I'm having problems with the installer. When I try to install the mod into a profile, it doesn't show any of my modded profiles (like OptiFine) as seen below. I really need help on this!

If you have a modded profile you can just place it into your mods folder.
So I've been using this for years now.. I feel like I should leave a thank you for the work after all this time. So thanks, mang. Keep doing what you do.

Minecraftin' since indef. Haven't missed a patch since.
just wondering has netherrack been removed or something? i have not changed my config file and in old versions it used to go away but now when i activate xray it still shows
For some reason, I installed the X-Ray and could not connect to a server (the other servers that I had were fine). Do you think the server has some special plugin that won't even let me connect to it with X-Ray installed, or is there something else going on? I tried logging in on a different profile without the X-Ray installed and I could connect fine.
It's a good a mod and all but it doesnt always show the blocks.I was standing next to iron and it only revealed one block... then it took a while for the other blocks to show up, It makes it hard to see where the diamonds are and stuff and the delay can really mess things up.
This is very close to the official release - I just want some beta testers to check it out first and report any bugs or anything that doesn't seem right. It does support all versions from 1.6.4 to 1.8.8
The biggest change since the previous preview release is that you can enable and disable XRay or Fly without having to restarting Minecraft. The rest of the changes are internal (performance, stability, etc).
If you haven't seen the previous release: you no longer have to edit any text files to configure XRay. Press O in-game to open the user interface and you can do everything from there (show/hide blocks, configure the coordinates, create additional profiles, enable/disable stuff, etc).
- added user interface
- large code overhaul to accommodate user interface
- changed version scheme to major.minor
- removed coordinates keybinding because it can be toggled on/off on the user interface
- profiles can be added and removed without the need for Minecraft to be restarted
- can now enable and disable xray or fly without restarting Minecraft
Here's my todo list for upcoming versions after 4.2:
- Make block list easier to navigate (search bar/tree)
- Add formatting buttons to coordinates to easily change color & font style

Sounds great; nice to hear from you and hope studies are going well. I assume that the default "O" is configurable in options since both NEI and TMI both utilize this same keybinding; may have been better to use the previous default coordinates binding since removed.

Yeah it's configurable in the Controls. I'll probably change the default to the old coordinates keybinding in the next update - that's a good idea.
How do I add blocks to include that arent in the list as I want more options
UPDATE
Nevermind I found out how to. It is a little confusing but overall nice
Yeah I'm going to write up a formal information section on the main post later about how the user interface works.
But basically it just adds blocks as it sees them.
There's some discussion that started here where I explain some more details about how it works internally.
Could you give me a copy of the crash report? I'd like to fix what ever is causing the crash if it's a bug in my mod...
I don't know for sure that my issue is the same one, but I am also crashing on startup like the above user. I only started getting this error after I updated to version 4.2. Version 4.1.6 works fine for me. Here's the crash report:
