The restoration enchantment is your issue. It's 1 for 1. For each damage point it repairs, jewelry takes 1 damage. If you are wanting to use that enchantment, you are going to want to craft jewelry with high durability.
I will probably reduce how much xp it costs to repair jewelry though, I think 2 x cost, works out to be a bit much.
Got it. Thanks.
Btw, having Paraglide enchantment active on the best necklace I can get consumes durability insanely fast. It kills my necklace in about 5 mins of just having "gliding" active without actual gliding. And it costs about 360 levels to repair it.
I really like the enchantment system in this mod but it seems a bit overcomplicated. Have to pay way too much for it to actually use it freely.
Yeah, some enchantments are not as properly balanced as others. Will be sorted
Glide will take damage everytime you jump though... if you have it active... Since you fall slower...
Ahhh, I'm so confused! I've been going at this for hours trying to figure this mod out. There are so very many things that aren't well-documented enough to make sense to a noob, I feel. Even after crafting the books. I'm looking at a book and learning how to make Titanium. After making other ingots with the Crucible Furnace, I decide to try to melt down some limestone to make quicklime. Okay, done. That was easy. But the graph just shows the vat with one half water, one half quicklime to make magnesium. Because I don't know everything about this mod, I'm new to it, I figure it means put some quicklime into the vat and some water obviously. I used a ladle just like I have for other things. Nothing. It just creates odd layers of water and quicklime with no reaction. The amount of time spent on each subject in these books is not enough. I need more information if I'm expected to figure this out. What do I do, step-by-step? There's too much assuming in the books that I should just understand what side views of vats mean or this or that. I do have NEI, and it's no help either. And I'm not ready to cheat something in.
Mmm... There are titles above vats in a book (Basic Materials & Processing) with information about exact amounts of liquid required to make something
There are, the book and NEI both tell me. But I've tried putting that amount of quicklime as per the instructions into the vat with some water, but nothing happens. I'll try again soon.
Okay so this is basically a rant about your mod, I do like it a lot but I have some major problems.
First off I am playing in the latest update, and I am playing on FTB Monster. I have NEI installed, and I have been reading through the wiki, the books, and looking in the NEI for information but nothing is panning out.
I see videos on a freezer but when I look for it in NEI it does not exist, so I can not make these ingots, also I have no idea how to properly make titanium in the first place, when I mix limestone and water together and yes in the correct amounts it does not work. But I see youtuber's using this freezer and it working.
Another problem I see is there is conflicting information on the books and on the wiki. The wiki says to use stick in a freezer to make polished sticks but I can make polished sticks and gold string in a vat just fine.
Sorry if it seems like I am being rude, but from what I can tell your mod is very incomplete, based on experience and from former posts. I do like the idea of the mod and the things I have experienced thus far, but it is becoming to much a pain to really keep messing with it until it gets fixed.

Yes this OP is out of date for 1.2.0, and so is the wiki.
There's no such thing as a "Freezer" anymore. It is called Ingot Former or something like this. The books contains actual information AFAIK, so use them, not the wiki.
One ladle holds 144mB of liquid - keep that in mind P.S: Awesome userpic btw =)
Haha thanks. It's one of those pictures that made me laugh so hard when I first saw it that my eyes teared up. I figured it out. I saw on the picture that it needed (if memory serves right) 24,000 mB of quicklime and 16,000 mB of water, but it didn't make sense since I understood that 4 vats together could only hold up to 30,000 mB and those two quantities totaled 40k. Anyway, I did it anyway and it started to smoke and then created a "magnesiish dust" or whatever it was. I was disappointed to discover that such an absurd and time-consuming amount of materials is going to have to go into making one ingot of magnesium, one ingot of impure titanium, and then together, finally a titanium ingot. Does anyone know if this is final, or does the mod creator plan on this being final? There are a ton of uses for titanium ingots and I'm afraid that's a TON of work. I know he/she is going for realism here, but realism isn't always good haha. Otherwise I can just deal with it...
EDIT: Oh, hey joshie, I also have a glitch to report. Whenever I try to use one of your "heat resistant" empty bottles on a drum from Extra Utilities 1.0.3a, such as when I want to store extra liquid aluminum or quicklime or even vanilla fluids like water or lava that's in the bottles, they'll store into the drum just fine when right-clicked with the bottle, but instead of keeping the bottle, the bottle is lost entirely. That's pretty disappointing and I hope that's a glitch and not deliberate, buckets aren't lost when storing in drums. I've reported it on Extra Utilities' thread too. I've also updated it just not to 1.0.3b but I highly doubt the issue was addressed since it isn't in the changelog, but I'll test it.
nate, that happens with every tank except for mine. I haven't set my bottles to have a container item, the only reason mine do it, is because i tell my tanks to give back empty containers, which means you get things back like forestry capsules too, which you don't with most tanks.

Okay, so it sounds like this may be an issue on the opposing end, not yours if I read that right. Thank you. I'll just have to use NEI to cheat them in since I feel that I shouldn't technically be losing them haha.

And that's why vat is holding 30k of each liquid You can pump it in! And it doesn't have to be 24 buckets exactly. It can be more! So, pump quicklime and water in, and use some kind of output piping for items to get your magnesium dust... Profit!
You cannot do it with Mariculture on it's own unfortunately, but still =)
Does coral need anything special to grow? A specific biome, or the like? I haven't been able to get mine to start spreading, on cobblestone. I read somewhere that cobblestone should work. Do I need to gather some coral rock?
Nope it does not, it will only spread on coral rock.
Updates released
For 1.6.4 and 1.7.2, If you want to keep my books you're going to need Enchiridion now. I made the split, as the custom book feature is handy, without needing to have my mod...
That would be awesome after you've finished what you're doing
USE SPOILERS PLEASE!
Got it. Thanks.

"Hi, I would like to help wiki your fish". Just so I know it's not some random person trying to join...
Go on to dry land and then toss the living fish onto the ground then pick them up, and they will be raw fish.
