I did some CraftTweaker scripts for Mystical Agriculture. They fill in a couple of small gaps in MA, and also let you make or duplicate not only vanilla plants, but the blocks, plants and wood from Quark and Biomes O'Plenty. Also spawn eggs for most vanilla mobs! The scripts are here on Github.

I am new to this mod so excuse me if this has been covered but I'm just really curious - I was exploring earlier on a boat and I passed by what looked like an aura node, idk if it could have been a wisp, but it wasnt moving, the thing is that as i passed by it THREW ME UP IN THE AIR like really high and then i was like glitched mid air getting damage like when you're suffocating in a wall. what was that? was that a wisp? or was i just glitching and had nothing to do with thaumcraft?

That was crazy - I just read that they do that so that you fall to your death- clearly wasn't counting on the encounter to happen on water
Boots of the Traveller / a thaumastatic harness are not strong enough to escape a nodes pull
They throw you up into the air so you have a *chance* to get away. Its up to you to be able to survive the resulting fall (and not land close enough to get sucked in again).
For hungry nodes, they can be very useful for charging wands. Manually only, since they'll eat a charge pedestal close enough. Surround it with obsidian, since they can't eat it. Leave a small hole, one block in size. You can then throw items in to increase the node's aspects, right click to charge your wand, and sneak to escape. Or use some kind of teleporting with commands/Rod of Return/whatever else there is. Also, if you're sneaking, a Hungry Node can't pull you off the edge of a platform, even right next to it. Well, if it's above you, it can. But for level or below, it can't. Unfortunately, you also can't back away while sneaking unless you have some crazy slanted obsidian bridge. I'll try to get a screenshot of a good setup in a minute, in case anyone wants to try.

So this was a good setup that I used before. Unfortunately, I haven't found a Hungry Node yet in this world, but it does still work. Also, if you have a mod that lets you obtain Bedrock, such as Mekanism, by all means use that. Or better yet, feed it to the node. Also, for feeding it, bear in mind that it usually takes a few stacks of an item to add up to around 32 aspects which I believe is the max you can make it hold. Except for expensive aspect-rich items but why would you do that...
K, i've tried this now a few times so I'm pretty certain I have a good idea what is going on. I made boots of the Travel just today and for some reason, I'm getting the "Moved Wrongly" message. It's not a lag issue in the least. I take the boots off, everything is fine. I have chunks preloaded and I'm staying in them just to be sure. Soon as I switch to creative mode, the rubber band action and the server log error of 'moving wrongly' stops completely. Come out of creative and wham; call me rubber band man.
I'm workin on 1.7.2 of MC and Thaumcraft-1.7.2-4.1.1.14 (far as I know our latest and greatest)
I also have smart moving running. I'll disable and try this again, but I have a sinking feeling the new anti-speed hack formulas that mojang put in are what's causing this silliness. Since I play locally, it's really annoying and there really should be a way to turn this silly protection mechanism off.
Oh P.S. anyone else try putting cactus in the infernal furnace yet? DON'T DO IT! It doesn't make cactus green, it makes boom boom (server crash due to ore dictionary)

Update your forge version and there will be no "boom boom" ;).
@Zsashas - a hungry node, encased in obsidian, can't destroy terrain - the obsidian shield should protect a wand recharge station. Also, the hungry node acts on a proper sphere, but the wand recharge stations rage is defined as a cube. By placing a wand recharge station diagonally you might be able to be in recharge range, but out of destruction range.
@JustJinxed - First, upgrade your forge to 1147. The "recommended" version is incompatible due to ore dictionary issues. Next, I also get "moved wrongly" messages from my server - when ive run into, and glitched into, a wall. Not running into the terrain solves it for me. I did also have to enable flight in my server.properties as its disabled by default, and the server flags thaumastatic harness flight as a violation.

Hey, i now this is stupid to ask, but how do i transfer research form one save to another? ive already tried copying the player.dat file but it didnt transfer over, and im a bit annoyed... i dont really wanna have to rescan every item in my world, then recreate all my notes and then reresearch them.
There was another user that reported something like that... it was an issue with connected textures options from optifine. Try disabling it and see if you can get back to your world.
Update your baubles. You are most likely running version 1.0.0.13. Use version 1.0.0.16 instead, it fixes that bug.
(little question regarding baubles... does anybody know if the 1.7.10 version is backwards compatible with 1.7.2?)

yea, they eat you, if you run into them.
just keep your goggles on, when youre driving over open water, and when there is a node that looks funky, drive around it.
