I've found a bug, of sorts. When I use this mod with other mods, in this case "Tinkers Construct", it appears to make all the block item models 2D in the inventory, instead of the normal 3D block icon for vanilla. It only happens with modded items. Do you think there is a way around this?
UPDATE: Tried it with "Biomes o' Plenty" and it seems to work there, so so far I've only encountered issues with "Tinkers Construct"
Still haven't got around to it, I will be sure to get it done soon! if you could inbox/post a list of blocks you would like to stay standard It would greatly help. Will get around to it right after I finish my current project for college.

Well its good to know it works with some other mods, I have no idea why it would do that with tinkers, I will have to have a look. Thanks for the input!

Is it be possible to make out that in the future we can select objects to make 3d?

Ok, 1.8/snapshots have had a lot more effort put into the model files, Hopefully before a release they allow every block to be edited. I should be able to create actual 3D versions of the models. Although this will be limited to the default texture pack. I believe my mod will be obsolete once 1.8 comes out and Resource pack artists do there work with the new model files.
Yep, New updates have proven that this mod will die with 1.8.. we had a short run! but in the end of the day we have had something similar add'd to vanilla! I may work on another mod at some point, but in the meantime this mod will no longer be updated. Thanks for believing in it!
i feel bad for this guy now that the update is coming
Why? Most modders make their mods to increase players enjoyment of the game in some way, so they should be happy if it becomes a part of "vanilla" gameplay. Even if it's done with a different method!

Thankyou, this is exactly how I feel, yes it kinda sucks, but as a programmer who did this SUPER simple mod for nothing but a hobby it gives me plenty of enjoyment and pride to see something along the lines of it being added into vanilla.
so.... about the resource pack thing, you mean each individual plant has to be edited?
Changes with 1.8 have enabled most items to have custom models. This has introduced things that have already surpassed this mods capabilities. So yeah almost all the plants and blocks can now have a custom model assigned to it through a resource pack, be sure to check the minecraft subreddit (www.reddit.com/r/minecraft) to see some of the stuff people have made. You will need to sift through it a bit though. Lots of stuff gets posted in the subreddit
Using blocks 3d 1.7.2.1 with forge 1047. The blocks 3d mod messes up tons of block textures in other mods such as IC2. The block doesn't render when placed.

They must use a similar way or I may be overwriting the file, sorry for the inconvenience.
