This thread is a "hub" for my custom collection of mods. These mods are geared towards helping server owners and mod pack authors create customized content specifically for their server / pack and add a sense of professionalism to their work. All of these mods are open source and will have easy redistribution requirements. I am also taking requests for mods. Please read the entire FaQ section before asking for a custom mod or inquiring about permissions.
Custom-Collection:
More info coming soon. For now please check the archived post content section for more information on this mod. Custom-Collection is a combination of all the previous mods put together.
Custom-Codex:
Custom codex is a small mod that will give your user a book when they join a world. These books are generated through a series of configuration files and allows for you to create personalized books for your users. This mod allows for a custom book name, author and page text and supports the minecraft formatting codes allowing for text to be colored, obfuscated, bold, scratched out, underlined or italic. Minecraft formatting info can be found here.
Custom-Server:
Custom Server is a small mod that will add a server to the users server list when they log into the game. This can be used to help preserve the users existing server file when installing your pack. The server is generated using a configuration file and can be used to generate a server entry with a custom server name, ip and port. Server name can be customized with custom colors and formatting for the server ip will cause the ip not to work. Minecraft formatting info can be found here.
Custom-Branding:
Custom Branding is a small mod that allows for the customization of the branding options in the minecraft main menu. With this mod you can add customized text to the main menu on the left side of the screen where forge states how many mods are installed. It also allows for text to be added to the right side of the screen above the Mojang copyright text. This text can be changed using the minecraft formatting codes and allow for colored, bold, italic and several other options. Minecraft formatting info can be found here.
Usage/Legal:
You are free to use and distribute any of the mods listed on this page in your mod pack or server pack under the condition that I am credited on the packs credit list and there is a link back to this forum topic. If you would like to use the source code for these mods in your own mods you are permitted to do so on the condition that I am given credit in the credits section of your mod and mod page along with a link back to my profile and this mod page. This mod may not be distributed behind an adfly link or similar service and may not be re uploaded as a single mod. If you are uncertain about what this section means you may pm me for clarification.

Q: Can I make a video of this mod(s)?
A: Yes, as with almost every other mod you don't need my permission to make a YouTube video of my mod(s).
Q: Can you make a version for ____?
A: Please do not ask me to make versions of these mods for previous or newer versions then the current release of the mod. I plan to update to every stable minecraft version from the point of the mods release. Commenting this on the forums is considered update spam and may result in an infraction on your minecraft account so please don't ask in the comments.
Q: There seems to be a bug/crash with ________, what do I do?
A: Report it to me in the comments. The sooner I am made aware of an issue the sooner I can fix it.
Q: Can I use this mod in my modpack?
A: If you're seriously asking this I am guessing you didn't see my legal section. Yes you may use any of the mods listed on this page in your mod pack or server pack under the condition that it is under a non profit link and credit is given to me somewhere along with a link back to this page. If you need any further clarification pm me on the forums.
Q: Can I use code from these mods in my mod/project?
A: Yes you may use any of the code used in the mods listed on this page in your own mod/project under the condition that I am given credit somewhere on your mod page along with a link back here and a link to my forum profile.
Q: Do these mods work server side?
A: The should work server side or at least not cause a crash however these mods are typically designed to only be installed client side and would not have any benefits running server side. That being said Custom Codex is needed server side.

Sorry to hear that the clan died. Recently I have been associated with a lot of pack authors so that's why these mods have came about.

I had the idea originally but when I saw starting inventory I voted against it. However at your request I will start work on it. I am going to be working hard on this one as I have some interesting ideas on how to do it and on how to make it. I will post further progress on this page.

Also, side request: is there anyway to give potion effects to players as soon as they login/spawn for the first time?

I don't know if you have ever seen XieMod but I was thinking I could do something similar. Allowing for custom tool tips to be given on items, even vanilla ones! Along with setting enchantments, nbt and a few other things.
