Ah-ha, well, don't I feel stupid. Actually, that change seems to be listed under v2.
In that case, could you remove the "Hold shift for effect data" tag on the lamp tooltips?
Done.

Even in the nether (and wow, I really learned a lesson about reservoirs full of jet fuel in the nether), the pulse jet furnace does not get hot enough to smelt steel. I even doubled the power (tried both 2x torque and 2x speed) and didn't gain a single degree C, indicating to me that power beyond the minimum makes no difference for the machine.
I suspect that by controlling temp with tiny smidgens of water I could get it that hot, but the micromanaging required for that doesn't seem like it would be intended. Is there some *really* tight diminishing returns curve on power that the difference between 131072W and 262144W wouldn't reveal?
My whole Pulse Jet Furnace experience has been explosions and death; I had it behind blast glass when I dumped the single bucket of jet fuel directly into the machine while in the nether. I thought I was stupid to even try it, but it didn't blow.
Speaking of explosions and death from misuse, being in the path of the Bedrock Breaker grinding bit does not end exactly as you may imagine, like it does for the Pile Driver.
The NEI handler for the extractor seems screwed up for the Geostrata ores, it shows the wrong base ore and products. No discernible pattern that I can tell, other than it seems to only choose from vanilla ores. The grinder's output for the Geostrata ores does not display. This is probably linked to the extractor issue.
The glass texture of pipes extends into the machine to which it is connected. It should only display half as wide as it currently does.
Speaking of textures, I recall that you had previously mentioned that Geostrata rock textures were going to be dynamically generated from the base stone texture. Is that still the plan?
Finally, for the ore textures, you have all of the different ores with the same overlay, which makes things like Thaumcraft infused stone look a little weird, since those ores don't follow the vanilla ore pattern. Would it be possible to instead have the ores be generated from the base rock with an ore-specific overlay? Actually, that would require shipping 61 ore textures (plus more when you expand the mod ore registry), so that's probably a bad idea.

The way you smelt steel with the pulse jet is using cooling fins - ambient makes no difference with it, generally speaking 2 fins are enough unless you use an accelerant,

Upon world reload, the wire was still in place. Attempting to break with a Bedrock Pickaxe also caused a crash that looks identical (to my eyes, at least; can link if it would be helpful).
Also, when an item breaks, even one that is designed to sit adjacent to a wire, if the wire is carrying a load, it kills the item when it flies close enough. Please let there be a way to improve this behavior, especially given the tendency of your blocks to go flying in all directions. Meh, it's live bare wire. It's known to be dangerous. I can accept this punishment.
I was taking a peek at the issue's on WAILA Plugins GitHub and saw a very similar issue to the problem I am having with version 0.0.1-10. Is version v3c using the WAILA 1.5.5 or the 1.5.6a API? Apparently, there was a change and the crash with the plugins module occurs when any mod is using an older version of the API pre-1.5.6a.
Exactly what you described - connect more than four engines ^^. Was that limit ( any engine ) always here ? I remember only something about upgrading with bedrock but not limits.
But left side is not only not active but also not connected to the right ( clutch ".
Lubricant still in the engine will be treat like Nitrogen. You won't be able to add more Lubricant. You'll be able to add Nitrogen only when the engine's internal tank is empty (by either using up all lubricant or picking up the engine).
Quote from Briareos_Ger@ reika Chromaticraft is very very mindblowing for me. But i don´t know if these are bugs or i´m to dumb :
- Looking up usages for Chromaticraftitems in NEI completly crashes the game. ( I know u disabled the NEI support for a reason, but does it have to crash? Do you need a crashlog for more infos from me?
- I played 2 hours yesterday and made the castingtable and the manipulator i found some flowers, energystones(underground) etc, etc, shouldn´t there be entrys in the lexicon for little "hints" what to do with them? Also everytime i open the lexicon its empty. After a second opening there is only the "getting started" entry...Its confusing :)I didn´t find any fragments yet, do they drop/ appear in case an special event is triggerd by me( crafting / finding Cc-items)? if i didn´t watch your chromaticraft "sneakpeek" and used google i would not know how to craft the table or the manipulator-> i think much less informed players of your mod could be deterred from this. Maybe i played not enough to have the knowlage ingame? Maybe a little guide for the absolute minimum gears / tools would be good? That wouldn´t break the reason for exploring the world and craft all your awesome blocks and items!?
I absolutely enjoy V3!!!
Quote from ChromoTrigger»Yeah, I think fragments are too hard to come by. I would suggest adding some of the earlier fragments as rare mobdrops (only by playerkill and maybe only when carrying the book). Finding several hundred dungeons to get most of the fragments would take forever.
On a different matter, I am now the proud owner of a 6.5 GRF capacitor bank with an I/O of 6.5 MRF/t, just enough to deal with 4 turbine generators. This feels a liiiiiiiiiittle bit overengineered now...
It also lags like hell. It seems to constantly allocate and free memory in absurd amounts.
Having mobs drop fragments makes no sense. Aside from villagers, witches, and perhaps Endermen, there is no indication of intelligence on any of them.
1) The turbine generator still crashes the client when right-clicked with the angular transducer: http://pastebin.com/NtrKxkct .
2) Even worse, tesseracts still don't transmit energy to or from RoC and ReC machines, especially the turbine generator. Same for dimensional transceivers. Thus it is still completely impossible to utilise a turbine generator.
Edit: just realised EnderIO has a new type of capacitors. It's somewhat reasonable with those. I would still prefer a more direct solution, though.

Few questions about Geostrata ore generation mechanics. The reason I ask is to determine if the geostrata ores change the overall ore density or placement. I use COFH to generate most of my ores and have tuned the # of clusters, cluster size, max, and min heights for balance. Curious if geostrata ores would affect the end result.
I know that in Geostrata V2 and earlier, geostrata stone never blocked ores from generating, the ore had priority. How is this changed with the addition of geostrata ores? My assumption is that the geostrata ores are generated anytime geostrata would like to place it's stone where there is already an ore block. The standard ore would then be converted to the geostrata ore, allowing ores and geostrata to exist without blocking one another.
In my 5-block turbines, the largest set of blades doesn't spin, but the energy output increases. Is the non-spinning turbine the bug, or the extra power?
EDIT: Nevermind, breaking and replacing the fifth piece fixed it.

Woah, woah, Reika, Villagers, intelligent? Your really grasping at straws here don't you think?
Is there a way to transport lubrication to turbines without having to use buckets?
EDIT: That's it, I've proven my ignorance too many times. From now on, I will not ask until I have tried everything I can think of, then come up with and tested a few creative ideas, and still don't know what to do. Lubricant goes in a hose, not a pipe.
The presence of a decorative tank is causing a flickered rendering on nearby rotarycraft liquid pipes full of fluids. The tank does not flicker while the pipes do.
Edit:
Empty canisters do not stack once unstacked.
Some blocks with tanks are reporting the number of tanks multiple times on mouseover. I concede this could be WAILA, but it doesn't happen very often, and sometimes I'm seeing a tank report itself 4 times, other times 2.
Also, I am not getting back Gas Pipes when I break them except with a Bedrock Pickaxe.
Quote from Physicist»Also, I am not getting back Gas Pipes when I break them except with a Bedrock Pickaxe.
Gas pipes are probably sensitive items (like glass), and can only be harvested with silk touch items. The bedrock pickaxe acts like it has silk touch, so try breaking them with a diamond silk touch pickaxe and see if that is correct.
Yes, I presume that is correct, Cisrox4 (no diamond silk to test, atm, though). I bring it up, though, because considering they break instantly with your fist, like regular liquid pipes, this behavior deviates from Reika's standard for pipes.
Done.

Please let there be a way to improve this behavior, especially given the tendency of your blocks to go flying in all directions.Meh, it's live bare wire. It's known to be dangerous. I can accept this punishment.I was taking a peek at the issue's on WAILA Plugins GitHub and saw a very similar issue to the problem I am having with version 0.0.1-10. Is version v3c using the WAILA 1.5.5 or the 1.5.6a API? Apparently, there was a change and the crash with the plugins module occurs when any mod is using an older version of the API pre-1.5.6a.
Yeah, the only Electricraft blocks I can break without crashing are the motors, generators, and transformers. Just got a crash on a redstone battery.
Edit: Except that it's V3a; I don't see a b or c for Ecraft.

Engines on the left are offline, clutch in idling state, RotaryCraft v3c.
Same happens in reverse rotation configuration for left side but I don't recall shafts direction of rotation ever mattered.
Exactly what you described - connect more than four engines ^^. Was that limit ( any engine ) always here ? I remember only something about upgrading with bedrock but not limits.
But left side is not only not active but also not connected to the right ( clutch ".
well , thanks
if all the engines need to be replaced that seem to be a BIG project
since i use MagnetostaticEngine all the time
Having mobs drop fragments makes no sense. Aside from villagers, witches, and perhaps Endermen, there is no indication of intelligence on any of them.
I will fix #1 and #2 is likely on their end.
Fixed in code, but do not put blank pages in.
That is a version mismatch.
Break and replace them.
You are never supposed to obtain GeoStrata ore blocks; they drop their "wrapped" block.
EDIT: Nevermind, breaking and replacing the fifth piece fixed it.
Woah, woah, Reika, Villagers, intelligent? Your really grasping at straws here don't you think?
EDIT: That's it, I've proven my ignorance too many times. From now on, I will not ask until I have tried everything I can think of, then come up with and tested a few creative ideas, and still don't know what to do. Lubricant goes in a hose, not a pipe.
Gas pipes are probably sensitive items (like glass), and can only be harvested with silk touch items. The bedrock pickaxe acts like it has silk touch, so try breaking them with a diamond silk touch pickaxe and see if that is correct.
