Sadly when it's happens log says nothing.
It just freezes, nothing happens on server, nobody get's actual kick. But it's just says "timeout error", even server console doesnt show that when it's happens. so the only thing i could do is stop server.
I saw myself on server yet we got that timeout when 1 tryed to pass through Gateway.
does anybody knows why when i am trying to go through Gateway, server freezes and nothing can work?
It kicks everyone with timeout error.
A few questions:
1) Which version of AM2 are you running?
2) Are you absolutely, 100%, irrefutably certain that the code in the keystone receptacle is valid and matches its target destination?
I remember a while back on Arcanacraft I discovered a bug not unlike this one when running either .005 or .006. Or some other version that I don't recall.
I just crashed my server and client at the same time when breaking the lectern of my crafting altar.
Crash is completely the same at the client and server:
java.lang.ClassCastException: mods.railcraft.common.blocks.hidden.TileHidden cannot be cast to am2.blocks.tileentities.TileEntityLectern
at am2.blocks.tileentities.TileEntityCraftingAltar.updateLecternInformation(TileEntityCraftingAltar.java:508)
at am2.blocks.tileentities.TileEntityCraftingAltar.func_145845_h(TileEntityCraftingAltar.java:467)
I did the same think just a few hours back without causing any problems.
I believe "TileHidden" is the residual heat of Railcraft. Have you disabled that in its config? I can only guess it's trying to replace the lectern when you destroyed it, though I wouldn't know. If you have disabled it, then unfortunately I don't really know.
These last two bugs must be horrendous... I'm picturing an epic DBZ battle with 27 episodes of Mithion charging a spirit bomb. DBZ meets Reboot? Hmmmmm.

Wow Mithion I am sorry to hear that happened. But at the same time I am glad to see you finally going in the right direction. Doing this will most likely extend the longevity of AM for a really long time.

Dang, wish i knew how to add in the explosion component and tweak it and whatnot.... >.>, i know a bit of scripting and anyone who wants a script for Auto Hotkey (a thingermagig that allows you to script things and make it run using a key code like CTRL+6), anyhoo I made it so that you can idle while right clicking (tbh a simple script...), but just ask and I will put it in a spoiler! (touch+dig on bedrock works the best :D)

can somebody help me with "Felled oak"?
I set 3 Flicker Habitats together.
Middle one with felled oak and 2 with lightning and nature flickers.
In compedium stated that if i put a chest next to Nature flicker's Habitat it will take sap from chest and replant... but somehow it does nothing.
Indeed it worked once. but just once... What do i do wrong?
Spoiler below is kinda my bug report which isnt really usefull. But... This is what happened to me when i tryed to make automatic Wood to Coal to Nitor (Thaumcraft) farm. Which was not finished by the time of editing this post.

But i got almost what i wanted even without Felled oak.
If someone would like to know how, i can describe in PM.
Done without Creative yet... it took me quite long. I glad i had all resources required.
You can see felled oak place far on screenshot still holding saplings in chest and still dont understand why it didnt replant after cut.

Obelisk can get infinite energy.
To get this you need:
1 set export crystals, 1 import crystal
Flicker Focus: Import transport (and dont know if they affect it, Arcane Flicker and Lightning flicker)
1 Chest.
2 stacks of Vintium Dust
Basicaly what you do.
You put import crystal on the chest.
And put set export crystal with vintium dust inside on the obelisk.
if you put 1 stack inside of obelisk and 1 into chest it will be infinite...
1 stack will just keep 64 inside of chest while obelisk will get more vintium dusk out of nowhere...
I though my game lagged but it didnt change at all.
Fully changed 1 mana battery and still not finished using vintium dust.
EDIT again:
I just found another bug.
Item duplication bug
2 chests
2 import crystals, 2 export crystals.
almost the same way as previous bug but...
It happens when using combined chest (2 chests together) and it's missing like 1 stack from being full.
and ofc... 2 stacks of same item.
that's it. kinda silly but i accidentaly got myself 10 stacks of charcoal... which i never needed before.
And when i tryed to replicate it, it... failed ._.
This bug works when it wants to?

I was not able to recreate it.
But the only 1 thing that i can confirm right now is that bug with energy is working.

I could not make the same i did with charcoal but still i got similar.
full double chest of same time -1 stack of that item while that item is used (like in autocrafting machine) will make it unlimited.

1. Latest which is 1.7.10_AM2-1.4.0.008.
2. I've read that they dont have to use keystones. They are supposted to work even without keystone.

i decided to insert runes into it and it got fixed.
Just wondering.
If i put Blank Runes into it. will be i able to use it without keystone?

apparently there is one strange bug.
If you use Keystone on blank waystone server freezes.
And also if another black way stone is quite far from here it freezes too...
BUT it didnt freeze when i used Keystone on 2 waystones with specific runes.

I dont understand what is going on now.
Because i removed runes from portals and they are working perfectly now... Maybe it's because i am alone at server right now.

Strange bug encountered:
Spell used:
Lightning Damage, Magic Damage, Slow, Disarm, AOE - projectile.
If it hits Player, game will crash for me.
That is. Uh. Not a spell. It's actually not possible to make a spell in that order. At all.
Then how was i able to do it?
Try removing Disarm, it doesnt work in this version afaik.
...That is not the spell you described. What you described to me was the components coming before the targeting shapes.

Just a simple question. Since brew mods don't work with latest forge due to changes in liquid code does the same problem occur with AM2?
Mithion, will you put a link to the GitHub for ars magicka 2 on the forum post? Or is it already there and I missed it?
