MineBattles ModThis mod adds 3 military units so far. They are the knight, soldier, and archer. They attack mobs and can follow you. If you right click them, then they will follow you or protect an area. There is a block added called the Battle Block. You use the battle block to spawn the soldiers.When you right click on the block, it will open a screen showing 3 buttons. You need iron ingots to spawn these mobs. The Mobs are all wearing some armor. So, you can take them to battles with other mobs! You can also battle enemies with them! Screenshots:

This looks pretty neat! Are the mobs' recruitment costs configurable? Like, if I wanted knights to cost 24 iron, archers to cost 6 gold, and soldiers to cost a few rift flux (from Invasion Mod, which would pair well with this), could I do that?

Thanks And they are not configurable right now, but I plan to add it in the future.
So your mod is somewhat.. Idk.. Unoriginal. I like it , but it needs a special touch. I was thinking something along the lines of being able to equip your own soldiers. For example, you could spawn soldiers but you would need to equip them with armor and weapons. When using mods like infernals mobs or other mods that net you more ores meaning more armor and weapons, you would have extra items and customization for your battalion. I have not seem any other mod that lets you do that. Another suggestion would be being able to upgrade your soldiers. Like using exp to level them up, thus gaining health, defense, attack, etc. I just think this would make this mod more fun and enjoyable, while being original. Originality+Quantity= Profit and popularity.

Utility Mobs adds equippable defender mobs, but they lack the ability to follow or guard on command. Oku's Friend Mod back in 1.2.5 was awesome, I wish it would come back. In SSP its nice to have an AI friend that talks to you and can follow you or guard an area that can equip any weapon and armor you give them. Male/Female options are good too. The priestess girls that heal you from TaleofKingdoms were really cool. Just trying to give you some ideas. Also, please make the block craftable !
Edit: Add some sort of targetlist either in game or the config like utility mobs has, my soldiers keep attacking MCA civillians and friendly mobs from Grimiore of Gaia
Maybe add some Spawn Eggs for the individual units? A bit annoying for me to constantly place down a block and keep on clicking. Also, whenever I spawn Archers via the block, I get this crash:

Interestingly, this does not corrupt the world. It just causes a minor inconvenience as I have to restart the game. It would be greatly appreciated if this bug could be crushed.
