Hey, I'm not sure if this has been asked already, but are mobs supposed to be ultra rare, or is my game broken? I'm not seeing anything spawn. Only in lava and the frost lakes is where I see things spawn. I'm using the latest version for 1.11.2.
Try using the latest (not the recommended) version of forge for 1.11.2. This worked for me. I spent literally hours trying to figure out why it would work for other versions of Minecraft but not 1.11.2, and I decided to change the forge version out of desperation, might be worth a shot?
Also I have to say - super awesome mod Lycanite, looking forward to playing it
Got an interesting question for anyone who still uses the 1.7.10 version.
When I get attacked by a Raiko, Roc, or Strider, I'm suddenly unable to open chests or pick anything up off the ground. This effect lasts until either the entity de-spawns or dies; or in the case of Raiko/Roc, until it targets me and swoops in for another attack.
Also, during this bug, if I right-click on a chest, I stop moving (as though the chest was going to open: the arrow keys I was holding down are canceled).
This occurs only for the latest version, 1.13.0.5. It does not occur for version 0.4 or 0.3. It occurs when I use no other mods, and I've tried both "newest" (1614) and "recommended" (1558) Forge versions.
So here are my questions either to Lycanite or anyone else with relevant experience:
Any idea what's causing this?
Is there a config setting I can change that might fix this?
If not, which do you recommend and why: deactivating those three mobs (and possibly others that might trigger the bug), or using version 1.13.0.3 or 1.13.0.4?
Hey Lycanite, this is Xero from discord. Story ideas are still in works just been busy. I was wondering if a 1.12 update is in the works or if a beta is available? Rebuilding my mod package to include the exploration expansion. Cheers!
Sorry to be a bother but I love the mod and really wanna figure out my problem as it keeps crashing me on startup, I've tried it alone and with the mods that I have already installed but still the same result. I don't know if I'm missing any compatability? Or if its just the wrong Forge Version but here's my crash report

Same problem I have I believe with you just needing to update your forge (I haven't figured out if it works yet but I would assume so I just have problems unrelated to the mod of getting forge to update) but logically it should work

I genuinely have no clue whats going on with my game, it's the only mod I have on yet it still crashes.
Ah you need to allocate more RAM to Minecraft, I recommend 4GB if possible, just don't allocate all of your computer's RAM or it could become very slow.
Also make sure your mini map mods (if you use them) aren't trying to track EVERYTHING. I had to disable most of the tracking because of spawns and items on the ground.
Lycanite, do you happen to read any H.P. Lovecraft? If so, you should do some more Lovecraftian mobs, or maybe even a boss. I think shoggoths would be pretty cool, and imagine how awesome it would be to have to go through some kind of ritual to summon an Outer God like Yog-Sothoth or something?

Thank you! This worked perfectly!
For some reason curse keeps failing to download...
Sounds like a problem with CUrse, there's not much I can do about it really, though a new update is out now so maybe that'll for you.
Check out my survival series, Galaxy Odyssey. You can download the modpack on the Technic launcher here!
My series also incorporates my mods: Village Names, ChocoCraft Plus, Not Enough Pets, and ASMC.
I need help u.u my version of minecraft is 1.11.2 but lycanites mod is a error x.x

Exploration Expansion?
new update guise
I assume that now that the dragons are out 1.12 is next on the hitlist?
I'll need to see a full copy of that error log. Also make usre you are using the latest version of Forge.
1.12 wont be too much longer, I've been focusing on content currently and I'd rather release it on 1.10/1.11 and delay 1.12 a bit as once I move to 1.12 I wont be updating 1.11/1.10 any more.
You may need to update your Forge version as the fishing event is missing which was added in more recent Forge builds.
Possibly, though I'm really wanting to get a new boss out so maybe that first and then off to 1.12.
Awesome , dragons !
Support Ice and Fire , This is terribly awesome !:D

Wow, that is awesome! Can't believe I've never heard of that! I'd still love to see some Lovecraft beasties by Lycanite though.
Any word on why there's a chest bug when I'm attacked by Raiko et al?
