Putting the finishing touches on 1.11.1 and 1.11.2. Also working on the modpack compatibility issues people have been experiencing. One or two more days!
Appreciate the update. Hope your holidays were well spent and of course, fun!
Ok, I have a question about something I noticed while playing last night...
I was in the nether, and was trying to view the bottom of a lava lake. I made a new X-ray profile that only turned off lava blocks, and had netherrack turned on. It worked as expected, allowing me to see what the lake floor looked like without the lava in the way. But it was super-laggy. I've got a beast of a PC, and don't typically lag anywhere, even with a 64-bit texture-pack and a far view distance. But running X-Ray with that profile lagged like crazy.
I'm not necessarily asking for a fix, since I'm assuming this is just a result of how X-Ray inherently works. But if I better understood why it lags, maybe there's something I could configure differently to accomplish the same thing without bringing my PC to its knees?
I've also been using Julians version since Minecraft got updated to 1.11.2 but boy oh boy, that mod is nothing compared to this imho, so I'm also eagerly awaiting for the update.

He broke my heart, I broke his Xbox. Guess who cried harder.
I know this is difficult for most children and retired people to understand, but many of us do actually have lives and responsibilities outside of Minecraft.

Plus the fact that a lot of people ignore, is that many times the mod developer is also a developer in his professional life.
I, also being a developer, totally understand how having to fix bugs and/or updating the mod might not be the most exciting thing to do after a full day of work developing for our bosses and the rest of the real life issues.
yeah, lets just develop a little on my spare time so I can take the head of all the developing I did during the day!!!!
Okay. Here is a working version for 1.11.1 and 1.11.2. There is still more work to be done, but it seems stable enough for a preview release, and I know demand is high. I will have another update out soon that's much more polished. I'm not sure when but when you see the update notification I recommend you update immediately.
None of my "profiles" including Cave Finder have any blocks selected so I'm guessing that the tweaks I made to the default X-ray profile are also gone.
So far seems to work fine otherwise (it remembers the custom keys I assigned in controls but the profiles themselves are empty)
im looking forward! thx
Amazing! Thank you.

did you do that on a xray protected server?
Nope, just single-player. I only use X-ray in my single-player creative worlds.

You da man. Thank you very much for doing this. I'd happily pay for the updates as your mod is so good.
I have done some testing on 1.11.2 and so good and no issues.
It's hard to hide ones impatience, but some of us try. Thank you very much for this update.
So far I encountered no "bugs".
