Is it intentional that reservoirs accept jet fuel even though they are full thus destroying any excess.
I had a very simple setup, fractional unit connected to reservoir with fuel line. I expected the reservoir to fill up and once it was full the fractional unit should have filled up and cease working. instead the fractional unit keeps on pumping out the fuel even though there's no space.
Seems logical. How would the fractional unit know that the reservoir is full?

So I decided to get MeteorCraft cuz I loved ReactorCraft and Rotary, and I was wondering, when the meteors hit the ground, they scatter(I have sky bursts turned off) then I saw on the page on your website full meteors not scattered. My question is if the meteor is supposed to scatter or is it just a random chance of each?

I built a nifty breeder reactor back in v19b (quite stable, ran for ~4 days on and off), but as of updating to v21b, my sodium heaters first disappeared (evidently odd id change, probably a wierd config thing) and now blow up as soon as they hit 300 degrees, rendering my breeder reactor completely useless. It's a regular-style Minecraft explosion, not a fancy throw-blocks explosions and no radiation is left behind, but about half my reactor gets destroyed.Biome is extreme hills edge, it's a flat mystcraft age (ambient temp 23 degrees)[edit: double text? really?]

Some weirdness also happens if you try to empty buckets to a reservoir that's nearly full. (less than 8000 space). it won't fill up but it will empty the bucket.
Fuel lines have an infinite capacity. It says so in the handbook. The fractionation unit is just pumping more fuel into the fuel lines. If you take fuel out of the reservoir, it will stay full until the fuel lines empty. If you use fluiducts, you can avoid this, and the fractionation unit will fill up instead of the pipes. The fractionation unit has a max capacity of 240 buckets, by the way.
I have this problem when I first change the id for freeze potion that does not match ars magica 2, then change the id of the corium corium and flowing as the crash report says.

I've looked around the forum to see if anyone else has reported this and haven't. If it has been discussed already my apologies.
New to RotaryCraft/ElectriCraft and am experimenting around in creative to learn it and I found a problem I don;'t understand, or maybe it's a bug... I don't know.
I got an RC Hydrokenetic engine turning an EC Induction Generator which is charging a battery.
All good so far.
Then I have some wiring running to a Relay and then to an Induction motor to power some RC machine (Grinder)
I can throw a Lever to connect/disconnect the relay and everything past the relay stops. (As it should)
But here is the problem. Even when the Relay is disconnected and there is nothing to use the power, the battery will continue to drain unless I shut it off by removing the redstone signal.
If I break the wire between the Relay and the battery, it stops. But it seems the relay (even when it is disconnected) is draining the battery.
This makes the whole battery and relay pretty useless as each machine would have to have it's own battery, rather than using a battery with relays to shut off or turn on separate circuits.
Any help about whether this is intended or a bug, or am I just missing something is greatly appreciated.

I use the mod Customrecipies to change recipies and the plugin Banitems to disable items i don't like. I used this to disable the Bedrockbreaker and changed all recipies that use bedrock to use quadruple compressed cobblestone instead. I also disable all items that i think are op on my server. This is my decision and i don't see it breaking any EULA. Is there any way to make Rotarycraft work again while keeping my changes? If not i'll have to rollback to v13 or the newest version that doesn't block the use of that mod and plugin but it would be a pity because i really like the realism and the way your mods have devoloped so far.
Just for your information. this is a small private server that can't even be reached from outside my local lan. so selling items really is no issue! ;-) and i don't think this approach is the right one. blocking all mods or plugins that disable items is not ok, just because someone might missuse it to sell things. think of all the honest users that loose controll over their worlds just because some idiot thinks earning money is more important than having fun!
Unban all Rotary Craft items and everything will return to normal. Reika has made his views clear on people messing with progression in his mod. And the bedrock breaker is very important to progression.

its actually NOT OP if you look at whats needed (including the time spent) on getting it to an endgame "OP" state.
your changes to bedrock actually look easier/ more OP than the original, especially if you have a cobblegen set up.

How am I supposed to get any Hot Molten Sodium when the reaction needs 300C?

You are breaking mine, so if you do not remove the changes, you do not even have permission to use RC in your pack.
Also, as others have said, your changes are ones made out of a failure to understand the RC progression and techtree, and, as I have in the past warned others would happen if you modified things, broke half of RC. I will not be providing you an exception, not least because the code does not know your motivations for disabling items, so you have two options: Unban the items, which will not cause the problems you fear unless you are one of the "I get to choose how everyone on my server plays" type of admins, or remove RC entirely.
I also must thank you for providing a beautiful demonstration of why I do not allow people to modify it for 'balance reasons', even when sale is not the goal: In your lack of understanding of the mod, in an effort to make it "less OP", you in fact made it much easier.

Fractional unit has capacity of 30 buckets, as one bucket is 8000 what ever units it displays the fuel with.
And I though the fuel line had infinite transfer capacity not infinite capacity to store liquid, why on earth would the reservoir even exist if the pipe could hold all the liquid ever pumped to it.
The fuel bucket actually holds 8 buckets of fuel. This was done to prevent running back and forth many times to keep an engine powered. Also, the unit for fluid storage is mb, or mili-buckets. 1000 mili-buckets per bucket. The fractionation unit can store 240,000 mb, so that's equal to 240 buckets. As I said before, the fuel bucket item stores 8000 mb to prevent having to fill your inventory when trying to transfer fuel without a pipe.
All the pipes have infinite capacity to both store and transfer fluid. As more fluid builds up in the pipe, so does the pressure. The higher the pressure, the faster the transfer rate. That's how fluid mechanics work IRL, so that's how it works in RC.

You have a biome ID conflict. Updating will not solve that.

Well thats weird. I think all the biomes added are ones that have wood types listed in your config. Figured it was a overwrite since thats what it seems like biome mods do anyways.Is this something I can fix in a config?

Fuel lines have an infinite capacity. It says so in the handbook. The fractionation unit is just pumping more fuel into the fuel lines. If you take fuel out of the reservoir, it will stay full until the fuel lines empty. If you use fluiducts, you can avoid this, and the fractionation unit will fill up instead of the pipes. The fractionation unit has a max capacity of 240 buckets, by the way.

New to RotaryCraft/ElectriCraft and am experimenting around in creative to learn it and I found a problem I don;'t understand, or maybe it's a bug... I don't know.
I got an RC Hydrokenetic engine turning an EC Induction Generator which is charging a battery.
All good so far.
Then I have some wiring running to a Relay and then to an Induction motor to power some RC machine (Grinder)
I can throw a Lever to connect/disconnect the relay and everything past the relay stops. (As it should)
But here is the problem. Even when the Relay is disconnected and there is nothing to use the power, the battery will continue to drain unless I shut it off by removing the redstone signal.
If I break the wire between the Relay and the battery, it stops. But it seems the relay (even when it is disconnected) is draining the battery.
This makes the whole battery and relay pretty useless as each machine would have to have it's own battery, rather than using a battery with relays to shut off or turn on separate circuits.
Any help about whether this is intended or a bug, or am I just missing something is greatly appreciated.

Unban all Rotary Craft items and everything will return to normal. Reika has made his views clear on people messing with progression in his mod. And the bedrock breaker is very important to progression.

its actually NOT OP if you look at whats needed (including the time spent) on getting it to an endgame "OP" state.
your changes to bedrock actually look easier/ more OP than the original, especially if you have a cobblegen set up.

I've got a Problem with Breeder Reactors, they keep exploding on me as soon as they reach 300C. My Setup are 2 groups of a 2x2 square of Breeder Cores, surrounded by Sodium Heaters. I feed the Heaters Molten Sodium from below, and as soon as something reaches 300C, -> boom
How am I supposed to get any Hot Molten Sodium when the reaction needs 300C?

You are breaking mine, so if you do not remove the changes, you do not even have permission to use RC in your pack.
Also, as others have said, your changes are ones made out of a failure to understand the RC progression and techtree, and, as I have in the past warned others would happen if you modified things, broke half of RC. I will not be providing you an exception, not least because the code does not know your motivations for disabling items, so you have two options: Unban the items, which will not cause the problems you fear unless you are one of the "I get to choose how everyone on my server plays" type of admins, or remove RC entirely.
I also must thank you for providing a beautiful demonstration of why I do not allow people to modify it for 'balance reasons', even when sale is not the goal: In your lack of understanding of the mod, in an effort to make it "less OP", you in fact made it much easier.
This is a bug which is fixed for the next update.
As per the OP, you must state each rule to prove you actually read them.

Reika, I am asking your permission to include your mods in my public mod pack, EnkiPack, that will be available on the FTB launcher. I currently have a 1.6 private mod pack, but am in the process of updating to 1.7, and would like it to be a public pack. I have read your rules and will follow them, as well as all of the other mods that are in my pack. A link to my pack's modlist can be found here. Thanks so much!
--None of the users will reupload or redistribute the pack, this will be done with the FTB Launcher by entering a code in the 3rd party pack section.
--Users will also not decompose the pack in anyway or rehost them.--None of your mods or any of the other mods in EnkiPack will be modified in any way other than item ID changes if needed for modpack support. (IDs will not be set to 0 to disable any part of the mods unless its a bug that has been acknowledged by yourself as a temp workaround until it can be updated and fixed) No mods in my pack change other mods behavior or crafting in anyway.
--This pack will not generate income in anyway. I will host the only official server and FTB will not redistribute a server pack. Our website does accept donations but it is only used to help pay for the cost of web hosting, XenForo forums, and if there is extra then extra donations will help pay for our dedicated server, which is hosted by FragNet. (Our donations only amount to very small amounts each month and usually just cover our website hosting, if we ever were to receive more than what we need to provide our services then we would spit up up the overflow and distribute it among the mod authors that accept donations that are in EnkiPack) We would never sell items or any in game content, are donations are accepted as donations only and any amount can be donated.
--I would never claim anyones mod as my own, now say I helped any mod authors unless I truly did.
--Never plan to transfer EnkiPack to another owner, if by chance I quit supporting EnkiPack I will have it removed off of the FTB Launcher. (I am part of the FTB 3rd Party Pack Team and work under Watchful11)
The fuel bucket actually holds 8 buckets of fuel. This was done to prevent running back and forth many times to keep an engine powered. Also, the unit for fluid storage is mb, or mili-buckets. 1000 mili-buckets per bucket. The fractionation unit can store 240,000 mb, so that's equal to 240 buckets. As I said before, the fuel bucket item stores 8000 mb to prevent having to fill your inventory when trying to transfer fuel without a pipe.
All the pipes have infinite capacity to both store and transfer fluid. As more fluid builds up in the pipe, so does the pressure. The higher the pressure, the faster the transfer rate. That's how fluid mechanics work IRL, so that's how it works in RC.

Your change log doesn't mention anything wrong with it on your site. Hope the update will be ready when I get home so I can get it my sever going with mods I want.
You have a biome ID conflict. Updating will not solve that.
