Hi @chocapic13! Thank you very much for your work! I've been using your shaders for years now and recently I returned to Minecraft and use them again.
I have a few remarks about V6 and V7. To me V7 is too bland compared to V6, it somehow seems to lose the unique character of your shaders, world looks more pale, but it's definitely not bad. What I love about your shaders (V6) is DOF - will you be adding it in V7 too? I really love this feature. Also, if I may suggest something (I know it's not easy to add such things), but there are only 2 things, that, IMO, SEUS Renewed v 1.0.0 does better: water ("depth fog" + sun/moonlight effects) and Global Illumination. Are you considering including such effects in V7?
Cheers and thanks for the great work again! I hope my post doesn't sound too whiney - I really love your shaders and I'm using V6 Extreme right now :-)
There seems to be some compatibility issues with LibrarianLib or Forgelin because I have some mods that are dependent on those and when I use the shaders everything is black. When I take out those mods the shaders work fine(actually no matter what mods I have installed I still get flickering clouds fyi..) but the mods run fine without the shaders, I just can't use them at the same time as these shaders
V7 Ultra looks and runs great. It is easily one the best shaderpacks I have ever used.
However, I think Ultra RC1 looks much better than Ultra Alpha1 in some areas. Comparison
In my opinion, Alpha1 looks a lot duller. Also, the dynamic exposure (is that what it's called?) is much more annoying in Alpha1. In RC1, the exposure doesn't change much when I look up in-game, but in Alpha1, the sky becomes much darker. Sky darkening in Alpha1
I understand that you probably made most of these changes for a reason, but I'd love if there was a way to:
- disable the dynamic exposure, or at least reduce it to the way it was in rc1
- bring back the fog from rc1
Sorry if this post sounds a bit rude. Your shaders are amazing
edit: screenshots were taken using a slightly modified version of rc1 with the lens flare removed
this shader looks amazing but i have a few suggestions when it is raining it is a little bit too dark so maybe in v8 you could make it lighter, you should also add reflections on the ground when it rain that form puddles, you should also make the night a little bit darker to
Seems like those computer/laptop specs would suffice. If lags occur, enable VBOs, Smooth FPS, disable VSync, and try to play around with Render Distance.
1 bug to report. Sometimes when im mining blocks underground, the stuff thats left over when block is destroyed (cant think of the term) will show up as if they are lit up when there is no other light source around. I cant screen shot it quick enough because it happens so fast. Other than this, i LOVE the shader and thank you for updating it.
I dont like that it changes stained glass to that weird ice texture just leave it normal. You cant override it with a resource pack which is more annoying. but other than that its good.
I was just about to ask about that stained glass glare too. Is it possible to modify/remove a part of the code for personal use on that part? Clear glass looks good but the stained glass looks milky, especially annoying with texturepacks. That's the only thing that bothers me too. Otherwise these shaders are just perfect and beautiful without performance drop, thanks a lot!
I like water effect of v6 pack, can you get it back? I think water of v7 is so flat...thanks
@chocapic13
No way for v6?

Is there a mirror for V7? These ouo links refuse to open in Chrome for me.

Hey guys i've replaced the ouo links by adfoc.us ones. I'm taking in account your remarks and i will probably add a saturation boost option.
What settings would you recommend to me, if I wanna stay above 60 FPS?

Hey running V7Low and Lite on intel gpu. Look pretty good, but when looking at a map in the hand it is all washed out and unreadable.
is there a way to get one of the versions to work with Albedo mod? preferable V6

I keep getting OpenGL errors, my screen is black & animals flicker. I know its a mod conflict but I cant figure out which mod.
