if we just import the skeleton that have back bone to the model that i want will it replace the skeleton of the model that i want?
+ i want to add item skeleton for the hand too, cuz i found modern warfare mod and i think is cool if i use it with this mod.
The Items-skeleton only contains the bones for items in the hands, the item on the back, and a first person view bone for the camera to use.
There is 1 other bone, but that is only to "center" the other bones. It should have the same name on 99% MMD models so if it so as long as you tick the adapt bones with same names. you should be fine, just like i show in the video.
I tested some other mod that could have guns in minecraft, can't remember what it was called, but that didn't work very well. The guns wasn't placed properly in the hands. And it didn't sit right on the back. This comment

Also, keep in mind it looks like he/she is using it in the experimental Ray-Tracing for the RTX from SEUS shaders. That is super graphics intensive. If you don't have an RTX, just hope CustomSteve 1.12.2 works without shaders.
Anyone with model questions, don't forget there is 50 pages of content to read through for answers. I've talked about my experiences in getting models to work before. About how to get armors to work, items to appear in the right spots etc. Another tip I have mentioned is if a model has black textures, try changing the file's format. For example .dds to .png and vice versa. It helps sometimes. I know @ici2cc's Saber Lily model didn't work at first until I did that. Sometimes resolution can be an issue. Don't forget to change the reference to those textures on the model in PmxEditor of course. Make sure all file paths are correct. Sometimes the Japanese on a model gets changed to a garbled mess because of Zip.
To get the Camera to move in a dance animation, make sure the animation has an associated camera animation with the same name with an additional _Camera at the end. Example: ApplePie.vmd and ApplePie_Camera.vmd. Keep in mind you need to be in 3rd person I think to see it working. Sometimes, they just don't work, and that could be an issue with the way CustomSteve handles .vmd.
Remember the 1.7 version doesn't support Optifine or shaders. They will not work with Optifine installed. Even 1.10 throws fits sometimes with Optifine and shaders. It is really random sometimes.
Also, some model creators have the model's extension as .Pmx, which CustomSteve won't catch. It must be .pmx to work.

Sound exactly what i wrote about above.
First, you can't have optifine, this breaks that firstperson view mode.
Remove Optifine or disable the jar file by renaming it to "OptiFine_1.10.2_HD_U_E7.jar.disable"
Then in the game, press K for the CustomSteve Menu.
Click the Config button.
Set the FPV to "off"
Remember to click "Save" if you want to keep it like this.
Next time you load the game, you won't see the model until it loads. Either by opening your Inventory "E" or pressing the K or F5 buttons.
how do you make it work with multiplayer? for the last few days me and my friend have been playing together and we cannot see each other's model. We have all the exact same version of the mod and version of the game and i still cant see her model.

Make sure to have all models available on the clients that connects or you will not see the other players models. I recommend models with very little physics.
I have made a item skeleton that you can import on to models that has the "back" bone that enables that.
You can find it in the description of the videos i have linked previously in this thread.
But here is how to.
Well to be fair i didn't make it, i just extracted it from the Sakura model that came with the mod version 1.10.2.
So it could be made into a "easy import" on other models.

You can solve this by changing your system locals to japanese.
I think I downloaded an emulator for this purpose.
Looks like Optifine breaks that first person view that is in the customsteve mod.
well version OptiFine_1.10.2_HD_U_E7.jar does.

Which version did you have ? because i wasn't 100% sure which version of MC and optifine it applies to.
Too lazy to test them all.
