I am looking forward to it Thank you for you work.
The GregTech config didn't work so far. Another Recipe Remover mod didn't work either. So your mod is the only way for me to disable all tools from GT without problems. But I think I have to disable about ~500 recipes. That are minimum 5 files at 32k ^^ and that is only for GT recipes, have a few recipes more
Yes, but 32k is not that much storage, i will look if i can configure that.
I disabled 11 recipes to add 11, but it only looks for the 11 I added and removes the disabled...
The items in question were from Ars Magica 2.
Okay, I loaded just Ars Magica 2 and Crafting Manager in a new instance and it works just fine, yet when I try it in a 299 mod modpack... Something must be conflicting and disabling the recipe disabler? I'm completely lost, is there any combination of mods that makes it undo removed recipes?
I am getting the error message: "Payload may not be larger than 32k". I want to disable all GregTech recipes for Pickaxes, Shovels...
Is there an easier way to do this and do something I can do against the error?
EDIT:
Found a way to disable it directly in the GregTech config. But still there is a limit in your mod of 32k byte config file (new1.cfg). All larger than that will produce the error message from above.
Maybe you can make a future update with splitted files.
Anyway your mod is the best I have seen for manipulating crafting recipes. It's great!
I'm also getting the 32k byte error message... And I only disabled 11 things before it came up! (and added 11).
Maybe I'll wait till the 32k byte thing is fixed; that seems to mess up my enabled/disabled recipes.
More testing (yay) with a different mod called "Balanced Exchange", which has its own recipe enabler/disabler and furnace additions. So between that disabling (and keeping) things disabled, and this adding them no problem-with the added bonus of furnace recipes, I think I'm able to do something for now... Still waiting for an update, but all the best till then
A little more testing and found out Balanced Exchange only saves between worlds; if I create a new one, the disabled recipes are back... So close to getting somewhere and then bam, back at square one...

Make sure you do not have minetweaker and modtweaker installed with this mod because they work against each other and I had the same problem you just mentioned.
Okay, disabling seems to be fixed, but now I'm having an adding problem... XD
It seems to re-add the added recipes, recreating them. Like say I add one recipe, then start a new world, it will add that recipe again, creating two. Then I start another world, and it adds that recipe...again, even though the original is still there it keeps adding it again, like it got removed. I now have 3 recipes for a Crafting Alter that are all the same... I don't know how else to explain.
Using latest version (but it also happened on 0.7.5).

Edit: So I just started another new creative world, and only 4 recipes are disabled instead of the original twelve I had disabled... I think I'm just out of luck with disabling anything
Edit2: Would it be possible that something is modifying the "new1" document and doing whatever it wants to it?

Could you give me a list of mods and also try if this also happen without any other mod?
Okay, so with just CraftingManager on Forge1217, if you have no worlds, create a world and add like 5 recipes in that world. Then create a second world and you'll notice it now says added 10 (it re-added the other 5 recipes, create 2 of the same recipe for each added item).
That bug seems to be on your end,and it gos away when you close the game and go back in, but if you again select one of the created worlds, then exit and select the other, it happens again. As for them mod list, give me till later today or tomorrow.

It does no longer say it adds them, but they still show up when you look up the recipe, over and over and over. Just create two worlds, add 1 item recipe, and switch back and forth between the two and look up the recipe for the item you added.
And now for some good news! I think I cracked the recipe disabling thing; entirely on my end XD
When I add/remove/update mods (at least I hope this is the problem), it re-enable specific things. A test being was I had a world with just Ars Magica 2 and Crafting Manager. Added 8 recipes, disabled 8 recipes. Then I shut down the launcher, started it up again, same thing. Now I add Thaumcraft, and it shows 8 recipes added, and 4 disabled. So that may be key, not 100% sure though. It may be something completely impossible to fix on your end, which is okay XD
I just need to wait to a point where all my mods are stable and I have all that I want added before really using your mod. Thanks for putting up with me XD Just remember, I may be back. Looking forward to the furnace recipes BTW

With version 0.7.7 my game crashed after searching 'p' in the Remove Recipe field:
edit: 'a' is the same, 'i' gives me a BIG crash report (looks like a loop).

is there a way to eventually add in disabling and adding recipes for the furnace. This mod has made things much easier then minetweaker for removing simple recipes and adding them so i wanted to know if you plan on doing the same for furnace recipes as well.
Yes, but 32k is not that much storage, i will look if i can configure that.
Could you add support for Minetweaker my friend. Please ! This mod makes all custom scripts from that mod not load.

@Solar_Tiger and @crunkazcanbe
could you try to use 0.7.6?
@Nericu
i think i finally fix your bug :D, could you test it out?

Thanx man it now works with minetweaker.
Ok? i didn't do anything for that :D.

I will take a look at that.
Fixed it :D, was easier then i thought, i only added one line. Now it should work, just download 0.7.7.

Hm, thats wired, i will take a look at that.
Sorry, i didn't get it, you should test if Magical Crops is compatible, it should work.
Yes, i will try to fix this, it's caused by invalid recipes of the mod forestry.
