i have a small suggestion: Stable pedestals
A new type of pedestal that creates a bubble around the item placed on it that protects it from 1 strike from the matrix, but also provies some stability to the infusion too. these pedestals require essentia/Vis(from the new system) to regenerate the bubble shield.
oh, and it would be nice to see more "in a jar" ™
a netherstar in a jar that provides light and would be cool.
wisp in a jar, do i really need to write this, wisp in a jar is the most requested "in a jar" ever.

ive had a pech captured in an earlier version, and it despawned because i didnt nametag it.
The way it used to (4.0) work is that they would not despawn if they had items in inventory, not counting their special trade items. This is more or less the same as for zombies & skellies, who don't normally despawn if they've picked something up. The gotcha there was that they'd occasionally sell you the trash they'd picked up, which would eventually empty their inventory (allowing them to despawn). (Note that anything they actually "bought", and their own "sale goods", don't count.)
On the other hand, I can see going over to nametags given the upgrade to 1.7.2. I do still have a question about the Pechs, though. Supposedly, each of the types had one other aspect they liked as well as Lucrum. I did a bit of experimenting, but I could never find any other essentia they would take in trade. Does anyone know (or is Azanor willing to reveal) the truth of that?
And. something else I discovered yesterday, but forgot to put in the bug-list: Runic shielding defends against poison damage! Which was not unwelcome (I got blindsided by a witch), but certainly unexpected!

I did some CraftTweaker scripts for Mystical Agriculture. They fill in a couple of small gaps in MA, and also let you make or duplicate not only vanilla plants, but the blocks, plants and wood from Quark and Biomes O'Plenty. Also spawn eggs for most vanilla mobs! The scripts are here on Github.
That's how it's always been. Pech are considered hostile mobs and name tags prevent hostile mobs from despawning.
Pechs have an internal inventory of 9 slots. Things they pickup, THAT DO NOT CONTAIN LUCRUM, go here.
If at least 5 slots have something, the pech will not despawn, whether or not it is friendly.
If all 9 slots are full, the pech will stop scavenging other items, making him safe to drop things around. Well, not things with lucrum because those *will* be picked up.
When trading, any wool I receive, I throw back on the ground. This keeps the pechs around, stops them stealing stuff, and means I don't have to go fishing. Well. Fishing Golem. H'es next.
I disagree, that is something I would create in a heartbeat and damn the cost....even if it required drops from said mobs, it is still preferable to leading them back to the good ol' homestead.
I was unclear in my original post. I'm not saying it's necessarily bad, but it's not something that you'd use often enough to warrant it being a wand focus. Make it a new type of warded jar if transportation is all you're looking for. Wand foci should be reserved for features that you'll want to use repeatedly on a regular basis. In that respect, Polymorph would just be a novelty. You use it once as a makeshift way to get around having to transport livestock, and then it just sits in your inventory because it doesn't accomplish much beyond that.
Stuff like Equal Trade, Warding, and the combat foci are things you'll pull out many times because they solve problems that come up repeatedly. To make something on their level of usefulness is very difficult.
My point is just that a lot of stuff that fits thematically as wand foci, doesn't fit in practice because it's not something you'd use as a regular tool.
I would say no. Or, if yes, it would involve a lot of redstone. a lot.
Redstone a lot = PC blown
Thank you for answering my question....on the other hand how do i use a arcane ear? i dunno where to put a repeater so that i can get the pulse or am i doing something wrong again (i'm not good at following instruction/s sorry)
So, I switched my animal farms over to the butcher golem. After various amusing hijinks, they're one long pit now. What is the range of a butcher from his base? He's clearly not keeping up with the chickens.... Also, the T-con doesn't list any specific upgrades -- perhaps the order upgrade should let you decide which animals he slaughters and how many pairs he keeps?

you need a noteblock tuned to the same as the arcane ear, when you apply a redstone signal to the noteblock, your arcane ear will pulse.
i find it awesome by the way how the little addon mod is catching on. the angel rings from extra utilities, the baubles from botania etc. i think, its gonna be pretty big pretty fast.
like forge multiparts becomes standart across many mods.
For the 1.6.4 version, was there a way to do retrogen by world? Conversely, was there a way to generate a world without magical forests being added to the biome list?
I have an old seed from my vanilla days that I want to try again, but I don't want to accidentally double up worldgen features in any of my other worlds. I'm still on 1.6.4.
Been 4 days and 9 pages, so I'm asking again.

tried again. crashed again
(48 aer in my wand)
nope not that
@anotheedit now read in thaumonomicon that it needs 70 of each vis instead of 50
still it shouldn't crash !
you need a noteblock tuned to the same as the arcane ear, when you apply a redstone signal to the noteblock, your arcane ear will pulse.
I would assume so. I think it may be around the same as meat, but I may be crazy/thinking of another mod.
well, there is baubles XD
i find it awesome by the way how the little addon mod is catching on. the angel rings from extra utilities, the baubles from botania etc. i think, its gonna be pretty big pretty fast.
like forge multiparts becomes standart across many mods.
Been 4 days and 9 pages, so I'm asking again.
