could you add a quick list of visited gate locations so if i have multiple star gates but only one in my house i don't have to type a location and wait for the portal to charge? and if you do, the ability to name gates?

you can copy/paste and with oc and cc(not for now) you can make a easy program so you put a computer at the gate and just run a program whit your home addres or so

Because we don't want the chunks to stay loaded at all times, this is why we moved away from the old mechanic of keeping them always loaded. And no, the gate does not have to be active to load the chunk, the local gate can request the chunk the remote gate is in to load, once it's loaded then dial, and connect, then keep both chunks loaded until disconnection. This is the intended method, which currently is not working properly. We will NOT be moving back to the always loaded chunk method from the original mod. Also, no I'm not combining two different problems. The issue with the remote gate dialing when you step through, is because when you land on the other end, the chunk is being loaded, and the gate syncs states.... which you guessed it, causes it to dial.

As for the Transport Rings, it's really simple, place one, then above or below it place another one, use a ring activator item, click the ring and it will transport you.

I'm about to add Cartouches and Coverstones in a next release, and there's been a few requests for some other helpful gate-address note tools. They'll be announced later on -- but yes, something is planned.
When I fly a helicopter(from mod Mcheli) and I enter stargate, machine and I teleport but I am no longer in helicopter. Is it a bug or is it normal. Can you fix it, please? I want stargate in space to fly planes!

1 — Do transport ring sets have to be exactly above each other, or is there any "float" allowed? i.e, will they still work if off by one or two blocks?
2 — Is it possible to have a column of three (or more) transport rings and choose which one to travel to, or is it strictly pairs only? If it were possible to choose which of several possible target ring sets to go to, they would make awesome multi-level elevators.
And 3 — you mention ring activator items. Does any activator activate any set of rings, or is there any way to have restricted rings that require a specific "keyed" activator?

My apologies if this is answered someplace else in 60 pages of posts, this is my first attempt at getting any sort of Minecraft mod.
I've got Minecraft 1.7.9 installed, Forge 1.7.2 installed, and I've got the newest Release Candidate off Forge... but I cannot figure out how to get Lanteacraft to load. If I drop the RC into my mods directory and try on any version, the launcher just keeps relaunching, no actual game...
I know that I need to be playing on the Forge profile created by the forge installer, and that said profile needs to be set to v1.7.2 in order for Forge to work. Which I've done. But I still can't get this mod to work.

LanteaCraft doesn't run on Minecraft 1.7.2, and I'm actually considering waiting until 1.8 to update it (because of issues in 1.7). You can run LanteaCraft on Minecraft 1.6.4, though.

I don't know if this has been previously asked or what but i was wondering if you are going to eventually add Destiny-Styled gates in the mod, i would like to know because i found them really awesome to use in game (Specially using that awesome Portable dhd-functioning remote control)

there is no public build that has the iris,replicators,... they are working very hard to get us this mod as quick as possible and as stable as possible you can see on https://github.com/P...s/master?page=1 what they are doing but it all has to be (a bit) stable before they realease it

Looks like I did need to have the v1.6.4 version of Forge for this. Everything else said v1.6.4 or newer, when it came to using mods with Forge.
