Hello I am having troubles with my veinminer mod not working it activates and i have it on the server that i'm playing on but when i type ./veinminer mode sneak it doesnt activate and gives me the message "You seem to have a veinminer on the client. Please use /veinminer c instead.
I prefer to use the full version of veinminer i dont like the client side only version of veinminer
With the 1.11.2 version, i can't not have a keybind to use this mod.
Setting the mod to "activate while not sneaking" or any of those other options while having the keybind set to "GRAVE" (wtf is that?) doesn't work, i have to use some sort of actual keybind to have the veins break all at once.
1.7.10 - The vanilla tools aren't whitelisted on VeinMiner.
I have no idea where veinminer.cfg is, and used the Forge "Mod Options" on the pause screen.
The "Add" button doesn't work!
The vanilla location is C:\Users\"User Name"\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\config\ There should be a folder there called VeinMiner and the General file is the one you want, read further below I explained what needs to be changed.

The mod only seems to work in creative by punching the block. Whenever I use a tool in single player or even in creative, the mod does not work.
Have you tried to edit the config file? if so, I'm also having issues with using an open hand for this mod, but opening and saving the config file seems to be a band-aid...
Am I right that each and every change in the config GUI requires at least a reload of the save, or even a complete game restart? That's really inconvenient, and also unusual, as most mods can configure most options on the fly. And if they can't, they at least give you a warning about needing a restart.
Yeah, it's a broken system (not the modders fault) but it has to be done that way...
So far in 1.10.2 we cannot get VM to work no matter how its configured. Key press, no key press, sneak, no sneak...doesn't matter...just doesn't work.
Are you going through the GUI config or the file config? huge difference... there's a couple lines that read, "

Change them to "true"
Also, this section should be set to what you want, mine is set to sneak...

As said earlier, GRAVE is the key that has these symbols `~ on it, usually next to the number 1! key and above the Tab key... I re-keybind this when I use the keybind cause this is usually my GammaBright activation key... aslo, did you try the technique I just mentioned?
Now for my next issue... is there a way to put a delay into using this mod? like if I use an efficiency 5 shovel on sand and sneak like I have it set to, can I have it where I have 3 more seconds before it activates, so I have time to let go of the sneak before it mines. I know others have this issue where they mine say stone then granite behind it in one swing of a pickaxe, I'd like to be able to not mine the block behind (granite in this example) so fast after the initial mine...

hi i need help with the mod i didn't know how to add the Ex Nihilo Creatio tools to the tools list but i know how now but still the Vein mine doesn't work with hammers oh and i cant add Crooks to the tools list for some reason and it only work with axe i tried with shovels and pickaxes nothing its only working with axes and woods soo pls help TvT ;-; oh and BTW if you want more pics of the problem tell me and i will take some once i login into my world and i hope that you can help me with it QwQ
I've added all tools IDs and block IDs and this will not work for 1.5.2, no version for 1.5 works. Doesn't have any errors, but nothing, no vanilla tools, vanilla blocks..
I'm very confused. I added cobblestone to the blocklist for pickaxes and the stone pick is already on the pick tool list but I can't veinmine. I tried changing it to pressed and I tried changing it to sneak but nothing I do seems to work with the latest version. also is there a way to easily enable all blocks to work with all tools? like all blocks that can be mined with a wood pick would work with a wood pick by default? cause a lot of blocks even vanilla ones aren't included in the blocklist which confuses me
Im doing "/veinminerc sneak" but whenever i put that in it says
"Veinminer client keybind disabled
Veinminer set to activate on sneak"

1.12 version wont work with empty hand unless I go into the config and re-save the file and then it works till I reload Minecraft again...

1.7.10 - I'm unable to correctly whitelist terrafirmacraft tools by using either the tool's name OR item ID
as you can see here, the Copper Pick (terrafirmacraft:item.Copper Pick) has a space in its name
that's not a typo in the mouseover, either
I dumped all tool names, the TFC tools all have spaces in their names

Cursed Client files are here : C:\Users\"User Name"\Documents\Curse\Minecraft\Instances\ then whatever version you are playing...
