Poking through the TConstruct's issues page, this page suggests that yes, that is the issue (assuming it hasn't changed since then, this is from the 1.6 version).
He is intentionally being incompatible. Given that this is mDiyo, I do not expect it to get fixed.

MDiyo's apparently retired from modding and the lead dev for TConstruct is now Boni. I'll mention it in that topic, see if they can figure out something on their end.

So there I was, knee deep in cobblestone for the fifth time that day...
MDiyo's apparently retired from modding and the lead dev for TConstruct is now Boni. I'll mention it in that topic, see if they can figure out something on their end.
He has only stepped away from the front-end PR side. He remains in full control.

Not true. MDiyo has retreated from the public view, but is still the main developer. Boni is basically the PR guy.

You could be a jerk and add Necrotic Bones to their drop pools if TConstruct is involved, since he's being purposely incompetent. I don't expect you to do it as it's a mod interaction that isn't your fault, but just. Stuff. And stuff.

I can probably do that rather easily. Expect to see it in v7.

Three, the problem is largely one of human nature, rather than a select few "controlling" anything. Yes, there are certain individuals and/or groups that are more harmful than most - this is particularly evident in the US with the power lobbyists have over congress - but a much bigger factor is simply people as a whole. People are naturally rather selfish and shortsighted, and most resent the idea of having to give something to someone else without an immediate and comparable compensation. As it is, the friction that ideas like "pay taxes so that the infrastructure can be maintained", meeting criticisms like "my money should go to me and me alone" is ridiculous and that sort of social mindset is extremely harmful when it is as pervasive as it is.
Not as ridiculous as you think; there are some pretty good arguments in favor of decentralization of infrastructure; if too much depends on one single system controlled by a central authority, than there's a system with a single, catastrophic point of failure. And since that point of failure still consists of "people," take a wild guess at how likely failure is. The best you can do is localize the damage.
You're right about people, though. People are selfish and shortsighted. Any effective system has got to take that aspect of humanity into account for any chance at being effective.
Four, there are certainly problems with the current economic system, but totally eliminating it and replacing it with something different is neither feasible nor advisable. Such changes cannot happen overnight, and the world and its economy must remain functional during any transition.
I agree. As long as people are used to a system, it will continue to exist, even when it does not exist. The key to changing anything on a large scale depends entirely on changing the minds of an immense number of individual people... and without some seriously good marketing, it isn't going to happen.
On another note, what's the story with mDiyo? Am I missing something?
Since mDiyo is the, ah, "user-oriented" developer who refuses to make mob spawning in Natura configurable, and has expressly forbidden successors like progwml from doing so, and whose 1.7.10 code is an ugly mess (I've read the stuff, I'm an aged senior software engineer, I know wherefore I speak, and yes, I can write better code in my sleep--I've written patches for Natura), I'm unimpressed with mDiyo's opinions or attitudes on anything.
OTOH, there's a team of people who aren't mDiyo working on Natura, at least, and progwml appears to be the spokesperson/lead cat-herder. Different story from TConstruct.
I am trying to use ModTweaker beside RotaryCraft in my private game. I have no intention of using Minetweaker to modify anything to do with RotaryCraft.
I get the following exception:

That error is not deliberate; my handling is breaking somehow. Can I see the contents of your script?
Also, you should still be able to use both MT and RC as normal.

I wonder how long it will be before the "staple" mods of pack makers like FTB, AT and Technic begin to drop things like TC and TE and replace them with...
RoC and ChrC.
It may be a while, but just look how quickly AoA took over the adventuring market...

Good
luck. RC was in Horizons and Monster, and less than 5% of the users
liked the mod. The vast majority either refused to touch it. removed it,
or complained about its inclusion.

Wow.
I understand that high-tech mods like these are a bit difficult to enter properly, but geez.
Personally, my first experience with RoC was when in Monster, I successfully built and powered a Fermenter, then I built a Boring Machine and wondered why it wouldn't work when I attempted to use it with a DC engine.
I really wish that mods like these become mainstream. I guess one can remember that even Thermal Expansion probably began as that one mod.

In the last year or so, the bar has dramatically been lowered on both what is expected of players and the difficulty/danger of most mods, and players have become largely complacent.
TE is largely - though rather unintentionally - responsible for this, as are many of the other RF-family mods, in particular BigReactors.

He has declared Reika's mods unsupported, had log warnings against DragonAPI, and been quite hostile while talking to Reika.
