Also, always chunkload golem farm areas, or you will have vanishing golem problems.
Justice, are you able to recommend a chunkloader? I tried http://www.curse.com/mc-mods/minecraft/chunkloader-simple but it conflicted with something and caused crashes (had none before installing it, had none since removing it so am pretty sure it was the problem).
(Or unless it was too close to my spawn area and conflicted with the spawn area chunk loader - I placed it about 85 blocks from spawn block.)
It's the first one I've tried so I know nothing ......

Do we have any idea of whether or not Azanor plans to rework the Infusion Enchanting for TC5, considering that vanilla MC actually has a an enchantment system that's worth using?
Don't get me wrong, I think the rework of Vanilla enchanting puts it about on par with Infusion enchanting as far as time invested/cost, and I prefer the Thaumy way because it just feels better and cooler. This just seemed worth asking.
I like ChickenChunks too -- the chunkloader recipe is reasonable for advanced play, it lets you turn in-game display of the borders on and off, and offers several shapes with adjustable radius. There's also a command interface to see a map of loaded chunks.

I did some CraftTweaker scripts for Mystical Agriculture. They fill in a couple of small gaps in MA, and also let you make or duplicate not only vanilla plants, but the blocks, plants and wood from Quark and Biomes O'Plenty. Also spawn eggs for most vanilla mobs! The scripts are here on Github.
His prior statements indicate that infusion will be very similar. No overhauls, just some tuning.
Yes, infusion along with the other crafting systems will be virtually unchanged. For now infusion enchantment will also stay the way it is, though I have always felt the system to be very clunky. I might consider removing it since as Rasmodius pointed out the Vanilla system is much better than it used to be.

The only issue with it I have encountered so far was resolved by setting
#The number of ticks to wait between attempting to unload orphaned chunks
cleanuptime=0
In the config file, without this sometime big holes would appear in the landscape as it cleaned up "orphaned" chunks I rather needed, ie was about to stand on!
This may have been actually fixed, as that was some versions ago.

I still prefer your enchanting system over vanilla's. I would be very sad to see infusion enchanting go away.

Due to my snarky and sarcastic personality I can easily be seen as a jerk. If I've offended you in any way it was likely unintended.
Mr. Azanor, how to make that happen when you click the wand was happening a certain action (for example, click on the thrown item), but only if the player is open any research , and how to progress a certain player on the server? Thank you in advance)[/pre]
What exactly does "Warping" do on the armor I've found?
Also, I just completed the Opening the Eye research. I have already read the Crimson rites book, but I do not see a recipe for creating Eldritch Eyes... was it removed? Am I back on the Guardian farming thing to get them?
This is the last bit of research available on that particular tab. I've completed every other piece of research in the rest of the book (I have no TC add-ons, fyi).
Warping gives you more warp while you wear the armor.
And as I understand it, certain eldritch research is only opened up by warp effects that happen when you're maxed out...so you may have to spend some time in New Gibberton, with your new rock and roll band, Eldritch Guardian and the Mindspiders.
Hi! I have started with thaumcraft, and I discovered something weird when I was going to make some niter for the very first time in my world. Neither coal nor charcoal had any aspects on them, and when I threw them in the crucible, nothing happend! Earlier when I first scanned these items they had aspects on them, but now they don't and I can't scan the again. I am not sure if there are other items who doesn't have any aspects on them when they should, but there might be some.
Does anyone know why this happend and how to fix it?
Can you not see aspects, or do they not have aspects? In any case, check that all your TC addons are explicitly compatible with the current release of TC.

I'm going to guess that your aspects got reset. This occasionally happens on start up. The best way to know if this is the case is to go to your research table and check to see which aspects you have. If you have only primals that means that your aspects got reset. If you have combined aspects such as potentia then you are experiencing some other bug. If it is the reset there was a post about it several pages back and someone responded with a solution to it. You might want to try Azanor's github, there is a link in the op.
I rather prefer infusion enchantment to vanilla enchantment altogether unless vanilla enchanting changed significantly in 1.8.
The only way I wouldn't mind its removal is if something similar to the Focal Manipulator was added, but I've never particularly liked "pipe in fuel, receive enchantments" - not as much as Infusion Enchantment, anyhow.
Actually I've suddenly got a thought. How about the TC3 four-block multiblock arcane workbench crafting station - there's slots to put items in to determine your enchantments as it works now, similar to how ingredients for infusion enchanting work. Warded Jars or an Essentia Mirror would be placed around it as before.
Like, basically just like Infusion Enchanting as it is now but with a crafting interface. The item you're enchanting would have a graphic floating in the middle, and the items being added would have graphics around the edges, shifting positions to balance out as more are added.

I still have the combined aspects, so they didn't get reset. The weird thing is that I can't even scan the items at all. When I scan items that don't have any aspects, like a ladder, it says in the bottom right corner that the item doesn't have any aspects on it, but when I try to scan coal that doesn't happend. I don't even get the normal scanning sound.
So I was playing this mod and for whatever reason the ores aren't showing up. They are invisible but they still have the black outline when you hover over them with the cursor. I had the same problem with Tconstruct. Does anyone know what might cause that?

My mods are listed below.
Yes - it was.
Sorry Auric, I meant scanning - a blonde moment

Many thanks. I'll try it.

ROCK ON
No, it's not... but you know what... it's because I'm an idiot. Probably. And what makes me think that (probably) is...
... I'm on 4.2.2.1.
I did everything correctly *except* for updating.
:sigh:

Minecraft version: 1.7.10
Thaumcraft version: -1.7.10-4.2.3.5
Forge version: 10.13.2.1291
Thaumcraft addon: Thaumic Tinkerer (Thaumic Tinkerer 164)
Also, I am playing in a custom modpack I've made in the curseclient.
