Hello folks, LightningPig here to update you on the status of this project. Xilef11 and I are working to bring you folks a decorative release soon- that is, a release with aesthetic dust for you to place... well, everywhere, I guess. Not quite. There are good and bad:
Good: There are items called inscriptions now, which are wearable runes the the original author added in v1.3. They have some pretty interesting powers that are documented in the runic tome.
Bad: The Earth Sprite rune, along with two others, are broken because of 1.6 did to them. Also, I have disabled flames on runes because they were overall buggy. These shall be fixed soon.

One question though, does/will the Thaumcraft stuff have any related entries in the thaumonomicon?
No, not at this time. Maybe I will once I put more than just Thaumium dust in it :P. I just have that module for people to test and play with, that's all.

Minecraft is running out of memory when this mod is running. I had the same issue with the last version of runic dusts. Can't really say anything regarding if it is my system or not thats causing the issue. Just thought I should post it anyways.

Glad this is back......with that being said, I do hope someone makes a spotlight, because I still haven't got to use this mod(I mean previous versions as well). XD
I always hesitated due to how complicated it sounds.

Thanks most of it's the same just some stuff that have been added i noticed that some must be WIP i can't get the lily pad bridge the auto farm or the one that flattens land to work but mostly all of them work.
Oh year i no longer need torches i use dust and flint for a light from the sky now, way better than a stupid torch plus i can color it, IT'S AWESOME

In all honesty, if you can manage to understand Thaumcraft, this is a piece of cake. Although I am working on adding a getting started guide in the Runic Tome (that is, after I overhaul the UI).

I don't want to install a mod, and while I'm playing, suddenly f.e. I'm getting rained down upon by meteorites that I knew nothing about, or find a biome that's slowly but steadily corrupting my world. XD

Nope, none of that. You can just add it to any existing world and start playing by crafting some dust (again, use NEI for recipes until the guide is ready).
