I've tried do like someone told me and turn stabilizers off. I've even gone further and made it automatic using node monitors from thaumic horizons, but when I turn stabilizers off, node sucks some aspects and node monitor turns everything on. So I still stink tat recessive stabilizers (they won't allow node to get aspects for others, but will allow to share aspects). It'll allow more controlled node merging.
So I have a mana bean farm after a few hours of golems harvesting and replanting them, I've noticed that the type of mana bean changes. In the picture, to my left is the 5x5 pad I have for the Alienis beans. As you can see, there is now one Aer, a few Corpus beans, and 1 Exanimus bean that is a little off the picture. To my right is the pad with Aer beans. They are all fine. Across the way from the Aer beans is supposed to be the Corpus beans which also now has Aer beans. I placed all the groups of beans at seperate times for when ever I obtained them. I.E I had aer, I planted all 25 on the pad. I later got corpus and planted the 25, then I got the alienis and planted those 25. This is happening with almost all of the mana beans that I have.
I dunno how to set up golems, seems too much like a tech mod to me and I can just barely get botania to function, let alone something more complex.
Golems are not hard really, they're like everything else in Thaumcraft, you have to take time to carefully read the Thaumonomicon and take it one step at a time,

Yeah, I've experienced the same thing. Harvest golems aren't very good at keeping things organized.
Me too. I had to redo my "gardens" further apart because they were planting garlic in the Belladonna patch and so on. It's the only solution I know, to have a space of 3 or 4 blocks between each patch with a Harvest Golem.
Yeah, Harvest+Ordo golems replant with any seed within reach, and they can reach weird places. Go for Use golems to replant, optionally with Fire upgrades to increase the number of plots they can handle.

I did some CraftTweaker scripts for Mystical Agriculture. They fill in a couple of small gaps in MA, and also let you make or duplicate not only vanilla plants, but the blocks, plants and wood from Quark and Biomes O'Plenty. Also spawn eggs for most vanilla mobs! The scripts are here on Github.
Sorry, have had spotty internet access. By folder I meant the mod itself, like opening the package contents. Below is the crash log, which I believe is a tad different than what I got before (this was after a fresh install of minecraft entirely). It just gets stuck on the world creation screen and never even loads the world. Any help at all would be very much appreciated. This is only when attempting to play with both Thaumcraft and Railcraft. Either of them alone with the rest of my mods and it works fine.

Totally different error, but is probably a java issue as well, and definitely nothing to do with TC.

Thanks for the reply. I have the most current version, according to Java website (Version 8 Update 40). How do I increase permgen allocation? I have 4 gigs ram on this comp and haven't really ever had an issue with minecraft or more mods than this before. Thanks again.
One or the other, not both. Java 1.8 renders permgen obsolete and does not use it, but would dynamically allocate more space when needed. I'm quite sure that your MC at least is not using java 1.8, and so you are running out of space as MC is hitting the permgen cap specified in the launcher functions.

Is there a way to have MC use an older version of Java even though the rest of my comp is using 1.8? I'm 100% sure that it was updated.

Just hunt down and destroy all older versions. They do tend to hang around long after they're not wanted. minecraft should auto-detect a new path upon finding the old path empty of a java installation.
This post can mostly be ignored. I just like putting thoughts down as I progress through mods. I spoiler it so I don't go taking up too much space.
Fiiiinaly over that Spiritus/Humanus hump. Lucked out on combining the right stuff, and suddenly could scan everything. Trying to make my way through TC without any outside help or anything. Little challenging, but fun (lol butt fun). Reached a stage where it feels like I can basically research anything that I have available, so I don't see much direction now. Just gotta find things that sound interesting and try it. Suuuper wish I could zoom out in the book. I'm sure I should be upgrading my wand before too long, putting it off a little for now. So many things to research, is a bit overwhelming. Think that Infernal Furnace might be something I want to focus in on if I can, but that could be a few steps away.
While I can appreciate the progression with the start of this new world, I still think I woulda been just fine kicking off in my old Blood Magic world. May even still think about doing just that. Though the world gen might still come back to bite me. Nodes and ores would hopefully not be too bad. But I'd definitely be missing out on a lot of loot chests, and would need to make a significant journey to find things like trees and obelisks. Eh. I'll get there in this new world eventually. Just needing to do a lot of resource gathering.
Bit of a slow start to the mod, took some thinking, but I'm hoping I can keep my momentum going now.
So I gave my account an unwise name way back when, and found out just yesterday that Minecraft changed things up and I could change my account name. Naturally, I wanted it.
I took a moment, though, since I wasn't sure how the mod stores research, and I didn't want to lose my progress, and I grabbed Research Duplication (something I'd previously ignored). Unfortunately, it wasn't what I was looking for, relying as it did on having a physical copy of the research to duplicate.
Just a heads up for anyone else who wants to change your name for Minecraft: you will lose your Thaumcraft research. You will also lose anything in your Baubles slots, so watch out for that. (lost some expensive/irreplaceable stuff from other mods)
Anyway, I just finished going through the research again, which was kind of a pain, and now I'm re-scanning everything in my world, which is a touch annoying. With that in mind, I have two things I'd like to know about:
1. Is there any way to unlock specific discoveries in Thaumcraft 4? I know about the creative-mode cheat-sheet, but that unlocks everything, and I just wanted to get to the same place I was before. An easier way of doing things than manually re-solving all the research would have been nice.
2. Would it be possible to add some sort of symbol to an item that contains no research points, so I know whether I've scanned it or not? Like, as a default option for stuff from other mods, or for stuff like the cobblestone slab, that have no research points. A simple circle with a line through it would work. It's a little wearying, not being sure whether something in my collection's been scanned or not when it comes up possessing no aspects under my cursor.

There's a book from Thaumic Tinkerer that allows you to store your researches and give them to other people.

Nope. It was your memory.
Caused by: java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: PermGen space
Find a way to get yourself java 1.8, or increase your permgen allocation.

When it comes to trying to spawn a node the following command line no longer seems to be working for me; it keeps giving me unbalanced bracket errors.
"/give Playername Thaumcraft:BlockJarNodeItem 1 0 {nodetype: 0, nodemod:0, Aspects:[{amount:100,key:"terra"},{amount:100,key:"aer"},{amount:100,key:"aqua"},{amount:100,key:"ignis"},{amount:100,key:"ordo"},{amount:100,key:"perditio"}], nodeid: "0:-312:64:54"}"
Does this work differently in newer versions? If so, can anyone point me in the right direction for spawning customized node jars?
Is there a way to have MC use an older version of Java even though the rest of my comp is using 1.8? I'm 100% sure that it was updated.
Just hunt down and destroy all older versions. They do tend to hang around long after they're not wanted. minecraft should auto-detect a new path upon finding the old path empty of a java installation.
This post can mostly be ignored. I just like putting thoughts down as I progress through mods. I spoiler it so I don't go taking up too much space.
Why I can't delete my comment?.
There's a book from Thaumic Tinkerer that allows you to store your researches and give them to other people.
