but blocks within my render distance lose triangle shaped parts of their texture and become invisible, showing caves & everything else underneath. I would estimate that they are within 1 to 10 blocks of each other. Also, when I'm in the nether, this happens. Ignore the wierd lava, that was worldedit and chunks not loading, but the light in the center is strange. Should it be there?
I don't know what's happening there with the overworld, but that bug in the nether is something that happens with all shaderpacks. Basically, the shaders mod renders the sun and any sun effects in the nether (such as lens flare or shadows). This I believe is part of the shaders mod core and cannot be fixed.
-Color tweaks (slightly more saturated colors and less orange-ish torch light)
-Lots of tweaks on lite version
-Bloom looks more natural
-Adjusted shadow depth bias specifically for each version : shadows do not longer look distant from blocks; fixed shadow acne on water.
-Hold map issue should be fixed
-Probably other little adjustements
-Still no bumpmap/pom/speculars if you want to try check 4.10/4.9 on older versions folder. DoF is off by default because a lot of people don't like the look

Nether and ender don't look great because the shadermod can't recognize in which kind of world the player is currently so i can't create a custom shading for these worlds, just swap to default shader when you are in the nether/ender. For flashing triangles glitch it seems to be fixed in V5test versions (I still have no idea what is causing this).

My gpu is AMD Radeon HD 7570M and I am using v4.
