I hope you will be able to continue modding in the future, but if it is not the case, then I will be content if you have a happy life =).

After 5 years of my commitment to unravel the mysteries of this modding geniosity, this piece of art will not rest forgotten, sure, it doesn't have any more unheard mysteries, but it is forever packed with the same fun of when i had no other pass-times through my own struggles in life.
This mod has changed the way i look at minecraft, and i am forever grateful for your efforts to do that. Thank you so much!!

We'll miss it, man. I'll hope you ever have time to come back to it, and I'll be looking hard to find something even half as good, for the future. Thaumcraft was the magic mod that got me enjoying mods in the first place.

Speaking of which, I have a pinned tab in Firefox that still says that this thread has 2009 pages. That means that at least 286 pages worth of messages have been lost on this thread alone.
Also, I hope that Azanor will hop in from time to time on here and/or Discord to chat with us. Even though you will not be able to entertain us with your great content for any longer, we still appreciate your work and dedication through the years and you will remain in our hearts forever.

Hey, I have a high understanding of programming and have been doing it for a couple of years now, I always wanted to get into modding but never knew what to develop, If you're reading this, how would you feel for me to try and take this mod development?
I also know how to develop 3d ghraphics for the models and I can keep the Thaumcraft aesthetic which I really like
so?

I was checking this forum thread everyday to see if the beta 27 was out, really sad to see Azanor won't develop it any further
I'll try modding some stuff, if and when I'm feeling more confortable with it, give or take 3 months, I'll see as building anything as big and great as Thaumcraft

Made an account just to say thank you for all of your hard work and dedication over the years. Ever since I found it, Thaumcraft has been one of my favorite mods, and definitely my favorite magic mod (Botania comes close).
I hope that eventually you'll have the time to resume development of this wonderful mod, or at the very least allow someone (or a group of someones) to continue to work on it in your steed. It be a tragedy for a mod as good as Thaumcraft to be left to the ages.
While I am sad to see you go, all good things must come to an end, and I wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors, Azanor.
TC is THE reason I started playing modded minecraft. This is sad, but sadder if it isn't handed off to the community to develop. I totally understand you moving on because of time constraints. I do hope you also understand just how big TC is. In each minecraft version update there are linchpin mods that the community watches to see if they update. When they do, the community moves forward. When they don't, the community hesitates and splinters. This happened when the jump was made from 1.64 to 1.7.10. And again from 1.7.10 to 1.12.2.
When TC finally made it to 1.12.2 a lot of other mods came too...TC matters. It's continued development matters. Minecraft is less fun without it.

It's sad to see Thaumcraft no longer being developed but I respect your decision and I wish you good luck.
I will remember all the fun I had with the various iterations of Thaumcraft from Arcanacraft to Thaumcraft 6.
Thaumcraft always was and always will be my favourite mod that aditionally got me into modding. A sad farewell
