This is very insane because this seems to be a giant bug. Can you tell me what the chat shows when you enter '/gene list'?
The bug with the players will be fixed in the next version.

Fly, Speed, Water breather, Swim in lava
Further info on this: I had a syringe with blood with fly and speed on it from a previous game world. I had used NBTExplorer to copy my inventory from that world to the current world. Only the inventory, though. I was able to use that syringe immediatly and gain Fly and Speed in the new world.
I then obtained Water Breather by beating up a Squid with the Scraper (and ran the resulting samples through the various machines.)
I then obtained Swim in Lava by beating up a Zombie Pigman with the Scraper (and ran the resulting samples through the various machines.)
Im running a 1.6.4 server with this mod. the no fall damage gene and the water breathing gene are bugged and prevent all damage. While the save inventory gene does not seem to work properly.
I really enjoy the concept of the mod and i would like to see these bugs fixed.
Nice. I'll download and install this on my server when I get home tonight. To fix the "unkillable" bug, will I need to get rid of the genes I have and make them all again or should I be able to just reapply the genes? Or will I have to do anything at all? Also, with the machines now being powered by IC2, will it use a particular level of power or can I just hook it up to whatever tier power I have?
The "Save Your Inventory" gene doesn't seem to work. Is there something special about it to make it active or should it be "always-on"? In any case, I had the gene set on myself and when I died, none of my stuff came back with me.
Zombie:Resistence: makes you more resistent to damage but fire damage are double(if fire woud take 1 heart of damage every second it would take 2 hearts with this gene)
Skeleton:Faster Arrow Shotting:like the name says, it would need less time to fire a arrow from a bow

First of all: this mod is awesome and i love it.
but if you could give it, (at least in the config) an option to not use industrialcraft power i would greatly appreciate it, since all the other mods i like are incompatible with industrialcraft. perhaps a redstone related option? or the option just turning off the power requirement entirely? i just would like to play this mod w/o industrialcraft since right now what i'm doing is getting the required materials and then using NEI to convert them into the other things, and that seems a little broken to me...
What an incredible-looking mod! Is there any chance of eventual integration with Thermal Expansion? The new API just went into beta and will be released on november 22nd. TE now has its own power system.
i'm having a small problem, whenever i try to use any of the blocks, they dont work.
for example. i tried to use the centerfuge after drawing blood from myself. it didnt do anything. idk if its because i'm in creative or what.
i feel like i'm doing something wrong though, if someone could help me out i would greatly appreciate it.
If you are using the latest version of the mod, then you need to hook up power to the various machines in order for them to actually work. You can use the Combustion Generator (included in the mod) or some form of IC2 power.
Speaking of the Combustion Generator: Obsi, you guys might want to look at that thing because it eats through charcoal/coal like there's no tomorrow and the amount of power is puts out is not comparable to an IC2 generator for the same amount of charcoal/coal used. Also, it would be good if it could be connected to cabling and then the machines get power that way, with the method you are using, you have to build at least two of these generators in order to power all the machines (and that's assuming you put one machine on each face of this generator, which kind of closes it off for adding more coal later.)
Crashes on server. NOT ON STARTUP, HOWEVER.
Installed Advanced Gen. > Loaded World > Joined > Tried to use a machine > Server spat out a crash report. I can post the crash log if needed.

Are you giving it power? The new version 1.9 makes it so the machines require IC2 power.
Why when empty hand?
What if I have Enderstorage installed as well? Which color does it default to? White?
