Not just that (also, that would be thirst), but both screenshots are located in the same world w/same stats. The hunger is also not showing the correct value.
Also, another thing, can you add to the hud a saturation overlay, that shows the saturation you have over the amount of food (Like the hunger bar being orange and yellow at half of the orange, or maybe past the orange).
Numbers are correct for health, see http://terrafirmacraft.com/wiki/Anatomy. The hunger problem is most likely coming from the TFC API using it's own system rather than vanilla's. I will check out the TFC API to see if they have an easy way to check the hunger/thirst stats.
Really like the mod, nice work. I just want to point out a minor visual bug - the durability on armor is rendered below the armor icon itself (lower z value or somthing). Also is there a way to change the font ? Keep up the good work.
Font isn't changeable, unless you change the unicode font for Minecraft (if that's possible). Will investigate the armor thing, it likely is a zlevel issue.
EDIT: after making 15 new worlds out of frustration, I got one that didn't crash
I don't expect to be able to load it again after I save and exit
You're using 1.6.2.
"2014-05-09 14:06:07 [INFO] [STDOUT] Minecraft Version: 1.6.2"
CompactDisplayHUD is only works with 1.5.2, 1.6.4 and 1.7.2 right now. I'll put a version out for 1.6.2 in the next couple of days. Why TFC is running 1.6.2 vs 1.6.4 I'll never know....

Sorry, yes, I saw that after I came back to the first post here, but it's still been crashing in B78 for me but don't worry about it, B78 seems to just hate my computer entirely, every few chunks that generate I get vanilla MC errors crashing the game that I can't find a solution for.
Definitely using this outside of TFC, though, it's so much less cluttered than TukMC
I saw that there's a config keybind, when will it be in use/fixed?
And also max, could you try to add compatibilities/support with your own advanced HUD and this? You could do the same with TukMC as well, without actually needing to put that in, in case you change something on one side, and then people complaining on the other.
I like this but I don't use it because there isn't enough control. It would be nice if there was a setup menu. Set the hud up as a bunch of open slots and have people drag in what they want to be shown, much like the way dayz backpacks hold items. this way you could give people more options while making it as versatile as possible.

Yet the mod is meant to have all the main HUD features compact for clutter compatibility with other HUD mods (I believe), but there is a config keybind, with what you are saying. Since I haven't really been in this thread that much, I don't know what happened to it, but the features of that will be added soon.

Suggestion: when in use with resourcepacks, the hud colors (health, hunger, exp, etc.) corresponds with the color shading of the resource pack you use (So when the RP has blue exp, the hud's exp is blue, RP has orange hearts, hud's health is orange, etc.).
Suggestion: Experience till next level in % where the #/Total is right now, have the # as an overlay to the actual bar, and have the Total to the right of the bar but left of the %.
Suggestion: Customize colors in the HUD.
Suggestion: Add a feature above the center of the HUD for tooltips.
Suggestion: As a sub-part to the previous suggestion, have NBTag compatibility with the tooltips (Let's say, there is something saying 'Smites mobs' in the tooltip. The HUD will recognize that tag, and put it in the tooltip area of the HUD.
Suggestion: Add a number value to the hunger.
Suggestion: Add a saturation overlay to the hunger (Example Here)
Suggestion: Add compatibility features with your Advanced HUD or include Advanced HUDisk features to Compact Display HUD (Not in the sense of moving around the HUD itself, but more of moving around parts of the HUD, rotation, length, etc.)
Suggestion: Fix the Config keybind.

- Tips:
Make it a little smaller.
Disable clock and compass when you didn't craft it yet. It's cheating.
Make transparency so you can see through it.
Show how much armor do you have. Maybe a damage block percentage?
Show how much damage you would deal.
Seems it would look great with Damage Indicators Mod.
I know your focus is currently on updating TukMC, but do you have any intentions of keeping this mod up-to-date to future versions?
Great work as always, I'm a fan of what you do.

Don't worry, Max will be updating this mod for future major versions, just don't bug him once a new MC version comes out. There is a sort of procedure in how mods update for a new version:
1. Wait for Minecraft Coder Pack to update to a stable sensible release (in the beginning of 1.7, MCP was not as sensible as usual, because of all the code changes).
2. Wait for forge to update to a stable release.
3. Understand the new changes that could cause code/mod changes to keep the compatibility.

Any chance to support JourneyMap? When I have compact displayed, it does not display the minimap. Once I turn off compact with H, it comes back. Not sure which side is causing it for sure.

Good to hear. TukMC is a literal hellhole for me to maintain. I still can't get it fully working in 1.7
And also max, could you try to add compatibilities/support with your own advanced HUD and this? You could do the same with TukMC as well, without actually needing to put that in, in case you change something on one side, and then people complaining on the other.
Also, could you put numbers for the hunger bar as well, and have a saturation overlay to the hunger? a good example of this would kind of be here: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1871468-162-tweak-the-saturation-mod-updated-v12-1000-downloads/
