Bug: Arbor doesn't like to connect to anything. Using Thaumcraft 4.1G on Silverwood Wand Core going from Instramentum to Arbor and using Terra>Arbor and it won't light up and connect.

Check your Thaumonomicon, Arbor is now Aer + Herba, there were a couple of others changed as well in the G hotfix...

Arbor and instrumentum are two completely unrelated aspects.

Due to my snarky and sarcastic personality I can easily be seen as a jerk. If I've offended you in any way it was likely unintended.
is it just me or is the research for Golem Core: Harvest bugged, ive been getting the help of succubus's cheat sheet, and Meto is just not co-operating with any of the other relevant aspects :/
Edit: NVM got it, had to add a few extras that weren't mentioned

Wow, 2 frequently asked questions (and Innumerably answered questions) in the same post! Not to be too evil, but at least read the changelog on the op, it would ask at least one of the 2 questions (IE, the answer is update thaumcraft, because i suppose you are running it on a mac). The second answer is Shift + f.
Ignoring the snark, thanks for your help. I actually figured out the shift + f a bit later in the day. The other solution, though, isn't really a solution for the time being. I'll just have to wait until the DW20 pack gets a newer version of Thaumcraft and our server can be updated to it.
Azanor I just realized that you put the letters on the end of your version numbers.... Isn't the reason for the 3rd number so that you can identify small updates usually bugfixes etc which is what you appear to use the letters for... therefore 4.1.0g would technically be 4.1.7.... or am I wrong in the meaning of the 3rd number?
The letters currently just refer to bugfix updates, but I am actually going to just increment the last number from the 1.7 update onwards. The letter is just silly.
I just discovered an interesting bug. The scanning of runic leggings (and likely the rest of the runic suit) resets whenever you log out. This means that you can get unlimited free research for its aspects because you can scan it, log out, log in and scan it again.
Scanning currently sees each of the different damage values on the runic armor as a unique item. Definitely a bug and already fixed in my current dev versions
Thoughts on the new arrows:
They have that annoying spinny thing going on that most projectiles have.
The arrows themselves are buggy, and appear to jump backwards at times.
Arrows also travel very linear, and nothing like normal arrows, they seem to have a real weight to them, which is awesome for the earth arrow, but doesn't make much sense for the air arrow.
Water arrows don't extinguish fire. It would be awesome if fire was extinguished, and torches either fell or turned into unlit torches, which of course would need another block ID, but whatever. Same with earth arrows, if they ripped through vines and broke glass.
It would also be awesome if certain arrows changed element depending on the block it passes through, for example, water would turn to earth when passing through lava, fire would turn to earth when passing through water, earth would turn to fire when passing through lava, order would turn into normal arrows in the End, water arrows would turn into normal arrows in the nether, etc etc.
Also, I feel like there should be a config option to disable research of arrows and add them as a craftable, would be nice.
Hope you actually get a chance to read this.
Stop treating mod devs poorly. These people mod as a hobby or as a service to the community, they don't have to take your suggestion and you are not entitled to anything from them.

Is that why I can't infuse runic armor spawned in from creative? I was trying to mess around with a few combinations of runic armor abilities to get a nice set up for myself, however I couldn't kick it off even after reading the cheatanomicon. I even tried doubling up the recipe to make sure I didn't derp up after trying five other attempts.
sorry for my english but I'm doing this from the google translator, since there is almost no English. For more comments I read, I do not get found out, and I would like to please someone or Azanor, I answer simply yes or no. It is going to be the mod for 1.7.2? Thank you!
I'm having a problem not making iron caps for a basic wand.
I am running FTB Unleashed mod pack. And as you know, i can't go much further without the base wand. Any suggestions?
Is the problem with crafting the caps, or crafting the nuggets to make the caps?
If you can't make the nuggets, and you have any mods added besides the FTBU Pack ones, it might be an ID or recipe conflict. I remember there was an incident a while ago when a mod had a single ingot as the recipe for a shuriken and it overrode nugget crafting.
If it's the caps, you might be making some simple mistake, like getting the arrangement wrong or accidentally using full ingots. If you're sure it's correct and it still won't work, post a screenshot.
If there's no interference from other mods (there shouldn't be in a major modpack), you're doing everything right, and you still can't craft nuggets or caps, you probably got a bad download.
You want a farm, you grab a hoe. You want a boat, you grab some wood. You want a fireplace, you grab A FLAMING HELL-BOULDER BECAUSE THAT'S HOW MINECRAFTERS ROLL!!!

I am near positive I am doing it right. I'm on a server which is just my s/o and myself. I tried it in single player as well. Downloads were done through the FTB launcher. So Maybe that bugged out.
The problem is that you are running ftb unleashed which is a 1.5.2 pack running thaumcraft 3 and not 4. This thread and all the informations are for TC4, so you can't craft those caps since... well... it's a non-existing item
Oh my god. How did I even miss that? Thank you. I thought I was going crazy.
Even still. The FTB wiki says I should be able to make them. OO
I'm getting really really frustrated now with the new essentia system so I apologize if the following sounds too harsh.
Serious question, has anyone ever made a successful build where one of the following items was actually useful:
mnemonic matrix, restricted essentia tube, uni-directional essentia tube
I've found find the mnemonic matrix useful. I've got a thaumatorium that can make tallow and thaumium and another that helps with making golems. At some point I'll also make a setup that will help make alumentium and nitor. The mnemonic matrix is useful for recipes that need similar aspects to create.

I think they were referring to the two lit nodes they were connecting. The example of a connection that wasn't forming was Terra - Arbor.
Edit: NVM got it, had to add a few extras that weren't mentioned
Ohhh okay. That explains alot. Thank you for informing me.
Ahhh, ok then. Yay for more misunderstandings!
A couple posts above you:
