question:
whether it added to the replacement of conventional sand on its different types? in real life the composition of the sand depends on the location and origin.
This is an early beta and has not yet been thoroughly tested. Only 16x textures are currently available. Ore ubification is not consistent - this is probably related to old MC timing issues and will be fixed. Not all buildings and parts of buildings get converted to UB cobble and this may not be fixable due to internal changes in Minecraft. But, the building options and varied landscapes UBC creates are back!

I've attached an fml log file from trying to run a forge server with UBC beta 3. It starts up OK and I can then connect to the server to play (and I see UBC stones and ores, looks and plays fine).
When I then go to stop the server (/stop command), I get an error. The world is then unplayable and can't be restarted (I get an error starting up and I've had to delete the world and start over). I originally had this with forge 2099, then upped it to 2151 just to see what might happen
I thought it was a bit odd as well, but you can't argue software out of an attitude. I tried, no avail.
Your beta4 version, however, did take care of the problem. I'm off to play it for a while. Thx.
Just as a side note related to the unexpected call of the erroring routine, the last message that is logged on a server stop is "[09:11:24] [Server thread/INFO] [Underground Biomes]: [UndergroundBiomes] Server Loaded". May give you some insight into the situation.
Is there something currently broken with UBified ores? First of all, when I mine an UB ore, I get the UB stone version of that ore, e.g. "Chert Iron Ore" rather than just the generic MC Iron Ore. I've been away from MC for awhile, but I don't remember this being the original behavior. It's a problem because the ores don't get recognized by anything other than the vanilla furnace. What am I missing?
EDIT: I've come up with a workaround for now using CraftTweaker for anyone with the same issue. It just adds a bunch of recipes for converting ores 1:1.
EDIT 2: Because I'm having fun, added Ore Dictionary entries, too.
Hi, it seems that UBC stone made walls only give 1 instead of 6 pieces. That is bug? So normal 3x2 grid of anytype of UBC cobble/stone/brick
yields only one piece of wall. You cant put torches on wall too. Thanks for a great mod! Cant play without it cause used to it =) We use MC
1.10.2 server with our own mod pack.
Yes, it's a bug. I'd already have a fix for it out but a problem has come up with the stairs, which are not consistently rendering as upside down when they should.

UBC for 1.10 updated with fixed for stairs and walls recipes quantities, for torches on walls, and for lapis drops.
There is a problem with upside-down stairs: they display as normal stairs except for some east-facing stairs. This appears to be a json problem and is proving difficult to fix.

Thank you for fast fix =) Wife is happy with her fences again. Lapis is important now for enchanting.. Nice to get that instead of inc sacks. Inc sacks still goes to Forestrys mining bag, I guess item is right but it still thinks its ore.
Edit: Am I missing something in config cause you cant craft pick axes etc. from UBC gobblestones?
Edit 2: When you mine gneiss, you get gneis buttons, not stone =) Other UBC stones titles say Komatite Button etc, but yields gobblestone. Gneiss seems to give buttons as title says.
Edit 3: Soapstone gives also buttons, might be case for many other ores also. Buttons turn to vanilla cobblestone when put 2x2. Still like to get UBC cobble =)

MC stone does not exist in real life (the name of the rock), to facilitate all types of stone were called stone.
Rhyolite would fit
if replaced UBC. Stone use in many mods, change name OreDictionary can cause problems.

4 UBC cobble in a square will make 4 vanilla cobble. This can be changed to different recipes in the configs.

Attempted patch for the server crash UBC for 1.10 No idea why that routine would get called in a server stop - might be something else crashing.

Another bug popped out when we mined lapis lazuli. When they are in ubified stones, you get inc sacks. Vanilla lapis lazuli works ok.
Running other mods then UBC ?
No, that sounds like a bug - the right item, but with the wrong metadata.

Under beta 4 and 9, lignite drops look like a 2 color cube, in inventory it's a 2 color square:
