Hey, I'm making a playthrough series using this mod. I've made a little introduction for the first episode:
Care to take a look?
EDIT: Feedback is welcome!
It's nice so far, but your mic is severely quiet. My earphones are full volume and my home is dead silent and I can hardly hear you. Other than that, nice work. We need more people to do playthroughs of this mod so people can see all the features in action.
could I get clarification on the item{}. the wiki doesn't seem to cover that part. I've also posted that question on Github. Could I get a small description of each line. What I'm trying to achieve is that a lava tank or a lava clay bucket hurts like a regular lava bucket.
Thanks.

So I need clarification on something in the config. If I want to use Mekanism's gas mask and scuba gear or Galacticraft's oxygen gear, mask and tanks to provide clean air at all times until my air supply in the tanks are depleted, how would I go about doing that?

Currently metadata isn't supported on armor configs yet will be in future. If the armor uses NBT tags to measure the amount of air inside it then we will never really be able to support it.

From what the NEI tooltips tell me, the armour uses metadata to track depletion. You should be okay for that part, however he other bit to it is that in order for it to function, they must all be equipped and in the case of Mekanism, turned on by pressing the mode switch key. In the case of Galacticraft, needs to be in an area that is considered unsuitable for breathing. Back to metadata, if you would add the options with that, would it be possible to utilise a wildcard argument for tracking depletion? The metadata for partially depleted tanks go well into the thousands and it would be silly to have to copy and paste the same configuration line two thousand times.
If you haven't seen my Twitter post, I've decided that I will be releasing the Big Update before October 31st regardless of stability or completion. It's been way too long in development and I suppose people are getting pretty tired of waiting for it. There will of course be bugs, many changes and things that will need to be reported and fixed so bear with us while we work through the rough few weeks after release.
There are a ton more configurable options available and are likely to break the old ones. If you are a mod pack developer then be prepared for this. We have tried to keep as much as the old format as possible for compatibility but some changes were unavoidable.
Two random things come to mind, dynamic temperature (Railcraft boiler, Rotarycraft friction heater, etc) and Mystcraft symbols for a subset of the (upcoming) dimension configs.
Built-in, hard-coded, mod-specific temp tracking sounds like a terrible idea and far more work than it's worth, as I have zero doubts that any consistency between mods with temp values is completely coincidental.
But what about either setting an NBT tag to watch in a config or having an API type thing for (3rd party) addons to communicate such things?
Sadly, I have zero idea how hard it would be to do Mystcraft specific stuff (or if you'd really want to), so that's more of a "OMG i haz great ideas guis" than anything else.
Any thoughts?
(Excited to try Mystcraft + this... suddenly void, skylands, cavelands, etc are now all crumbling deathtraps! Think I'm going to test if you can escape from a void age before the stone platform realizes gravity is a thing...)

There is an API sort of planned-ish. No hard facts yet, but it's an idea we've been throwing around. As for the void platform, don't jump.
Very excited to hear about the update. This mod completely changes the tactics to deal with difficulty on my already extremely difficult mod compilation...
I had a thought this morning, and I know there is a mod out there that deals with blood loss, but its not very good at all (buggy and not very configurable) and I think you could do better...I would love to see blood loss, bandages, and blood gain item as well, (new potion or food item?) if it strikes your interest =)
For me its helped in many ways making worlds more challenging and fun since you now have a limited water supply!

That's already a config option...
Bug report:
Mod interaction problem. Sanity is not reset with sleeping when the mod Morpheus is on the server.
Morpheus is a mod that set the world to day if more than 50% (configurable) of the players are sleeping.
So the only option for sanity on the server is anything other than sleeping.
thanks you.
*edit: posted on github. thanks.
I might be able to fix this, depends on how Morpheus overrides sleeping. Thanks for the report.

lol, yes, I saw that post xD

Which version is this happening in?
